The front desk staff are very warm and friendly, and the room is okay, but it doesn't make sense that there is no air conditioning in summer. The hotel is in a great location, in the center of Lucerne. The breakfast provided by the hotel is not bad, and free (unlimited) tea and coffee are provided at other times. Generally speaking, it is acceptable.

We stayed one night in the Hotel Luzernhof Annex. Stupidly we put my jewellery in a location in the room that we felt would be a good hiding place - it was so good we forgot about it when we departed early the next morning. Much to my dismay I didn't realise until we were in the UK awaiting our flight home. An email later, my little jewellery bag was in the safe hands of the hotel staff who went and retrieved it from our room. The lovely staff then posted it to another family member in Germany. I am so grateful for their kindness and attentiveness to our stressful (self inflicted) situation. Their honesty and quickness of action brought much comfort to me as the items held great sentimental & irreplaceable value. Thank you to all involved. The room in the annex was clean, comfortable, spacious, ideally situated and a great price. There were plenty of food options nearby. Although it had a shared bathroom, it was super clean and provided all that we needed. My sincere thanks to the Hotel Luzernhof.

Friendly Staff: The staff were generally friendly and polite. When I arrived at the hotel earlier than the check-in time, the staff provided space for storing my luggage.
Comfortable Accommodations: The room I stayed in was generally comfortable and clean, providing a decent level of comfort during my stay. However, there were a few minor maintenance issues that could be addressed, such as the brightness of the light. Also, the spray at the toilet did not function properly.
The dining options at the hotel were satisfactory. While the meals I had were tasty, I felt that there could have been a bit more variety in the menu offerings, especially for guests staying for an extended period.

The hotel is very close to No. 21 station, the surrounding environment is very good, and the scenery is beautiful; the temperature in the room cannot be controlled independently, and I was awake in the morning two days. When I asked the front desk, it said that the fresh air system was broken and only cool breeze came out; the mattress was very comfortable; Breakfast is average.

The Staff was very friendly, one of them was Kevin (I Think), and also two other ladies also on the desk was very helpful in guiding us regarding our travel. We stayed for 3 days and the whole concept of the Hotel was different. We had an infant with us and wanted to change the room we were allotted and they readily agreed and luckily they had one bigger room with king size bed to accommodate them. The breakfast was regular and most importantly the staff being very nice and helpful, which has made an impression on us as this was the first time we traveled to this city. For the amount you pay for this Hotel in Lucerne, it's certainly very cheap for the services you get. It's based on a Theme so most of the rooms have bunker beds so even children would love it. Not much space inside the room or shelves to keep stuff. But then its a budget Hotel. Would stay again if I visit this city again. Its 8 minutes walk from the Station.

Overall the hotel is clean and re-newed. Good for short stay. But reception service was so slow, we arrived at around 9pm and we waited 30-40mins for the reception counter and get back to room at 10pm. Also the staff keep suggesting us to park our car in nearby carpark instead of parking slots in front of the hotel.

I really was looking just somewhere to sleep over night. I was out all day from 8am till late. For those hours there is no good transport getting to or leaving the Hotel. Everything was amazing. Very clean. The room had no air-con, so it was very hot. There was a fun. The cows are just outside and their bells are making noises all night. The fruit and vegetable van arrived at about 8am again just outside my room and making delivering noises again. Perhaps the hotel should supply some ear plugs.

We stayed here twice in July and August 2020 as a stopover on our way to Italy. The hotel is conveniently located at the Raststaette Neuenkirch. The noise of the highway is not troubling, especially not in the rooms located at the backside of the hotel. The rooms have no airconditioning, but a ventilator is provided and it is possible to open the windows, although not completely. The rooms were very clean and the staff friendly and helpfull. Views from around the hotel show mountains and countryside. Within a few kilometers, there is the Sempachersee which provided us with a refreshing swim after a long day of car travelling. The breakfast was fine. The price was fine in comparison with other hotels in Switzerland.

PPENGThe pictures are all views from the window. See the beautiful scenery of Lake Lucerne. Because it is this, we evaluate 5 stars. The hotel is 4 stars in size and has the same facilities as the domestic express hotel. The room is quite large in Switzerland. The balcony is very nice to see the lake. It takes 8 or 9 minutes to get to the lake. There are more places to eat around, and the bus is still close. Go to the hotel to take the little cable car. The breakfast variety is too small, 30 Swiss francs a person, it is really cheaper, it is the simplest breakfast in the entire Swiss itinerary. The breakfast restaurant can see the lake, it is still good. The overall layout of the hotel is very good, people like it very much, the hotel service is also very good. Specifically, the hotel has a shuttle bus, saying that it can only be sent to the bus station from the hotel, and then take the bus to the train station. The driver actually sent us directly to the train station that day, touching. Lucerne is not big, the hotel location is OK, and it is convenient to go anywhere.

GGuest UserMy husband and I stayed at this very pleasant hotel for 5 nights. Our quiet room faced the river, with lovely views. Our bed was comfortable, and we enjoyed getting chocolates every night. Convenient to the train station as well as the Old Town and shopping districts. The front desk staff greeted us warmly upon arrival and was available to answer questions throughout our stay. Our bathroom included L’Occitaine bath products and a tub as well as an enclosed shower. I found the shower somewhat claustrophobic, but my husband liked it.

HHAOThe breakfast is in place, and everything should be there. It's definitely good to be full. The scenery is really beautiful. Excellent value for money. A 50-year old store that has been passed down by the family for generations, it is warm and comfortable. It's 16 degrees cool in the mountains. The dinner was especially good and the price was very reasonable, which overturned my impression of Switzerland being stupid and expensive. The facilities are a bit old, but they are well maintained, and there is a little noise when walking on the real wooden floor. There is a parking lot, so parking is very convenient.

Hotel room is fine but the edges of the bed frame protrude out hence one needs to be more cautious.
We arrive at 7pm on a Sunday evening and check in was quick. Will appreciate if WiFi password and Lucerne Visitor card are given upon check in instead of having to request for it.
At 11pm, when i tried to input the WiFi username and password, it shows Credit used up. I called the reception for assistance and was told to come down to the reception. After going down, I was given another print out of the WiFi username and password. I do not understand why this cannot be communicated over the phone. Went back to the room, tried the new username and password and it still doesn't work. Only managed to login to the WiFi the following morning when I went to the reception and get another user ID and password. Not sure if this is common in Switzerland but this sure is my first encounter.

GGuest UserPositives * Helpful and quick remote service. They helped arrange our requested extra pillows before arrival. They also arranged to send us the Lucerne visitor pass by email two days before arrival. There were some spiders in the rooms that were quickly removed for us. We also had an issue with the air conditioner that was quickly fixed while we were out. * Attractive modern and practical design. * The organic bathroom amenities set by local brand is a nice touch. * There are supermarkets and shops nearby. You must try the freshly baked pastries from Aux Merveilleux de Fred in the morning. The chocolate cramique is delicious as it comes out of the oven. * We requested a quiet room and were assigned on the 5th floor. It was nice and quiet and we could easily access the room using the lift. To be improved: * A microwave would be great to heat up food. Placing one in the common laundry room could also help. * There were no instructions on how to use the electrical stove top and other equipment in the room. This info would be good to add in the Lubo app. * A sponge is provided in the kitchen but there is no dishwashing detergent. There are not enough additional dishes to make use of the dishwasher. A small dish drying tray would be useful in the kitchen too. * The mirror near the entrance needs lighting. The shower area is also too dark. * The body soap was not placed in the shower. It was in the kitchen instead. * The air conditioner made a strange noise from time to time. * The water pressure and temperature of the shower was not stable.

GGuest UserSo the vibe is Queen Victoria meets Heidi, drawn by Walt Disney! We stayed in one of the 4th floor suites and the room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The decor is Victorian and you could mistake this for the Fife in Braemar Scotland. Funnily enough the Fife is owned by Swiss art dealers. The stand alone bath, with huge drapes and gilded mirror, is the campest thing I've seen in a long time! The views are stunning; overlooking the old town and lake from a high position on the hill. The town is accessed easily either by using the funicular or walking through the park. You can get buses at the bottom of the hill, which are regular and clean, but the town centre is a ten min walk away. The staff are very knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. The bar is great to relax in and take in the views. Breakfast is perfectly adequate for a 4star hotel. A very good experience.

VVoyageur544Spotless from the point of cleanliness, excellent position overlooking Löwenplatz & about 2 minute walk from/to the lake (views to die for!). I was on the 5th floor, so whilst there didn't appear to be any air-con it wasn't an issue as the window could be left open all night to give some air. The noise from bars/restaurants turning out at 11pm/12am wasn't an issue. I would go there again. Check-in is 100% self-service at a device on the ground floor although the hotel next door has a reception which supports any issues, according to the signs. We had breakfast there, but no issues. The rooms are rather bland (could use a little hotel comfort maybe eg picture on the wall of the lake perhaps), but other than than a very good price for a very good location. There are lots of restaurants around and a Coop next door (open until 7pm) with some cheaper eats if desired).

GGuest UserWe stayed at Galaxy Apartment - or I should say one of the Galaxy apartments for a couple of days. With three people, the falt was a little bit packed to be honest. The bathroom is very small. One of the things which disturbed me the most was the noise at night. People seem to come and go whenever they like and make a lot of noise (scream/shout) in the stairway. I don't like to be woken up at 2am during my vacation. While having TV is not that important, let's note that it was totally impossible to watch any program for more than 5 minutes, because the connection would break down. Additionally, the recent heatwave makes the flat quite hot and stuffy. We had to leave windows open during the night. That was probably for the best because trying to close the shutters was yielding such a noise. I thought they would break. Fortunately, the street was very quiet. Finally, they should provide more information regarding the parking. I think this is quite the minimum. We were really struggling to understand how to get the daily ticket.

Hotels like this should just shut down and not be in this business. Bring your rude staff with you too. This is the worst hotel in the world! Upon arrival you would feel that you made the wrong decision. The hotel smelled so dirty and old. Who knows when was the last time they cleaned it. The people working there does not have a clue what they’re doing. They can’t find my reservation so they have to call the manager to find it. Bad customer service. I’ve had a couple of bad customer service experience but nothing compared to this one. The manager was VERY VERY RUDE!!! Every time you ask her help, her response is “I don’t know!!” like she doesn’t work there. She was not willing to help people who paid decent money to stay at this horrible place. The hotel amenities were horrible too but not as bad as the customer service. We stayed in the building not connected to their check-in lobby. The building was a place that filmmakers would use to create horror movies. The lobby at this building has no steady light. It was on a timer and would turn off after 5 mins. So when you wake up in the middle of the night to go to the shared bathrooms, you would find yourself unsafe to pass by the lobby since there were no lights. They have a washer and dryer which is great but no English instructions. When you call the receptionist for assistance, she would response in a discourteous way. Nobody in this hotel wants to help you. What they do is to take your money and leave you hanging. Please don’t ruin your trip to the beautiful country of Switzerland by staying at this awful place.
