We have travelled to Morocco several times, specially to Marrakesh, and this time we decided to try something different. The cosiness of a family like premises. For that purpose we chose the small Riad Malfa facility. This very tinny and quiet place is closely ran by a very sympathetic lady, who fell in love with Morocco and decided to live there rather than in her home town in France. The amenities are beautiful and very well taken care of. Breakfast is unique and the place a 5 min walk from the central square Djema El-Fna. Well done Beatrice!

We are a group of 9 friends who were recently at Riad Malfa and without exception we all had a fabulous 3 night stay. Béatrice, the lovely owner, arranged for us to be picked up at the airport and as the riad is not accessible by car, Ismael, the guy who works there, met the taxi and accompanied us on the short walk to the accommodation, where we were given refreshments of cake and mint tea. A great welcome to begin our stay. The rooms were quaint and spotless, all arranged around the courtyard. Breakfast each morning was wonderful, served attentively by Ismael. We enjoyed a fabulous 3 course dinner on the terrace on our first night, delicious and excellent value for money at 15 euros pp. The location was perfect, just a ten minute stroll from the main square and all its atmospheric craziness and we enjoyed the walk each day, wandering past the street food stalls, the souks and partaking in the unique Marrakech sport of dodging the steady stream of motorcycles, handcarts, dumper trucks and donkeys in the narrow alleys :D Marrakech is a fantastic city, like no other and our trip was one of the best short breaks we'd all had. Béatrice and her staff at Riad Malfa were instrumental in this, and she looked after her guests right until the end, when she came with us to where the pre-arranged taxis were picking us up and waving us goodbye until next time. Many thanks!

If you expect a European style experience, go elsewhere! Riad Malfa is a charming little place in the Medina of Marrakech. Beatrice, her team (special mention for Mohammed) and Simba the cheeky kitten will do whatever they can to make your stay enjoyable. The breakfasts are exceptional although when we were there the terrace was only really warm enough on the first morning. The ambience is exceptional.

Excellent stay at Riad Malfa, everything was perfect. The quiet location (close to all activities), the welcome (Beatrice is an exceptional host), the availability, the advice. The breakfasts and meals are tasty. The bedrooms are very clean. Great value for money.

Very positive, the Riad, which has a good location and is authentic and beautiful, the rooms very well equipped and decorated, good dining facilities, terrace and of course the service of its host Beatrice! Also, the welcome with tea and pastries, multiple details that make the difference and justify such a good review. In the morning, a good breakfast in the dining room or on the terrace, impeccable cleanliness and although we were not able to try their cuisine, some local women cook which I am sure must be totally accurate. Beatrice speaks little English but makes herself understood as best she can. Negative issues to mention are the tour operator - Miftah Tours - with whom you work, it is not recommended, we had a very bad experience with them on the excursion to the desert. Charming accommodation in every detail - the photos make it very clear... and careful service, highly recommended Riad Malfa!

The location of the accommodation is great, it is 5 minutes from the square and in a great area to eat something at the street sandwich stalls that are practically next door. Also, we recommend the buñuelos stand that is on the corner of the street, delicious! The room was clean and when we arrived although it was 2 in the morning they gave us a welcome tea with some pastries. The only bad thing is that being on the ground floor it was a bit dark and had no ventilation. Comfortable bed and space to put things. Breakfast is on the terrace and is super complete, the best of all we tried in Morocco. Trying honey is a must! The treatment was good, they speak Spanish and English and are very pleasant. The best? Simba, the riad's kitten.

I stayed in this riad in Marrakesh for a week, and it was a pleasant and well-kept stay. The area is quiet and peaceful, very close to the central square, but nevertheless there are no disturbing noises. Spacious and clean room, equipped with everything, good and plentiful breakfast. The guy Hamsa who works there is always helpful and kind, as are the owner and the guy who runs it. If you don't feel like going out, they organize a delicious Moroccan dinner on the terrace of the riad in a truly magical atmosphere. Super recommended!

We were very well received and installed. Room with air conditioning and private bathroom. Good and varied breakfast. Staff very available and helpful. There was, however, an unpleasant mishap with the taxi we had ordered for the buses. Otherwise, everything is great.
