Old and has a little bit creepy vibe. Not so friendly receptionist when we arrive. Felt safer since the building has security and the ambiance is convivial as frontyard is spacious.

The place has nostalgia feels like I am in the old Manila. They have a free hot and cold water which is so essential. The place is conveniently located nearby fast food areas and most specially Robinson's mall.

The place is fine, the staff are approachable but the transportation, the food around the area are so expensive. I'd prefer to walk than pay almost a hundred peso just to go nearby place.

The place was accessible to our party sonit was the most suitable place to book. Staff were sometimes nowhere to be found. We waited for a fee minutes to get our key since it was left in the front dest only to find out that it was right infront of us the whole time.

not worth the price

I went there early in the morning. There is no check-in attendant. Security. Three hours later, they blocked me and I couldn't even go inside. An employee came and checked in. I went in at 6 in the morning. I was shocked to see roaches running around with the fan running. It was so hot, I couldn't do it. I couldn't come so I showed up at 10th. There will be no separation again. Trip.com is. Don't introduce me like this. My life is the worst

Like in a movie where the hero stays in an old Asian hotel - cool interiors with wood trim and terrible amenities in the room - the plumbing is leaking, there is no air conditioning, and there is not much else, only the surroundings are there)

When I went to the hotel, I found that it did not match what I had imagined. There was a big gap, but the hotel checked in quickly and the staff were all good. If all aspects of the hotel were refurbished or replaced, the feeling of staying in the hotel would be more ideal

The room facilities are outdated, there is no air conditioning, it is very stuffy, and the ventilation performance is insufficient.

Old Manila feels of heritage and simplicity. The rooms are just right for travelers on a tight budget or transient guests. If you plan to stay in Manila longer without spending too much then this is the perfect solution for you. There are also good places to eat around the hotel at affordable prices plus it is close to a shopping mall, hospital and public transportation so you don't have to worry.

We were hanging out with highschool friends at a favorite restobar in Manila when the typhoon struck and we decided to get a hotel room nearby. Malate Pensionne in Malate provided cozy rooms for us to stay in at a very friendly price. Perfect for budget and transient travelers.
