Hotels Near Kilburn Building in Manchester

Two night weekend stay, it's a fab hotel in a great location, the entire of the City Centre is within easy walking distance, easier than driving or waiting for an Uber! Easy parking on St James St and at a slightly discounted rate for hotel guests. The hotel is really modern with really inviting lobby and spacious rooms. However whilst the rooms are spacious, they are quite outdated compared the modern lobby and communal areas. The rooms really need a bit of an uplift, in terms of style and furniture, it is very 80's style wooden features, which is fine it just wasn't in-keeping with the rest of the hotel. Certainly didn't effect our stay and would definitely stay again, just strange to open the door to a nit of a time machine.

The hotel/bar & restaurant (Ibis & Jamboree) are my weekly watering hole! Lovely staff, lovely drinks and a fantastic atmosphere! If you’re staying in Manchester, make sure you get yourself here and ask for Preston, he’ll sort you out!

My husband and I came to the hotel on Friday 7/10/2022 room 1216 I honestly couldn't say anything negative about this hotel . The moment we walked in Georgia and neelam on reception greeted us warmly and explained everything. Once we settled in we came back to the bar to enjoy the amazing range of cocktails made by Gabriel :) the bar staff were all amazing from the manager phoebe to Pablo and andree they couldn't do more to make you feel welcome . Our room did have a view of the construction but we expected that as we are in the middle of Manchester and it was not a problem at all . The breakfast was beautiful unfortunately I didn't get the gentleman's name who was clearing the tables but he was so nice lastly I would like to give mo from housekeeping a massive shout out our room was spotless and he even gave me a kit kat 😀 what stands out about this hotel is the staff and I mean all the staff shine they all greet you with smiles and I know how hard that can be for a full shift 😀 can't wait to come back thank you

Anyway, the location is good. Not to mention the surrounding luxury residential areas, convenient supermarkets, fashionable restaurants, I am very satisfied. In the room, the laundry with integrated washing and drying is wonderful, and it will be difficult to find a better hotel.

Glad to have free WiFi in the hotel and self help coffee at the lobby area, Room rate was slightly too high for asian travelers as compare to the small room size, Suggest adding more hooks and shelves on the walls, may add a big curtain between the bathroom zone and bed zone to increase privacy, Staff not very familiar with the nearby environment such as supermarket or 24 hrs convenient stores, maps for guests at their reception desk may be considered

Location and value for money are the reason we booked, plus that fact we spent most of the time out of the room. shower room is a good size, though the heat of the water does not need to exceed 40, for the sake of the environment. We had a basement room, bigger that other rooms apparently. yet gap between the end of the bed and the wall is tiny need to walk sideways to spend a penny at night. staff at reception knowledgeable of the surroundings.

I spent 21 days at this Hilton whilst awaiting my apartment to be ready. The incredibly hospitable staff made the stay a 4/5. Mo the general manager is a top class human as well as a collaborative, uplifting manager. The hotel ac was constantly disrupted, likely due to the unprecedented level of climate change weather, this year. The front desk staff were ready and willing to help with anything I needed. They are mostly 20 somethings that by nature enjoy genuinely helping people. Taren ”consummate professional”, Pier ” my fav Italian”, Igor ”the hustler”, Abbie ”comforting smile”, Demi ”sweetest person”, Winnie ”wish I could adopt her”, Faz ”the kindest human ever”, Lianna ”gets it done - even without a business center”, Serena ”kind and quick”, Jordan ”kind smile” and Patrick ”the mix master”, I would ike to publically thank each of these people for: providing fans in a pinch, providing business center services with0ut a business center, helping with a hot coffee (my fault) incident, suggestions for delicious BRITISH FOOD (?!@$!?), ideas on how to expedite my Manc assimilation. The maid staff were happy to provide extra towels and coffee creamers... they respected privacy and would leave supplies outside of our door unsolicited when we hung our do not disturb sign out... the list goes on and on. This is a wonderful Hampton that should be a model for all of the rest. I've been to a lot of them! I am forever grateful to the kind people here. They would have received 5 stars if the ac worked and the breakfast was changed up a bit. But @HiltonHotels needs to give everyone here a raise.

I stayed at the Milton last night the 22nd and it was excellent. I had read the reviews and was a bot concerned by them so approached the entrance with caution. Its clear the building used to be an office block and home to the DHSS. I was directed to the hotel reception where the pleasant surprises began clean airy and a very efficient and welcoming receptionist. Then onto the room which medium sized was warm the bed comfortable and the shower powerful . I ate in the bar and had a well cooked meal and a beer . Next morning breakfast was simply incredible value the selection was large the coffee good and the produce used a step up. All the staff I interacted with were friendly and helpful . Its cheap but its great

Located 2 minutes walk from the Tram stop, you can get directly into the centre of Manchester in 45 minutes so perfect quiet place if you are going to an event like I was. The hotel is brand new and located opposite a leisure park of shops, restaurants and a cinema. The hotel was actually spectacular for a town centre hotel, modern and bright. The rooms were very nice well kitted out with mod cons. As a hilton Honors diamond member I was not offered a free upgrade, nor a late check out after 2pm as they said the house keeping leave at 3pm. Overall it’s a nice hotel, but I would not recommend it for hilton Honors members as the benefits are very limited.

Really nice decor and relaxed bar space. Nice rooms with bottled water by the bed and rainmaker cleaning utensils. Great selection of drinks behind the bar. Really friendly staff - our night team was Reece and Vicky and they accommodated us beautifully. Also I totally whipped whipped chicken at pool in the bar!
