Superb location in the country. The Shepherds hut was warm and cosy and came with tea coffee hot chocolate and a small bottle of fresh milk in the fridge. Microwave was great for warming up my late super Highly recommended

We take our touring caravan here most years even though it’s only half an hour from home. Hannah and Debs have made this place so lovely can’t fault anything. Never stayed in the Shepherds huts or the apartment but seen inside and they are super. Met the new (to us) Warden and his Wife this time and what a super friendly couple they are , really helpful and good to have on hand in case of any difficulties. Prices are excellent and backed up with great facilities. Site is tranquil and access to the river for walks or canoeing. Shhhh don’t tell anyone in case it gets too popular.

looking for a campsite where you fiel at home from the moment you check in than this is the place to be. Proper toilets and shower, very nice gardens and beautiful and spacious spots for camping. Also the price is nice for a stay in North Norfolk

We spent an amazing weekend here, stayed in the log cabin which was spotless. The site is immaculate and the setting is perfect. Debs and Hannah couldn't have been more welcoming and the Friday night pizza was delicious. We hired a canoe and had a fab paddle into the town for a pub lunch. I'm already planning my next visit!

I was looking for somewhere to stay in March and after ruling out several hotels I came across this amazing place! Once I unloaded, a ridiculous amount for 1 night, I went for a walk along the river, accessible via a key padded gate and walked into March and back. I stayed in a shepherds hut for 1 night. I travel a lot for work, and feeling safe and comfortable is an absolute must when I’m away. The shepherds hut was an absolute delight. I was cosy, and felt very relaxed and safe. I was able to pop to Tesco which was a just a short drive away. Then was able to cook myself some food. There is a well equipped kitchen area with everything you need. The bed was large and comfortable, with plenty of pillows. The bedding smelt lush! I had brought a towel but there were towels in the hut, a lovely large bath towel which I used after my shower. There were tea and coffee, and even fresh milk in the fridge. I slept well, woke to bird song, opened the half door and had a relaxing leisurely breakfast before heading off to work. I didn’t want to leave! As a motorhome owner, I’ll be back with my husband to use the campsite. And am already looking forward to booking the shepherds hut again soon!
