We were staying at another hotel but had been told that this hotel had a roof top bar with beautiful views. Despite it being a wet and cold night, 20 of us braved it and whilst the hotel thought we were mad, they kindly set up tables for us and we enjoyed our pre dinner drinks. The views are amazing and it was worth the cold. Staff were friendly and helpful and the wine good!

In my memory, Never been to such a bad hotel. I have been asking for two days straight for a towel. Never got it. I have read it was 4 stars, would have been the same if it was 0 stars. Avoid that place at all costs. I have been dumb enough to go there a second time, for a drink, i am not that dumb. The service is so bad it's fun. You could wait 20 minutes for a drink (no alcohol on my drink), the place wasnt even crowded, we were 13 ( i have counted). Crap place.

As soon as we got to the hotel at 11:00pm, the first thing we were asked was to pay the "hotel tax" no welcome or anything. It took them 2 hours to finally check us into our rooms and when we did, the door handle to get in and out of the room was broken and the bedroom lights weren't working. After getting moved to another room, we noticed the toilet didn't flush and the shower head was broken, the fridge in our room was broken and only got fixed 4 days into our stay. Myself and two other stayed for 7 nights and it was nothing like the pictures they show online. Both mangers night & day were very rude and looked down on anyone who couldn't speak either French or Arabic. On one of the nights we decided to go to the rooftop bar to relax and unwind and was told by the one of the staff members that if we didn't order up to a certain amount then we would be told to leave even if we lived at the hotel. The room card would constantly stop working and we would have to go down to reception and get it sorted every time. The lifts would take at least 3-5 minutes to come once called, the lift call buttons for certain floors didn't work. The breakfast selection was very poor, not worth getting up for imo. On the last day of our stay, the male manager got really aggressive and said we hadn't paid our "hotel tax" and asked us all to bring out confirmation emails and passports to reception. We tried speaking to him and telling him that we paid the day we checked in and he was the one we paid the "hotel tax" too but to no avail. He kept saying "no English in this hotel" trying to imply that we should only speak French/Arabic. We was made to pay the "hotel tax" again before we left. Would stay well clear of this place.

By far one of the worst hotels I’ve stayed in. The customer service was awful and they were so adamant of getting their “hotel tax” literally before making me or my friends be remotely welcome. On top of that my phone got unfortunately stolen right outside the hotel by 2 theifs on motorbikes. Straight after this happened and as traumatic it was the hotel refused to help in anyway whatsoever, not even willing to share the number for the police there. I will strongly recommend you look elsewhere for a hotel.

Terrible hotel, dirty rooms, dark and gloomy. Cold stale food with no taste! The only good thing about this hotel is the room cleaning staff. My advise is to stay well clear, please don't be fooled by the pretty photoshopped pictures it looks nothing like the pictures!

I really didn’t enjoy my stay here. First the receptionist tried to charge me upon arrival when I had pre-paid, then the next day the cleaning staff moved all my belongings including putting dirty clothing in my suitcase on top of clean clothes, but also when I couldn’t find my much needed air plugs when woken up at 2am due to outside noise, which I had left on the bedside table, they had been put in my one of my bags!! However the bathroom hadn’t been cleaned nor bin emptied despite used sanitary towels being in there. The toilet flush was temperamental and had water running the entirety of my stay. The bath/shower wouldn’t let out water, so you have to wait hours while it gradually seeps away. The swimming pool is not fit for human use and the food including the pre-paid breakfast is disgusting. The staff don’t speak English as advertised and the spa is closed. Not worth the money or high blood pressure you’ll have while staying here. Only positives are location and view plus the only helpful member of staff called Hamza on front desk who is wasted in this hotel.

We visited the Sky bar as it was recommended by the TUI rep. The hotel was very dated and the lift quite scary. Horrible smell of food. Staff very unwelcoming. Drinks expensive. The roof bar was ok…. Great view but nothing more.

Old, dated, dirty hotel. Inadequate staff. We had to ask for clean towels every day. Sometimes not even toilet paper was present in our room. I wouldn’t recommend it. The photos on the internet are from many years ago and they don’t resemble the hotel as it is right now at all.

DISGUSTING, SHOCKING, VILE, DATED, DEATH TRAP OF A HOTEL!!! I was booked into this hotel for 7 nights but left after 2 nights as I couldn't handle the it anymore. The hotel staff will firstly charge you more than they should for the daily city tax when checking in. I was given a hotel room which had definitely seen better days and probably hasn't been stayed in for a very long time given how much dust had built up whilst the room had been sat empty. Room - Very dated with half of the lights not working. Air conditioning unit not working, once the technician fixed it the air conditioning unit made loud banging sounds every couple of minutes all day and night long, the technician couldn't fix this and left. The door handle for the balcony comes off in your hand as the screws are missing and hasn't ever been repaired, I got stuck on the balcony and couldn't open the door again so I had to shout down to a member of the public to tell the hotel reception to come up into my room and open the balcony door so that I could get back in my room. Cleaners decide to walk in without even knocking, this is an every day thing so make sure you have a towel covering you at all times as you don't know who could walk into your room at any time! Shower head leaking and holder broken so couldn't even have a bath properly. And the most shocking discovery of all is the dampness in my room, I had rising damp on the wall next to my bed, I suffer from asthma so this was a big no no for me unless I wanted to suffer an asthma attack whilst on holiday, the dampness has been there for a while it seems and the hotel is happy to let the old paint just keep falling off and let the damp get worst and worst. I raised all my issues with the hotel manager who apologised and said they will send a technician to resolve these issues. No Technician showed up to resolve the problems in the 2 days I stayed there before leaving 5 nights early to check myself into another hotel. BREAKFAST - The buffet breakfast option at this hotel is not only for paying guests but it is also a buffet breakfast for Insects, flies, Cockroaches and Cats. You see the infestation of insects helping themselves to the excess food fallen in the buffet serving area along with cats coming into the breakfast area from the streets, flies covering the fruit and sweet options during breakfast, and if your lucky then you won't get to see the cockroaches who join you for breakfast but it's not hard to miss the cockroaches because they are hungry and on standby to have any fallen bits of breakfast or leftovers that no one wants. Oh, and expect to be served the same leftover breakfast from the day before the next day, the hotel doesn't let any food go to waste and they do this by serving the same leftover from the day before. All in all, one of the most shocking and worst experiences in my life was staying at this hotel. AVOID, AVOID AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!
