Checked in late on Monday night and room looked fine at first glance. However, bathroom door doesn't lock (Rm 227) and the table between the two beds was not cleaned. It had spots, stains, and hair on it. My wife called down and Jared switched us right away. he came up and delivered our room keys to us. Next room was fine. beds were comfortable and breakfast was typical stuff you get. We liked this hotel option being that it's near the freeway. There is also an IHOP right in front of hotel. We didn't give 5 stars because we had to change rooms. Other than that, it was fine. We would stay here again.

First, let me say there was absolutely nothing wrong with our room. It was spotless, the bed was comfortable, everything worked just fine, and none of the furniture was chipped or worn. Overall, no problems with the actual room. That said, there were a few issues. First, and this is pretty important, there is a sign on the front door saying masks must be worn. There are plexi-glass shields at the front desk protecting employees and guests, and the person who checked us in (a very nice lady) was wearing her mask. All this effort and what happens? They let people without masks come in and stand around the lobby and at the front desk. After we got settled into our room, we left to get dinner and two men (probably in their 30s) were standing at the desk without masks. And when we were checking out there was a younger lady in the lobby with her kids, and she wasn’t wearing a mask. So everything they’ve done to protect people…the mask sign, the plexi-glass, hand sanitizer, etc. are all pretty useless if they’re not going to enforce the rules. Look, I know it’s uncomfortable to have to tell people to put on a mask; it’s a terrible position for someone to be in. But just because some people have arrogant entitlement issues doesn’t mean they should be allowed to break the rules and endanger other people. So, even though the room was perfect, this is part of what I’m basing my rating on. The next issue is more of an issue I have with IHG than this actual hotel. Since I booked the room through Priceline, I apparently won’t be getting my points. In fact, I checked and I haven’t gotten any points for the last three stays at IHG properties (even though they took my club number at check in). So I guess if I want my points I’m going to have to pay a higher rate? So tell me…what’s the incentive to be loyal to the brand? Points should be given based on room nights, not how much I pay. It’s not like the room was free. Besides, working with Priceline was IHG’s idea, not mine. If this is how they’re going to be I’ll have no problem staying at non-IHG properties in the future. Again, this is an issue I have with IHG, not this particular hotel or its employees. Would I recommend this hotel? As a facility, yes. But if you’re concerned about safety and points, you might look elsewhere. It’s really a shame.

Very nice and professional employees. Might need some upgrades but you pay for what you get.
