1. Out of all the accommodations we stayed in during our 10-day trip to Spain, it was the most expensive but the worst
2. I paid in advance (including breakfast), but I went to check-in, but I said there was no payment, and I stood there for over 30 minutes. At this time, it was around 9:30 p.m.
3. Reservation details + card details + receipts, etc. are printed and shown. The staff tried to resolve it with the reservation company, but it didn't go well. He said he was sorry and said to go to bed, got the key and went to the room (moved by car)
4. I received two keys, but both of them opened the door. My husband got in the car and went to the front desk again to get them, but in the meantime, another one was missing.
5. I have to go to breakfast the next day, but no one contacted me to see if it was resolved or not. Since the hotel reservation company settled with the hotel, they said to go eat.
6. On the 1st day, after breakfast, they asked me to pay, and they said it was included, so they said yes.
7. On the 2nd day, I was leaving after breakfast, but the staff chased me out and asked me to pay.
8. I'm sorry when I check out, nothing to say

Marbella is a very good hotel. It's a 5-minute walk from the beach and a 20-minute walk from the central area. It doesn't feel far away when you walk around and take pictures. The hotel environment is very beautiful. The gardens, swimming pools, and walkways are all very atmospheric. The rooms The furnishings are simple and shabby. The breakfast is very good. I bought food in the supermarket for dinner. The hotel also delivered tableware. It is very nice. The booked price includes 2400 per day early
Fantastic hotel and truly deserves its rating. Central location super clean and staff wonderful. Ultra modern and rooms great size with the most comfy beds. Stayed bed and breakfast. Fantastic choice of foods. Booked with TUI and very well priced. Nice few extras like DJ one afternoon and great guitarist one night. Don’t read all that about the traffic as the windows are pretty sound proof. We had great four days in PB and we will be back thanks all

First the negs; There were some poor electrics one socket was with wires showing and the balcony the same without light. The balcony was half fixed still no working light but no bare wires, the socket was fixed. So no balcony light. The sheets are thick and rough not light or soft and it was not nice as it was hot and I don't like to use air con but like a sheet on me. The lefts are unreliable. You can wait 5 minutes for one to take you up or down they just pass you though called and as I was on the 3rd floor and there are 7 (actually 8 as the breakfast floor is an extra floor between 0 and 1 called E) so I did not want to talk to roof terrace for pool area nor down for breakfast. My room was noisy as had a connecting door between me and the people next door no insulation from speaking at all. No coffee making facilities as no kettle or cups milk coffee tea in room. Safe needed money if wanted not self set code it was the key type and 3 euro per day which I did not want to spend so locked stuff in my case. The toilet seat moved when sat on. The shower was over bath and in the middle of the length of the bath not at the end yet they only provided a shower panel/screen to half way so you either got loads of water on floor or had to hold the shower and not have it on the holder really strange. The hand soap was horrid smelling. Breakfast was hot and miss with the eggs they usually were old. The melon likewise some days was soft on edges like out for hours or cut the day or two before. The sweet pastries were mostly mediocre and cheap tasting. I cannot comment on the meat I don't eat it. Now the pros: Location. Absolutely wonderful for beach and the old town centre and all the parks all on foot and good supermarket nearby Carrefour so no need for car. The balcony was nice for 2 people and looks down on the street with trees and birds and lovely sky at night. There are 4 free electricity sockets in the room. The reception staff are really nice and helpful and spoke good English. The roof terrace though had small pool was nice as the pool was covered and would be good off peak though unheated and there were plenty of umbrellas and loungers for use. No bar but you can buy from the bar on the floor E and take up. Wonderful sea view. They have included a long curved sloped entryway for pushchairs and wheelchair users to enter the building. The cleaning is of a high standard in the main. You get a floor clean once a week and daily bedmaking or towel changes as needed you just leave towel on floor if dirty. Plumbing very good and shower pressure and temperature hot or cold as wanted very good. I hope you find this helpful if so please vote so!

This is a lovely old hotel in a fairly quiet location surrounded by apartment blocks and only a couple of hundred meters from the seafront. The interior, although old, looks really beautiful and the apartments have good facilities including dishwasher and washing machine. However, the hotel, in my opinion, doesn’t make the best use of what it has. The brochures state it has two bars, which it has, but only one is used which is located in the middle of the restaurant and with only a couple of large sofas and armchairs gives the place little ambience. I have to agree with other reviewers the one of the biggest let downs is the reception, particularly one of the male receptionists/ manager who seemed to treat guests like an inconvenience, there was certainly no smiles or cheery welcome, no explanation of the hotels facilities. Just a request for passports, sign here and here. The room keys were plonked on the counter and that was it. He was most certainly a graduate of the Basil Faulty school of hotel management. The decor of the is restaurant is also very nice as are the staff but we only had one meal in it and both our meals were cold and had to be returned for reheating. Sadly, on our final morning in the hotel we had a 8 am pick up and discovered there was no water in the room which turned out to be the case throughout the hotel. We had an apology, but we had to leave without being able to freshen up. The pool and pool area is very pleasant and there is no problem with availability of beds with most residents respecting the No reserving policy. As my title suggests, it could be so much better with a little effort on the part of management.

This 3-star apartment hotel is better than many 4 stars hotels we have been in. The staff was kind and helpful and parking was available. Pool view from the room was nice and so was swimming in it. The room had nice furnishment and a possibility to cook for yourself. The lobby bar was also nice and pretty. Cleaning was good and the cleaning lady polite. The location was very convenient at the city center. Overall value for money was good. If we visit Marbella city center again, we will come back here!

Winter in Ola Alanda Club Marbella Stuff you should know - we spend a month here from November 2024. The single bedroom apartments are actually very nice, well equipped and reasonably spacious and though not quite as large as the photos may suggest, there is a very decent sized double bedroom (though the bed was two singles pushed together) a large bathroom with bidet, loo, handbasin and walk in shower, plus a kitchenette and comfortable sitting room/dining room with secure parking nearby for which there is a daily charge. In terms of the site locations, the single bedroomed apartments are up nearer to the hotel entrance and some face the parking space and garden, rather than the pool. Not the end of the world but worth knowing that you may stand more chance of a pool view with a double apartment, so do ask before booking if that is important. In terms of equipment; in addition to the aircon, there is a washing machine and drying rack as well as good size fridge/freezer, dishwasher, toaster, kettle, hob and microwave/grill and plenty of glasses, pans and plates etc. Regarding the open air pool: It is likely that only fans of wild swimming in English lakes would want to use the external pool at this time of year. It was however, advertised beforehand as open all year but this was not the case – however, the option of having the sun loungers to read by the pool was nice and the smaller indoor heated pool for a swim is a great alternative, plus there is a very decent and well-equipped gym. In terms of the hotel’s restaurant – we are unable to comment as we did not eat there, there were just too many other options! Within a 10 minute walk across the bridge over the A7, on either side of the road, you have almost every nationality of restaurant and bar available, plus a Carrefour and smaller supermarket, so you need not worry about being well fed. We especially loved the Dragon Chinese, which was excellent, the Nufluid Bar seemed to have attracted every Brit from a 5 mile radius for the food and music, the Steak bar, the Tapas bar near the Ferreteria across the road also seems to have a great pub atmosphere and best of all the Masala for a very tasty and beautifully served curry . Back at the apartment, the kitchenette also has everything you need to cook a decent meal. I should also mention that all of the staff we encountered were exceptionally friendly and helpful and that there is a nice bar outside the hotel restaurant, which has ‘Happy Hour’ at this time of year, with half price drinks at 4:30pm and the occasional entertainment organised. Some top tips: • Many of the TVs will have the older SCART sockets and not HDMI – so your Amazon Firestick won’t be of use, plus the existing sockets are often blocked by the TV mount. • The WiFi is very patchy…so suggest using your phone as a hotspot or some type of mobile dongle for internet use. 4G reception on Orange is pretty good and 5G also often available. In terms of getting out and about.

DDiscover41708342894We stayed a week in Obal urban Hotel and we had 10/10 experience. The staff were so helpful and pleasant and the housekeeping deserve a huge shoutout! The room we got was well appointed with plenty of hotel toiletries and towels. We had the most fantastic balcony overlooking orange square. We stayed for 7 nights half board. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of selection. Maybe we wouldn’t do half board if staying for a week again as there was lots of restaurants to chose from on Marbella. The 360 bar and pool was a great addition and the cocktails were delicious! The beach was a hop skip and jump away with the beds being 18€ a day for 2 beds and umbrella! We will return for sure! Room 502 10/10!

Always love our stay at LVM as staff are super friendly and rooms lovely, but we didn’t get the apartment we requested and was confirmed by management on booking, and didn’t think the matter was dealt with well when we queried it. So we felt a bit let down on this occasion. Also breakfast not as good as it was when we stayed the first couple times. Some of the fruit bit mouldy and one of the hot breakfast items had run out! Think management need to keep a check on it so it’s up standard. Lastly it would be nice to get a bottle of water provided in the fridge of the apartments and robes especially when 2 couples staying. Pretty basic items but what you’d expect in a hotel as nice as this. Don’t want the above to sound picky as we do love our holidays in the Old Town but LVM not as good as usual :((

AArp303This hotel does a really good job of capturing the “Hard Rock” vibe so if you’re into that you’ll enjoy your stay at this property. Lots of memorabilia dotted around, great music and some lovely touches around the hotel.
We stayed in a deluxe room which was small but furnished to a good standard with a very comfy bed. Bathroom was well equipped and the balcony was a decent size. Jukebox feature on the TV is excellent and allows you to get the party started before you go out or continue it after hours in your room. Having YouTube on the TV is handy too.
The pools were good, there’s 2 pretty large ones and they look great during the day and night.
The rooftop deck is quite chilled, it has a bar and an infinity pool with beds to suit everyone really, lots of variety so standard cushioned beds and lower body shaped beds. There are several “Bali beds” that come with a 150 Euro minimum spend. Sounds like alot but the food & drink isn’t cheap so can be done relatively easily if you plan to stay at the pool all day and have lunch. The pools are shallow but a good size and the infinity pool offers a brilliant view over the second pool area. The second pool area features a stage and DJ booth at the top of the pool and is louder. The pool parties that Hard Rock offer are held here during the day as well so bear that in mind when selecting your bed. There is an “Eden Cafe” in this area offering burgers and the like during the day and the main “Sessions” restaurant that serves breakfast and dinner too if you book half board.
We booked bed & breakfast so didn’t eat dinner at the property. We did have lunch on our first afternoon at the Eden cafe and it was very good. The breakfast offers an excellent selection & its tasty. They also have a musicians playing a different instrument each day on the outdoor terrace which is a nice touch.
The bar area in the lobby lacks atmosphere and is a little on the slow side to get a drink. The cocktails are good though and its worthwhile having a drink there, especially if a live band is on.
Service at the hotel was very good overall and we very much enjoyed our stay. The bellhops in particular are excellent. They provided us with a “courtesy room” on checkout day (we had a late flight) which was a nice touch after having checked out already and been out all day.
The location of the hotel was further out than we thought and required you to either walk through a large, unkept subway or walk down narrow busy roads with several hills. The subway route is best and takes around 15 mins to Porto Banus but is not ideal at night. We had no issues and saw no undesirables but I do think Hard Rock could do more to make that subway more inviting (clean it, add their branding, have music playing etc). I don’t think they own it but perhaps they should take ownership of how it looks at the very least as it could quite easily put some people off staying at the hotel.
The “Casino Marbella” is attached to the hotel. It’s a nice Casino but lacks atmosphere. You also need your passport to enter (I had to go back to the room) so bear that in mind too. There is a handy supermarket opposite the hotel that has a great selection of snacks, ice cream, toiletries, booze etc plus it’s really cheap. There’s a lovely little bar called “Park Lane Sports Bar” that is family run and really charming. The drinks are cheap and the people who run it are very friendly. The resident dog “Lolo” is also quite a character and really makes the bar. We also ate at a lovely little Spanish restaurant called “Noto” - the prawns, pizza and service was excellent.
There are more luxurious hotels to stay in Marbella and hotels in nicer locations but for a party vibe, good food & drink, strong pool decks and friendly service the Hard Rock is a solid choice.
Lovely spacious and clean apartment. Comfortable bed and good quality bedding. Well equipped throughout. In a very convenient location, a few minutes walk from public transport. Probably the only minor issue would be that there was a bit of noise from the upstairs apartment.
GGuest UserTruly wonderful hotel in the center of Marbella and the bed was really huge and very comfortable.. not to mention the swimming pool, I will definitely be back

My wife and I spent two nights at this hotel on September 1st and September 2nd. And our experience was way better than we expected. Among all the hotels in the area, this is one of the most affordable ones, and yet, they have the quality of service that most of the luxury hotels have. First, they have a parking lot, next to the hotel and it's pretty affordable per day. The hotel location is excellent, next to one of their main avenues and a few blocks away from the beach. Customer Service employees at the front desk were always nice and helpful, especially, Mr. Beltran. Regarding it's cleanliness, no complaint at all, the room was super clean and we enjoyed our stay.

WWEIThe hotel is luxurious and comfortable, the room is large and beautiful, and the bedding is very comfortable. The room has a balcony and you can see the golf course opposite. The breakfast is rich in variety. The overall feeling is very similar to those five-star hotels in Sanya.
GGuest UserThis is both on the main road near the old town are and short walk in from beach. So lots of transportation options and nice walk along the beach. It is a large lobby with shop, patio, bar and restaurant. My room was very large and the bathroom was huge. Great mattress. The TV program choices were great for Spanish speakers but almost nothing in English or French. No CNN, no BCC not Euro news. Good value and I would stay again.
GGuest UserTraveled with spouse and two young children. Second time visitor. Perfectly located. Friendly and responsive staff. A short walk through a lovely neighborhood to the beach, walkable to restaurants and the town, and car services plentiful. Easy food deliveries for lazy days, and we appreciate the ability to cook and do our own laundry. Massive pool with plenty of loungers. Rooms have oversized terraces with great views of the sea (and sometimes Africa). Has an older vibe but that is part of its charm. Shout-outs to Sonia and Rocio at reception, and Lyon at the bar.
GGuest UserThis is a pretty basic hotel, and the decor will not be to everyone's taste! However, the bed was comfortable, the room was large, there was a small balcony and there was bottled water. It was fine for a two-night stay in order to come and meet friends. The towels were pretty basic and I was slightly perplexed as to why there was only one chair on the outside patio of Room 206. There's also an interconnecting door in Room 206, which is probably useful for families but less useful in terms of hearing everything that's said in the next-door room. There is a restaurant next to the hotel (which we didn't try but looked fine, and was open for breakfast). We did try Masala Indian Restaurant one night, but it's not a place I need to go back to. The Carrefour supermarket is a ten-minute walk, as is the beach. The receptionist, Belina, was delightful.
