We were there from the 9th to 13th of June. It was a beautiful experience, the staff were really professional, welcoming and very helpful. They have us free cake for our honeymoon! So nice! Our room was also decorated thanks to Sammy the butler who organized all these. Guys patronize this hotel! The rooms are clean and your sheets are changed daily, wow! We also loved that the animation team has activities going on after dinner, you can't be bored there. I highly recommend.

Overall, this hotel was great. The airport transfer was very smooth and reasonably priced at 2300 ksh. The room is very nice (great balcony, large bed, and large bathroom). Highly recommend dining at Onda Beach Grill (their tasting menu with the ocean treasure boat was some of the best food I’ve had in Africa). The staff was very nice and helpful. Highly recommend speaking to the concierge, John, when he is available. The visit to Hell’s Kitchen was safe, well-organized, and a lot of fun. Thank you for the hospitality.

We spent 10 days at Sandies Tropical Village during our honeymoon, and it was great! The village has a LOT of amenities, and the food was so good that we personally complimented the chef! Moreover, our vacation wouldn't have been the same without John, Pauline, and Pinah from the animation staff. From the first day, they were incredibly supportive, organizing activities, taking us on walks, and sharing many things about Kenya and Malindi. With them at Sandies, we found not only three incredible people but also friends!

We have stayed in the hotel with my wife and 2 daughters for a week. I was in Kenya for 2 weeks in total, with 1st one in Diani resort hotel, then in 2 Lodges during Safari and 1 overnight stay in Mombasa. The Sandies was the best of them all and beaten them in every aspect. The staff was wonderful and helpful, the drinks were awesome in quality and quantity, the food was delicious and always keeping a variety of cuisines. The terrain, rooms, beach were clean and the staff was looking after those daily, no matter what the weather was. Staff always smiling both at the reception and at the dining area. The real cherry on the top of it all was the animation personnel. Both John and Pauline were just amazing. They were organising various events so we could spend the time and be involved in different activities. I'll definately advise the hotel to all my friends that will be planning to visit north shore of Kenya. If I ever visit Kenya again, it will be the place to stay. The only thing I did not appreciated was that some of the guests were treating staff as "servants" and management were not reacting on such behaviour. Something unimaginable in Europe.

We booked on half-board for 5 days and 4 nights but didn't like the hotel not offering a drink not even water during buffet. The management kept on promising to book into it every evening until our stay was over. Service and other anenities okay

The staff are polite and kind. Received well at the reception, and very well taken care of. Nothing but the best services. Keep the good job up, especially Samson at the reception. The food was good and enough, a variety to choose from. They provided enough water all over the hotel.

the best animations in the world, I have never met such cool animators as Paulina and John in any hotel. The animators at the hotel are very professional, open and very helpful. they do all the work in the hotel. Thank you for such a wonderful stay, delicious food, great rooms

Animatora Pauline and John have a great contact with guests and are very profesionall. They organize a lot of games. They speak good English. One negative opinion is not important because they are great and work to the best ability. We are pleased with our stay. We recommend it to everyone.
