Our stay at the Grand Coloane Resort was the peaceful escape we were craving. Perched on a mountainside, love the stunning vistas of Hac Sa Beach from our private balcony—it felt a world away from Macau's bustling casinos. The colonial charm is real, but we loved the modern comforts in our spacious room.
We made full use of the amazing facilities; the pools were a highlight. A special shout-out to the incredible staff—from the moment we booked to the attentive housekeeping, everyone made us feel so welcome; Sai, Victor and our housekeeper at Room 509, you made our birthday celebration truly special. The breakfast buffet is an absolute must, with a great mix of international and local dishes.
You might notice a few signs of its age, but we felt it only added to the character. It’s the perfect blend of relaxation and activity, and we’re already dreaming of going back.
Decent place for stress reduction. Watched sunset and listened to sounds of waves in the balcony. Friendly staff makes one feel at home. Cosy in-house atmosphere, Beautiful gardening and swimming poolside facilities allow one's relaxation and revival. Nice breakfast in the comfortable dining hall.. Public transport is easy to reach the town, 10 min to Coloane, 30min to Taipao and 45 min to Macau by bus. Recommended for the physically capable.
Without lift, accessibility may have to be considered.
Bath tub deep, hv to be cautious for the smaller sized guests.
When I arrived, they said our room not ready due to the film producer haven't checked out. Room only available 6pm. They are very polite and said will give discounts for my stay. It's cool when I return at 6pm so they made us ginger tea Good location, recommended for those prefer not crowded.

Good service, good environment, all sightseeing spot in walking distance. I love the infinity pool, not too big but enough. We can spend a morning in hotel and then slow walk around. Hotel just above Lafayette Galleries, so you can shopping even in bad weather. B1 have a big super market, very convenient. Wine is on promotion ^^.
Fireworks Festival is coming, remember to book a room tourist tower view.
YOHO HOTEL STAYCATION
24-26 May2025
Lisa check in
Claro bellboy
This staycation was my gift to my bff from USA 🇺🇸, one of comedian artist from Philippines, Ms. Jacqueline Oda.
And so I am excited to share details about her amazing staycation in Yoho Treasure Hotel. From the moment we arrived, the service was absolutely fantastic.
As soon as we arrived to the hotel, the bellboy named Claro (as usual) greeted us warmly and promptly took care of our luggage. He was so friendly and efficient - it really set the tone for our stay.
The check-in process with Lisa at the front desk was a breeze. She was incredibly welcoming and helpful, answering all of our questions about the hotel's amenities and making sure we had everything we needed.
Our room was spacious and luxurious, with a beautiful view overlooking the beauty of Macau (Hotel Lisboa and Grand Lisboa Hotel)
Overall, our staycation at the Yoho Treasure Hotel was an absolute delight. The combination of the elegant accommodations and exceptional service from the staff (shout out to Claro, Lisa) we won't forget. I'd highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and relaxing getaway in Macau.
P. S.
They also prepared suprise to my friend who celebrated her birthday.
Traveling solo with two children, I placed a high priority on transportation. From the airport, you can take the Grand Lisboa shuttle. The two hotels (Grand Lisboa and Lisboa Hotel) are actually just separated by a narrow street, so you don't have to worry about walking long distances. I had pre-booked the complimentary airport pick-up service. The driver was incredibly enthusiastic, helped with our luggage, and even introduced the hotel's various services – truly an outstanding experience. When it was time to leave, I also arranged a car through the front desk to take us to the Taipa Ferry Terminal. I found the hotel's cleanliness and facilities to be excellent. As it's an older hotel, the decor has a classic 'old money' charm. They even proactively upgraded our room for free when they saw I was traveling with two children. The Wi-Fi, power outlets, toiletries, and complimentary beverages were all top-notch – truly hassle-free. Right downstairs from the hotel is a very large bus station, offering excellent connectivity. There were also incredibly helpful guides at the station who assisted us in scanning QR codes with WeChat or Alipay to register for the local transport pass, making getting around absolutely hassle-free. Nearby attractions, such as the Ruins of St. Paul's, are wonderfully uncrowded if you visit before 8:30 AM, allowing you to easily avoid the peak tourist rush. All in all, my stay at the Lisboa Hotel truly made this trip a fantastic experience!
I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Macau, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish.
First and foremost, the staff truly made our stay memorable. Michelle, in particular, was outstanding. Her attentiveness and genuine care for our needs enhanced our experience significantly. She went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcomed and comfortable throughout our visit.
One of the lovely surprises during our stay was the thoughtful thank-you card and a little gift for my bambino. It was such a heartwarming gesture that made us feel special and appreciated, adding a personal touch that we will always remember.
We also indulged in the afternoon tea service in our room, which was set up beautifully. The atmosphere was both nice and romantic, creating the perfect backdrop for our tea time. The staff who organized this were incredibly thoughtful, ensuring that every detail was just right.
The room itself was a haven of comfort. It was not only beautifully appointed, but the view was absolutely breathtaking. Waking up to such stunning scenery in the morning was a highlight of our stay.
Lastly, the hotel's location is incredibly convenient. It is within walking distance of local restaurants and parks, making it easy for us to explore the area and find fun activities for our child to enjoy.
However, the only downside I noticed was that some of the cutlery, specifically the knives and forks, seemed a bit old and worn out. While the overall dining experience was delightful, a refresh of these items could elevate the dining experience even further.
Overall, my stay at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Macau was nothing short of fantastic. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and memorable experience. Thank you, Mandarin Oriental, for an unforgettable vacation!
This was my second stay at Wynn, and the experience was a bit disappointing. I arrived at 1:30 PM to check in, but was told rooms wouldn't be ready until 3:00 PM. When I returned at 3:10 PM, the room still hadn't been cleaned, and I eventually only got into my room closer to 4:00 PM. During check-in, I was asked if I preferred a smoking room, which I confirmed. However, when I received my room key, I was told the reservation notes indicated a non-smoking room, which was quite frustrating. On a different note, the mini-bar drinks in the room are advertised as complimentary. However, there's a small print notice at the bottom stating that if any item is removed for more than 60 seconds, it will be automatically charged to the room.
One of the most iconic buildings in Asian (one of the ugliest too??) with a great view over the lake from the room. A lot of options for foodies and the food quality was high. Service was good even before the holiday. However, if you are looking for a relaxing and zen holiday, this would not be ideal. The lobby is always packed; it looks like a train station. The interior design of the room... I am not capable of appreciating it (yet). Love the in-room steam shower very much.
Nice! This time, the front desk upgraded me to a family room, which had a much more spacious bed and was located on a non-smoking floor. They now offer shuttle buses from the Grand Emperor to both the Barrier Gate and Cotai, making travel incredibly convenient. It's particularly handy for visiting Rua da Felicidade and Senado Square, both less than a 10-minute walk away.
