An amazing stay..hotel very near to women gate (16-17) and male gate (17-18)..not to far from gate 25 (women’s raudhah)..
Very convenient stay and would recommend to other travelers..worth for money!
Very nice hotel, good location. And all staff are really helpful. Breakfast also awsome there are many food local and international. Very recommended hotel if you want to perform umrah since its very close to haram you can just walk down the hotel to haram within 5 minutes only.
The room was never cleaned unless requested. It seems they do it on purpose because they want a tip. The five of us stayed there for five days, and for the last two days, we didn't request any cleaning, resulting in the trash piling up, which we just placed in front of the room
My stay at Swissôtel Al Makkah was exceptional. Located just steps away from the Holy Kaaba, the hotel offered stunning views and unparalleled convenience for prayer. The rooms were spacious and elegantly furnished, providing a comfortable retreat after long days. The staff's hospitality was outstanding, making my pilgrimage experience truly memorable and peaceful.
The location of the hotel was excellent, very close to Haram. The service was really fast and efficient. The rooms although, were slightly old and felt used and not as “clean” as some of the other clock tower hotel rooms. Also the amenities in the bathroom can be improved by adding more like toothbrush toothpaste were not included which we expected. Also there was no blow drier or oven in the room to heat up food items. These improvements can lead to a better experience and for us to book again with Pullman Zamzam.
First of all, although it is mentioned as a five star hotel, I did not feel it was. Rather, I would rate this as a four star hotel based on my own experience.
I stayed in a deluxe room(91330)
Good things:
-Rooms were super clean
-nicely designed toilet with walk in shower, super clean
-shampoo,conditioner, bath gel, hand wash, body lotions are provided in adequate amounts
-hot and cold water options
-refrigerator
-plenty storage
-good wifi
-good air conditioning
-helpful staffs
-tea/coffee
-bed side usb charger
-TV
-plenty of door entry cards
-prompt check in and check out
-transport bus to kaaba
-lots of restaurants although a bit expensive
Things could be added/ improved:
-no ironing appliances
-No toothpaste or tooth brush
-shuttle service does not directly go to Kaaba. The first bus takes you to a bus depot, The second bus from there will take you to kaaba. This could be tricky when coming back. One night I stayed there until midnight and after coming out I went to the wrong bus stoppage and ended up going to another part of the city
People on the bus do not know english so they could not help. I ended up taking a taxi to the hotel as I had no energy to go back, walk and find the right bus. The right bus stand is called ”Kudai” or something similar. Alternatively you could come out through gate 84-90 and walk to the hotel which takes 20-25 minute.
It’s a very nice hotel. Walking distance to gate 79 (10 minutes) which leads directly to the Kaaba.
There’s two towers, 1 & 2, both have a great breakfast.
There’s two restaurants in tower 2. There’s a cafe which can make birthday cake if you so wish.
There’s a nice prayer room inside the hotel.
I would highly recommend this hotel.
It was amazing. I am strongly recommend it for everyone who want cleaning.
Very Good

Outstanding
GGuest UserWe stayed at the Jumeirah for our Umrah trip. Our room was fantastic but we were so appalled by the dining service and quality of food.
At breakfast, the service is terrible. The staff are unfriendly and unhelpful and the people behind the live food stations need to smile like the gentleman on the egg station. I asked 5 times for a karak chai from the start of entering the breakfast until the end; I was there for 1.5 hours and every single person I asked was unable to get me the karak. They kept ignoring and disappearing. In the end I had to remind the waiters how long I had been waiting only to be told it had run out. I was waiting for a very long time just to be told this! In the end someone did get me the karak but it was so hard to just ask for something so simple.
Also every day at breakfast the tables are not set out with the cuttlery and napkins missing. Every time I ask someone for some cutlery as there isn’t any on the table and it doesn’t get replaced but again we are always ignored and have many times helped ourselves to cutlery from other tables or the station where staff store the cutlery.
We got very tired of the service here and it definitely doesn’t live up to the standards of other 5 star hotels (except the hotel and room itself). The staff are very unhelpful and the kitchen staff are awful. Having come from a hospitality background, there needs to be more structure in your kitchen and managers need to stop prioritising specific tables. All guests should be treated the same.
We came to the buffet dinner and we’re looking forward to a lovely meal however the food was absolutely awful quality. The lamb shoulder was so over cooked and dry. We have never tasted anything quite like it. I have attached a picture to show the quality. It was inedible.
There were literally no staff at any of the service stations. We wanted some of the grilled meat and chicken and we had searched for someone to serve it to us and he took one handful of it and put it on our plates. That is not an adequate protein portion. The portion was enough to fit a tablespoon of meat. The options were so poor. Again, no table service and no napkins and cutlery. We had to keep asking for things that should have been there. We didn’t even have water bottles and the table next to us had 5 water bottles for 2 people. We were really looking forward to the dinner but it was the worst buffet we have been to for a five star hotel. Nothing was fresh and the dessert selection was terrible too. Definitely nothing 5 star about it. The pastry was old and stale and very sweet without any flavour. It’s such a shame at such a high price which does not reflect any quality at all.
We were so disappointed with the stay. We were hoping to return later this year with our family but we will have to find another hotel as this is hotel is not at the standard to bring our family to. Your location, decor, room size are amazing but your customer service and quality of food really lets you down. It is such a shame as we were really looking forward to staying here again.
Best,
Umar Raza
HhcahcaThe breakfast is ok, because I have lived before, so I know it is not as good as before, the rooms are clean, and the waiters are good, but the bar is really difficult to communicate, can I study English seriously? I feel like they don’t understand if you hurry up hahaha
GGuest UserClean near the haram and close of market nice foods and really the staff they are supper and the Egyptian manager in breakfast M floor he is so kind and smiling 24 /7
SSoultravelerI had a lovely stay, they let me check in an hour early and the staff was super helpful and friendly. The breakfast buffet was also delicious, one has alot of options to choose from. Moreover the room was very clean! And they even helped me with booking taxis every time i asked! The best part you have an amazing Haram view from the breakfast place, and its only 10 minutes walk to Haram!!
MMoonyhoneyIt was good stay with my family. Very near to the Haram and there is mall connecting to the hotel. Friendly staff and helpful. Clean rooms but the service was slow. Highly recommended.
SSmileeeI had the pleasure of staying at Violet Hotel in Makkah, Saudi Arabia, and I wanted to share my experience with everyone considering a trip to this holy city.
First, the location is absolutely fantastic. The hotel is situated just a short distance from the Haram, making it incredibly convenient for performing prayers and attending religious duties. The view from my room offered a beautiful sight of the surroundings, providing a serene feel which added to my spiritual journey.
The staff at Violet Hotel deserve special mention. From the moment I checked in, they were incredibly welcoming and accommodating. They went out of their way to make sure my stay was comfortable and hassle-free. The concierge service was particularly helpful in assisting me with local transportation and offering advice on places to visit.
The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-maintained. I appreciated the modern amenities like free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs, and a fully-stocked minibar. The bed was very comfortable, making it easy to get some much-needed rest after long days of prayers and exploration. The housekeeping staff did an excellent job, ensuring the room was spotless each day.
One of the highlights of my stay was the hotel's dining options. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of choices, from local Saudi dishes to international fare, all prepared with fresh ingredients. I also dined at the in-house restaurant for dinner a couple of times, and the meals were absolutely delightful.
In terms of facilities, the Violet Hotel offers several amenities that enhance the guest experience. There is a well-equipped fitness center, which I found extremely beneficial to keep up with my exercise routine. The business center also came in handy as I needed to catch up on some work during my stay.
Overall, my experience at Violet Hotel was exceptional. Whether you are visiting Makkah for a spiritual pilgrimage or just to explore the city, I highly recommend staying here. The combination of its prime location, excellent service, comfortable accommodations, and fantastic dining options make it a great choice for any traveler.
Hhani hussainLocation is NOT ideal for pilgrims. Although shuttle to the grand mosque is provided, what they didn’t inform in the booking sites was guests needed to take TWO buses to get the Grand Mosque. So guests have to factor in the shuttle times, the crazy mad crowd waiting at Jamarat the bus terminal (this crowd includes non-hotel guests). Because of the location also, it was very hard to get Uber, and i missed my train!! taxis are expensive!
Room was nice. Bed super comfy - the comfiest i have slept in. But no coffee was provided. Only tea.
GGuest UserCheck inn time was bit long. Excellent Property with Normal Design. Toilets are too small, which I received. Far From Haram, Need long waiting for bus and long walk to attend worship. cleanliness are good.
IIqra SMy stay at Worth Elite Hotel during my trip to Makkah was amazing. The overall experience was decent, there are a few aspects worth noting for future travelers.
The hotel itself is modern, with clean and comfortable rooms that provided a peaceful place to rest after long days at the holy sites. The staff were courteous and accommodating, always willing to help with any requests. The service, though not exceptional, was reliable, and the housekeeping staff ensured that the rooms were well-maintained throughout my stay.
One of the standout aspects is the surrounding area. There are several amazing hotels nearby that offer a variety of dining and shopping options, which added a great deal of convenience during my stay. The proximity to these amenities definitely made it easier to find good restaurants and places to explore.
However, the one challenge I encountered was the location of the hotel itself. It was a bit difficult to find, especially for first-time visitors, as it’s tucked away from the main roads. Even with GPS, I found it a little confusing to navigate, so I recommend planning your route in advance.
From Hotel to Masjid-Al-Haram it’s 7min walk, which is worth it. However, if you are extremely tired from walking then it’s bit tough. Hotel doesn’t provide shuttle and the taxi is bit expensive.
Despite the minor location issue, Worth Elite Hotel offers a comfortable stay with helpful staff and great options nearby, making it a solid choice for travelers to Makkah.
