This was one of our favourite places in China, the surroundings are awesome, beautiful and peaceful. The best place to see the great wall if you don't like crowds. The host is realy nice and helpful. We are vegetarian is not easy to find food in China, but he recommended us the restaurant across the street, and they made tasty vegetarian food for us. I would definitely come back in the future.

I cannot recommend this place enough! Firstly, we needed to drop our bags off at 10am once the train arrived in Gubeikou and they were so happy to let us into our room/hold our bags that early. Then they subsequently wowed us with their hospitality. They gave us their contact so they could give us a ride back to the accommodation from the base of the walk at Jinshanling at the end of the day. They upgraded our room. They recommended an excellent and well priced restaurant for dinner (across the road). They arranged a car to take us to the base of the wall at 0320 for sunrise. The room was beautiful, clean and beds so comfy after a day walking the wall

It was the best apartment, which had during the whole our stay in China. It is very big, comfortable and very modernly equipped. There is also a garden, where you can sit and drink your tea. Location is excellent - directly at the road to the entry to the Great Wall.

We loved our stay!
The hosts are very kind and helpful, plus they speak good english. Very interesting to talk with them about the local life.
Rooms are basic but spacious enough and there’s everything you might need (kettle, water, slippers, etc).
Location is very close to one of the main gates. You can walk to it if you want to.
On top of that, when we came back from the hike, they let us shower while we waited for our train.
No doubt, if we are ever back, we will be staying again here.

No doubt the best accommodation option in whole Jingshanling. Clean, nice and affordable. The best thing however is the owner, the most helpful guy you will ever meet. He’s speaks excellent English and knows the best tips about the area. He will be happy to help you. During our stay, he helped us with planning and transportation, also explained some things about the wall and the area. Stay here is guaranteed 10/10 experience.

After being china for almost a month this was our absolute favourite place! The owner is so lovely and was very helpful with planning our visit to the wall in two different sections. The room was wonderful; we had a great view, the bed was comfortable and it was super clean. The restaurant across the road is also really yummy.
