Lucerne Hotels with Bars

Amazing hotel near Luzerne train station. Many bakery nearby. Hotel staff was friendly and kind, provided toiletries and water. Breakfast was simple but good enough to start the day. Very short walk to the old town area which was great!

Very beautiful hotel with the most wonderful view of the Lake Lucerne. Paid to get upgraded to a junior suite in the hotel and did not regret at all. The view was stunning, also the hotel provides a pair of binoculars which can be used to view the mountains too!

Friendliest people we met in switzerland! Helped us to find parking lot and give tips to move around. Lobby has apple for guests, room size is big for a city hotel. Next to train station. Only down side is noisy from the street

Receptionist was friendly, patient and helpful. Hotel was conveniently located. Room was small, light bulb spoiled in the other part of the room and wasn't replaced. Coffee and tea bags provided. Bathroom was very small. Lift was very old and small. Can only fit 1 pax and a luggage each time. No frills hotel. Enjoyed the proximity to the train station, old town and the lake.

Every year when we fly to Europe for vacation, my wife always chooses the hotel, and it is always very good! This time is still the same, and this hotel makes us even more satisfied! Open the balcony window, the beautiful Lake Lucerne jumps into the eyes, the comfortable big bed, and the drinks in the bar, the beautiful reception and waiters. It is very convenient to get on the yacht in District 7 opposite the hotel. It is recommended to catch the last one at 17:00 every day, so that you can feel the beauty of the sunset. When you go out of the hotel to the left, there will be a good clothing store, all of which are new designs from Germany and Italy. Girls will be satisfied! Tax refund is available. When you go out of the hotel to the right, you can walk to the Chapel Bridge, and after crossing it, you can take the City Train and take a walk.

Some rooms have floor-to-ceiling windows, making the scenery even more spectacular. The bathrooms are sleek and well-equipped, and amenities like a Nespresso machine, minibar, and a work desk add extra comfort. Service – 8/10 The staff is professional, friendly, and efficient. Check-in and check-out are smooth, and the concierge is helpful in offering local recommendations or organizing activities. Some guests have noted that the service can feel a bit business-oriented rather than warm and personal, but overall, it’s efficient and reliable. Dining – 8/10 The on-site restaurant and bar offer a good selection of food and drinks, with a mix of Swiss and international cuisine. Breakfast is buffet-style, with fresh pastries, cheeses, cold cuts, eggs, and great coffee. The variety is good, but during peak times, the breakfast area can feel crowded. Amenities – 8.5/10 Fitness Center & Sauna – A well-equipped gym and a small sauna are available, perfect after a long day of sightseeing. Meeting & Conference Rooms – Great for business travelers, with modern facilities and event spaces. Parking – There’s underground parking, which is convenient but comes at an additional cost. Free WiFi – Strong and reliable throughout the hotel.

I recently stayed at the Cascada Hotel for 5 days and 4 nights, and it was a fantastic experience. The hotel is conveniently located very near the train station, just a 5-7 minute walk away, making it an ideal choice for travelers looking to avoid the hustle and bustle of the city center. The service at the hotel was exceptional. The staff were incredibly helpful, even lending me an adaptor for my phone charger when I needed one. The amenities were also impressive, with complimentary use of the hotel minibar, including tea, water, coke, iced tea, and more—something most hotels do not offer. The hotel is surrounded by a variety of shops and restaurants, adding to the convenience of the location. There's also an on-site restaurant known for its Spanish menu, which is definitely worth a visit. My room was kept clean every day, ensuring a comfortable and pleasant stay. Overall, I truly enjoyed my time at the Cascada Hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for great service, excellent amenities, and a peaceful yet convenient location.

Oct 2024: 1 night stay before flight in Zurich. Easy Walk to old town for the main attractions. Easy walk to train station. Luzern(city view) vibes completely different from the mountain towns of Zermatt & Grindelwald.still prefer God's mountain creation to man made buildings.

The hotel is in a good location, right next to the train station, but the parking fee is too expensive for us who drive by ourselves, which means it costs more than 800 RMB to park for two nights without doing anything. It is expensive compared to other places in Switzerland. In addition, there is no air conditioning in the room. It seems that it is because the historical protected building cannot use air conditioning? It was too hot at night. I borrowed a fan but it was still hot. Other than that, everything else is good.

The location is excellent and the service is attentive. The restaurant below the hotel is actually a Michelin restaurant. It's great to have a drink in the evening and the drinks are not expensive! In addition, the hotel will give you a welcome coupon that can be exchanged for any drink, which is a great value.
