We booked another riad (Lazord) but due to problems in that riad, we were transferred to this one upon arrival without notice even though we were in contact with the owner. While the staff was helpful and accommodating, the riad itself is not taken care off and is in a desperate need of renovation: 3-4 power outages per night, broken toilets and bed frames, old ACs not working properly (40 °C + weather), peeling wallpaint ... It is also not clean: dirty rugs and floors not being vaccumed/moped, hair, stains and dust on the bed, towels, chairs, tables, cuttlery, plates etc. We also booked a tour thorugh the riad and considering the capabilites and the knowledge of the ''tour guide'' it felt more like a scam than anything else. Overall, would not recommend.

We originally booked another riad (Lazord) with the same host but we’re upgraded to this one due to a problem with some of the rooms. The riad was clean, the breakfast was excellent, and the service that we received from Emad was amazing. He took us to a restaurant on the first day and was a very helpful when it came to booking transfers and bus tickets in an onwards transfer to Casablanca. The terrace in the riad was probably the highlight of it all - it was very big and offered excellent panoramic views over Marrakech

Service impeccable ! Ahmed, un homme très attentionné et sympathique. Toujours à l'écoute et toujours prêt à rendre service (et avec sa femme, deux cuisiniers fantastiques ! Nous avons passé un excellent repas !). Le riad offre une vue magnifique sur le coucher de soleil, est situé dans la médina, à proximité de tout, et, en même temps, est un endroit calme la nuit. Je le recommande.

State lontani da questo Riad. Le foto che spacciano in giro non sono veritiere. Il Riad è sporco, in una posizione pessima,in mezzo alla parte più brutta della città. Le stanze piene di muffa, i bagni emanano odore di liquami. Il cibo nulla di che. Il proprietario pessimo, abbiamo chiesto, tramite booking,il rimborso della prenotazione poiché siamo dovuti scappare da lì,a causa della puzza e del lerciume, e lo stesso si è permesso di dire che era tutto apposto e che era colpa nostra e che non ci avrebbe risarcito. Guardate bene le foto che pubblico. State lontani dal Riad!

Notre avion initial étant été décalé, nous avons dû avancer notre voyage. Nous avons trouvé le Riad des Ramparts à 32€ la nuit sur Airbnb. Ce fut une belle surprise. Le dirigeant nous a très bien accueilli avec un thé bien chaud. Nous devions initialement récupérer notre chambre a 14h, hors notre hôte nous a donné notre chambre à 11h30. Nous étions ravi de pouvoir nous reposer plus tôt ! Nous avons pris le soin de déjeuner au Riad, les plats étaient très bons et le petit déjeuner (continental-marocain) était complet et délicieux. La chambre est propre, climatisée et coquette. Ce Riad respecte les traditions marocaines. Notre hôte et son équipe, étaient plus qu’agréable ! Le seul petit désavantage que je pourrai donné et qu’il est assez loin à pied des lieux importants (place, grande mosquée, palais…) mais il est à proximité des jardins secrets et du jardin majorel. Je recommande ce Riad à tout le monde !

Nous avons séjourné de 5 nuits Pour les points positifs : -le gérant, qui est venu nous chercher à notre taxi, pour nous amener au Riad. Bienveillant, il s’est occupé de nous fournir une carte SIM avec du crédit. Et nous a donné de bons conseils pour déambuler dans la médina et Marrakech. Parfait pour débuter le séjour du bon pied. Enfin, il nous a changé de chambre la seconde nuit, nous donnant ainsi celle qui correspondait à nos attentes. -le Riad, situé dans un quartier populaire il peut créer un sentiment d’insécurité au premier abord mais se révèle séduisant et authentique une fois les lieux appréhendés. Le petit déjeuner qui est copieux et varié. Enfin l’ensemble du personnel souriant, serviable et agréable. Pour les points négatifs : -les horaires d’accès au petit déjeuner, elles indiquent son accessibilité de 8h à 11h00. Mais la prise matinale semble impossible avant 9h00. Résultat sur 5 nuits, nous avons eu 2 matins sans pouvoir prendre de petit déj !! -L’hygiène !! Nous avons pris une Tangia un soir pour manger sur le toit terrasse du Riad. En passant devant la cuisine j’ai surpris un chat en train de manger la poêle de notre plat ! J’ai fait la remarque au gérant, mais il nous a servi la poêlée et nous a facturé 300 dirhams !! -l’insonorisation, prévoir des bouchons pour les oreilles, pour les personnes au sommeil léger -WIFI, présent physiquement dans le Riad, mais quasiment inexistant.
