Makkah Clock Royal Tower, A Fairmont Hotel
4.6/5132 Reviews
I arrived to the hotel at 10 and the lady in the reception told us to go and do the Omra and come back to get the rooms, I am a gold Fairmont member which was treated badly. We came back at 2:30 and noticed that the rooms are not ready and have been told that the check in time is 4PM, however before one day of arrival they called me to ask me what time do I want the room to be ready. Each customer receptionist was directing me to another where this wasn’t practical at all, image I was awake more than 12 hours and at the end of the day each on just throws me. Then after having a fight we got the rooms finally, I get to know that one of the rooms is full of insects and the other room is noisy from the neighbors. When I called to tell the reception after several fights they changed both rooms, we had to wait more than 15 minutes for the escalators. Overall my experience with this hotel is really baaaaaaad and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. The only positive point was that it’s few steps to the Haram other than that nothing is worth it at all, even when you speak to someone from the receptionist they don’t reply as of they don’t listen and in my case I am a gold member plus trip advisor level 6, how if I was a normal guest what would happen. They made my day very hard and miserable
M Hotel Al Dana Makkah by Millennium
4.1/565 Reviews
I have to say that I am enjoying my stay in M Al Dana by Millennium. The location is very nice, less than 10 min. By bus which the hotel is providing 24 hrs every 30 min. To/from Haram, and also many restaurant and big super market around the hotel. The room is spacious and has everything you need, such as safe box, iron and ironing table, tea and coffee tray..etc. The staff are very friendly and helpful, special thanks for Azza who is very professional and thanks for her warm welcoming. They have restaurant and food options which I didn't try.

Jumeirah Jabal Omar Makkah
4.7/548 Reviews
Just came back from a 6night stay and have to say the hotel is amazing. Jabal Omar being our choice of location for visiting the haraam we were in 2 minds wether to go for Jumeira or the other chains on this ***** - in the end we opted for Jumeira as they are new and standards are set high to live up to their reputation. From check in to check out we have no complaints. We opted for a superior haram view room and were housed on the 17th floor (1706) tower 2 - the room was spotless which was down to the housekeeping team especially Mr Rashid Alam who was always at hand. Breakfast spread was the best we’ve had - quality stands out on every dish. We will definitely be staying here again - from check in to check out we have no complaints as everything was spot on.
