ME Marbella

Our 5th time at this hotel and the reason we keep coming back is that it’s just fantastic. Travelled with our 12 year old son. Lovely room 416 overlooking the pool. We went for half board and the food was outstanding. Would say even better than we came in May. So much choice for breakfast and the staff can’t do enough for you. You can choose the option of lunch or dinner but mainly opted for lunch as we like to go out during the evening. Everyday we had fresh fish cooked for us and an endless choice of salad. Also seemed to be more options for the kids this time round… burgers, pizzas, pastas, fresh ice cream, chocolate. If the carbonara special is on then have it! It’s delicious! Perfect hotel… closing for a refurb in September and re-opening June 2025. Just hope they don’t change the family friendly concept and the food as they don’t need to. The kids club is fantastic I’m told and have daily activity’s for the kids. Staff just can’t do enough for you. Special mention to Domingo, Carlos and Josemy at the pool bar!! Yes it’s not a cheap hotel…. But if you have the half board option you can keep the price down and use it for some evening meals. Worth a walk into Puerto Banus though as so much going on and only a 10 minute walk. So many bars and restaurants. When we came in May the lunch was in Dom restaurant but we much prefer it when the lunch is in the buffet restaurant. I guess they only do this in peak holiday season. Even though the hotel was fully booked it never seemed busy. No rushing to get sunbeds in the morning!!!! Pool doesn’t open till 10am but then stays open till 7.30pm. Literally can’t wait to return when it re-opens next year!

We have just spent 6 nights in the Melia and cannot recommend it enough. We had the level access which is absolutely worth it. Drinks and snacks available from 10am to 10pm with a cocktail hour from 5pm til 7pm. Delicious snacks and plenty of soft and alcoholic drinks available. The cava was especially delicious! The breakfast’s are also very good with a very good selection of hot and cold options. The room was lovely, very spacious and immaculately clean and the staff were very helpful. The pool areas are very nice and again spotlessly clean. Plenty of sun beds available and umbrellas. Would definitely visit this hotel again.

Once was a time you could get a reasonably priced hotel in Puerto Banus but seemingly not any more! However having discovered the very fairly priced ME I will definitely be back. Walking distance right into the port, or walk the other way towards Marbella and lots of lovely beach restaurants. The hotel itself is clean and has a chilled but modern vibe. Only complaint was the set up for families which is two very small double beds, apparently the only option (as opposed to a proper bed for the adults and a sofa bed for the kids which is a better set up) so we didn’t all get a great sleep… bathrooms were a bit tired - but the food and drinks good and the location is the big selling point

We stayed at the Melia Banus in July for 1 night in a level room. The hotel looks nice and rooms are quite modern and have typical melia look. I recommend a level room so you have access to the lounge as well as a separate breakfast area which is more quite. The views of the rooms could be better as our room was facing a parking area for people going to the beach. The beach is a short walk of the hotel. Be aware that if you are coming by car you need to use the garage which costs extra as there are just a few free parking spaces in front of the hotel.

Beautiful hotel to relax and unwind…Lovely service upon arrival by Carmen/ Sergio & Amalia… Room service was great free champagne to the room. Breakfast was amazing, you have a view of the chef making an omelette 😋. Definitely will be coming back ! Gracias to the whole Front office team !

Came out for 5 days and the hotel complex was brilliant. I agree a refurbishment is on the horizon but that never stopped me from coming. The Level experience absolutely second to none open from 1200 til 2200. The staff accommodated every issue with ease fully satisfied with our trip loved the adult pool area.
