Mandarin Oriental, Marrakech

Exceptional landscaped area filled with palm, bamboo and olive trees. The resort is next to Royal Golf Marrakech for the golf lovers. Kids club offer pottery, painting, ping pong, play area, outdoor mini zoo of goats, chicken, rooster, peacock and sheep next to small garden of vegetables education and entertainment. Managed by Mr. Thomas Briere and his many assistant managers including Fiona, Nada and over 300 associates MO provides an unparalleled experience of comfort, leisure and exclusivity you can’t find anywhere else. Staff are standby to assist with anything you desire. Attention to detail makes all the difference. From the moment you check in, to the moment you check out, you can see every detail no matter how small has been taken care of.

Not quite sure where to start with this review…words like exceptional, incredible, stunning and so so special just don’t do this hotel justice. Yes it is pricey, probably the only con I can think of because everything else just blew us away. A real life oasis. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel so special and the service is incomparable. All the staff, everyone, thank you so much ☺️ . Then you have the villas of course that kind of takes your breath away. The hotel gardens, which of course you can’t get a sense of how truly beautiful they are, as you walk towards your villa, all you can smell is jasmine and roses, genuinely, I kid you not. The main pool is stunning, (I’m running out of adjectives) we had it to ourselves pretty much the whole day we sat by it. The spa….my fiancé and I both had the traditional hamman which was the perfect way to kick off our holiday, clean off the London grime and prep our skin for some sun. The food was delicious, our 15 year old son loved Hakasan most, I loved the breakfast, my fiancé loved it all. Last but not least, Oussama, our Butler, was INCREDIBLE, thank you for looking after us and making our holiday so special.

We went there for our mini moon. Our butler Amine was great and the villas are gorgeous. You are however on the landing path to the airport so you get woken up from 6am. The breakfast was delicious but the service can be quite long. We had an issue with the noise from the AC in the villa but this was resolved by the hotel.

From arrival to departure attention to detail was very impressive. Especially around the pool where the Lifeguard was very attentive, ensuring that shade was always provided where requested, even moving umbrellas to cope with movements of the sun. The villa was spotlessly clean, and the restaurants likewise, where the food choices were very impressive. All round an excellent stay

We did the pool day pass with three course lunch. Amazing experience, beautiful grounds and delicious food. Our server Oualid was very attentive - 10/10! Thoughtful extras throughout the day - a refreshing lime drink, ice bucket with water, fresh towels and employees to move the shady umbrellas
