Luzern Youth Hostel

I had a very enjoyable stay at Lucerne Youth Hostel. The location is fantastic, providing easy access to the beautiful city of Lucerne and its many attractions. The hostel itself is well-maintained and clean, with comfortable accommodations. The staff were friendly and helpful, making my stay even more pleasant. The breakfast provided was good, offering a decent variety of options to start the day. While everything was generally positive, the only minor drawback was the slightly limited check-in hours, so make sure to plan your arrival accordingly. Overall, I would highly recommend Lucerne Youth Hostel for its great location, cleanliness, and friendly service.

There is free parking space, there is a free bus ticket for the designated bus day trip, the right hand is the 20 bus, the left hand also has a bus platform. The room is small and cramped, winning in the price/performance ratio, it is more convenient to take the bus to various attractions, suitable for city walk. No disposable items, hair dryer, bath towels, no shower slippers, hand washing, bath shampoo. The triple room on the second floor has a super large terrace, which can be picnic on the terrace, and the room is also equipped with a large electric fan.

Oct 2024: 1 night stay before flight in Zurich. Easy Walk to old town for the main attractions. Easy walk to train station. Luzern(city view) vibes completely different from the mountain towns of Zermatt & Grindelwald.still prefer God's mountain creation to man made buildings.

Overall, it was worth paying. Receptionists are kind enough. Nothing special than other hostels which is the good part. There were 4 out of 6 people in the room. The location is about 10 minutes away from the main station so if you have lots of luggage, you should be aware of it. They said they have a hair dryer in the bathroom but it doesn't and it required me to deposit a certain amount of money to get a private one at the reception. They didn't notice that to me when I checked in. So I was extremely confused until I got the idea.

The wooden house hotel, the location is too comfortable, surrounded by mountains, this place is far away!

The hotel is in a great location, 300 meters walk from Interlaken West. The front desk service is very friendly, the room is very clean, there is free afternoon tea and free indoor bus card, and the breakfast is also good. In short, it is very cost-effective.
