Riad Clementine

We were lucky to enjoy this riad while staying in Marrakesh with our three children ages 9, 12 and 15. First off, the riad is within the medina and is perfectly located to explore the Medina but you also have easy access to exit the Medina for other activities. The riad itself is small with few guest rooms, which creates an intimate environment that is not available at larger riads. The owner has left no detail unturned, from the scent when one enters, to the well appointed courtyard to the soft music playing in the background, all create an oasis after walking through the busy Medina. The pool is beautiful and is heated, the perfect temperature. There are lounge chairs with beautiful towels and straw hats throughout. Breakfast is included and it is one of the best we have had in our 10 days in Morocco. Some of the items change daily to create a variety. Lastly, the staff are just wonderful. Aimad was so helpful and gave us a thorough orientation when we came. We enjoyed our daily conversations with him by the pool. He was knowledgeable in regards to the culture of Morocco but also just a fun guy to hang out with. Fatiyah was sweet, helpful and present everyday at breakfast. Our older daughter was sick for one day and we felt comfortable leaving her at the riad to sit out the day’s activities with Fatiyah there to check on her. The owner is ingratiating and makes your feel like the riad is your home, literally. We will be back and we come we stay at the Riad Clementine!

Get the transport from the airport. It’s affordable and we wouldn’t have found it without the taxi service. The smell when we walked in made us realise this is an oasis in Marrakech - so wonderful. Relaxing compared to outside. Aimed was fantastic. In fact all of the staff team worked so hard and made our stay so pleasant. Not much English spoken but a few French words go a long way. Food was great. We ate here for the full menu on the first night. Saved us from the stress of going out late in the evening when we arrived. Many wonderful spaces here. Courtyard, beautiful. Pool, one of a kind. Terrace, fantastic. So peaceful and quiet. Room was great. We were downstairs in the corner. Cleaned so thoroughly every time. No complaints. About a 20 minute walk to the main Medina. I saw a couple of reviews complaining about the fumes on the road? Welcome to Marrakech! If you don’t want exhausts and motorbikes, stay in a resort. It didn’t bother us and was part of the experience. The Riad is not on a main road. Taxis just outside the wall if you need them which is convenient. Marjorelle / YSL gardens only 10 min walk. A word of advice: cut in half any price given to you. This goes for taxis and items from shops without a label. Everything is marked up at a tourist price, you negotiate it down. It was a great stay at Riad Clementine. The straff was so friendly and kind and helped us with everything we needed from transportation, tips/idees for what to see and do in Marrakesh to ironing our clothes for an event. Especially we want to thank Karim and the kind lady at the breakfast, both treated us so nice and made us feel very very welcomed. The Riad is very clean, smells amazing and very easy to walk from in to the medina and have a small but lovely pool on the terrace.

Beautiful riad in a very authentic part of the Medina, within walking distance of all major attractions. Perfect service by very friendly staff. The lovely pool ( heated, so it's not just to look at ! ) and peaceful rooftop terraces are ideal to relax after a visit of the busy city. I would certainly advise to stay in for diner at least one night, because the food was the best we had in Marrakech (and yes, we tried several very respected restaurants)... I would most certainly return !

Riad Clementine exceeded our expectations. Spotlessly clean oasis in the magical and chaotic medina. Each room is a private hideaway off the orange tree filled courtyard. Our group had rooms on the upper two levels and loved them. Went with our adult sons and their girlfriends and other family. The staff is excellent. Riad Clementine understands hospitality. Manager Ahmed makes you feel at home and is a big help in navigating Marrakesh. You'll love the delicious and delightful breakfast set out for you each morning. They'll even accommodate your desire for evening cocktails. We considered staying at Pestana CR7 in the posh section of town but are so glad we chose Riad Clementine.

This is a lovely hotel. Our room and the public areas were very nice and breaskfast was good. Compared to everywhere else we stayed in Morocco, though, we found the management and staff to be much less friendly. The check in experience was so much less welcoming and friendly than anywhere else that we were turned off from the start. Then we saw the owner a couple of times and I was surprised in such a small hotel that he never said hello, asked about our stay or acknowledged our presence. That just struck me as cold and not at all what we otherwise experienced in this country.

This is an absolutely beautiful riad. It costs more than many other riads in Marrakech, but we splurged on it, and we are glad we did. The courtyard and surrounding spaces are beautifully decorated, with many potted trees and comfortable seating. Our room was lovely (see photo), with a very comfortable bed, and an excellent shower. The second story pool is quite charming, too, and while we didn’t use it, others did. We ate two dinners here. The first was a chicken tagine. After two weeks in Morocco I was a bit tired of the ubiquitous chicken tagines with lemons and olives, but this was far and away the best of the many we had. The second night was a Berber lamb tagine, which was also great. The service was also excellent, with a special shout out to Aimad, who was very helpful and informative. I highly recommend Riad Clémentine!
