"🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 We had a wonderful stay at DoubleTree by Hilton Damai Laut Resort from 28–30 September 2025. The staff were warm and welcoming, and the resort itself is beautiful with serene views of the sea. At first, our room was close to the lobby with less privacy, but the team quickly arranged a room change to a higher floor with an amazing view. We were also pleasantly surprised with the thoughtful touches — a birthday cake and towel decoration for our son’s 9th birthday, which truly made our trip extra memorable. Our family enjoyed the facilities, and the kids especially loved the pool and beach. We would love to see more family-oriented activities for children in the future, but overall, the experience was excellent. Thank you to the DoubleTree Damai Laut team for making our family trip and our son’s birthday celebration so special. Highly recommended!"

"The ratings given are in the context relevant for a CHEAP BUDGET hotel. I have rated Hotel Lam Seng as GOOD overall for a CHEAP BUDGET hotel. Pantai Remis is a typical small Malaysian town where the different races live side-by-side and each goes about with their lives in relative harmony."

"Stayed for 2D1N on a weekday with my wife and 1-year-old baby. The room and hotel were satisfying, with a strategic location—walking distance to many restaurants, a Speedmart, and Lumut Waterfront. However, the beach was not suitable for swimming due to oil and dirt. The breakfast buffet was also not great. That said, I still think this is one of the best hotels available in Lumut, and I would consider staying here again."

"Surprisingly nice bathroom, lighting is good, and nothing to complain about for the budget price. Great location as it is just across the road from the famous Cheong Via Gong Plian - ( Pie ), I bought 30 pieces of them, and I queue was for 30 mins to get it ."

"The room was comfortable and well-equipped. However, unlike before, the hotel no longer offers free dedicated parking for guests. Guests now have to purchase parking coupons on the spot to avoid getting fined. Otherwise, everything was perfect for me. I would definitely stay here again if I'm in my hometown for business or Eid celebrations. Thank you."

"The room is very humble but has the basic necessities such as body shower, air cond, towels etc but not toothbrush and knowing it is a budget hotel, then just acceptable. Not oku friendly as dont have lift. HOWEVER, the view in front of the hotel is INSANEEEE. Near the jetty for going to pangkor which is a pluss. Very worth the price! Shall book back if coming again"

"This hotel is in a great location in Sitiawan, the rooms are big and clean! The front desk ladies and handsome guys are very enthusiastic, and they are all Chinese (from Fujian), so there is no problem communicating in Chinese! The hotel is very safe. The room service staff will not open the door to enter the room unless you actively request to clean the room after checking in! The Indian restaurant opposite the hotel downstairs is very unique, delicious and not expensive; the Binbin Bak Kut Teh restaurant diagonally opposite downstairs is even better. The Bak Kut Teh with fried dough sticks is delicious and authentic, and the stewed pork kidney is also very unique! There is also a 711 convenience store not far from this restaurant, which is very convenient for buying some travel supplies. Sitiawan Hotel is highly recommended!"

However, the hotel staff contacted me immediately after making the reservation and gave me detailed information such as tourist information, which was very helpful.
