Hotels Near Centro CHA in Long Beach

The two personnel who provided services to me was simply easy. My issue was resolved so fast that actually i had no issue. Both individuals should be commended for their superior support and services and should be brought forward to higher responsibility, they displayed extreme professionalism and exuded true traits of being bright, quick thinking and very articulate. These traits are the epitome of an organizations success. 10 rating that comes with care and true concern for their customers. Excellent property and staff! Thanks and see you soon. Room 106 is extremely comfy, I know I was there.

There are two family hotels in Long Beach. This one is located by the sea. The other one is next to the airport. I have stayed at both hotels. It was the first one I lived in. The one close to the airport was not comfortable and the cost performance was not high. The parking fee plus the room charge added up to nearly 1800. My room can't see the sea yet, I booked a double bed, but gave me a double bed, and I was too lazy to change ~ The room was still clean, the cooking utensils were very complete, and the check-in staff was very enthusiastic But the air conditioner was too noisy, basically I couldn't sleep well all night! For breakfast at 9:30, there is no more food, the waiters can't wait to pack up and go home. Go early if you have breakfast.

We hadn't planned on a stay in Long Beach, but were sent to this hotel by the cruise line after testing positive for COVID in the middle of our 14 day cruise. Along with several other passengers, we were required to complete the remaining days of a 10-day quarantine when we got off the ship. When I found out where we were being sent, I went online and looked at reviews. I was very disturbed about all the negativity, especially since we weren't going to be allowed to leave our room. There was no restaurant or provided breakfast on site, so we had to use Instacart, DoorDash, etc. to have things left at our door. IHG/Holiday Inn is one of the chains we use regularly and are used to things like breakfast being included, so this was missed for sure. As for other issues, yes the A/C was noisy but we were glad to have it. There was also a lot of outside noise on the side of the building where we were (traffic and other things). However, our room was clean and we had plenty of towels. I did have to ask for extra washcloths and pods for the Keurig which were quickly provided. They also gave us a menu for food delivery that was limited but inexpensive. We ordered from that menu three different times and food was good considering that nothing delivered ends up being as hot as I'd like and the rooms only had a fridge, no microwave. During our stay, I talked to at least 3 different people (Daisy, Yvette, and Elizabeth) with guest services and all were pleasant, patient and helpful with all my questions and concerns. One of my questions had to do with transportation options to LAX. I had looked at Uber and other options, but prices were all over the place. They told me they could arrange a cab for us when we were ready to leave and that it would only take about 10 minutes for the cab to arrive. We chose this option and are glad we did. The Yellow Cab charged a flat rate to LAX which was cheaper than all the other prices I had seen. So while it wasn't our choice to stay here, all in all, it wasn't as bad as I expected from others' reviews.

Two bedrooms and one living room suite, very warm

I always feel comfortable here and there is a beautiful view from the front of the hotel over looking the marina and the city. it's a great place to hideaway and relax.

We were stranded, flight cancelled last minute due to Las Vegas high winds, our connection. Tired, weary and feeling hungry and grungy, we made a reservation and then called to inquire. ”Is there a courtesy airport pickup?”, ”Yes M'am, I'll be right over!” Music to our ears. And! The place is bright, cheerful and spotless, with plenty of coffee, tea and smiles. We are in love!

The location is far away from the bustling area, but if you take a cruise at the Port of Los Angeles, it is indeed an excellent choice, and you can walk there in 15 minutes. The breakfast was good, the swimming pool was just closed and I couldn't enjoy it, there was a laundry room, only washing machines and dryers but no washing powder for purchase. You can see the sea view and be close to the warship. There are small shops and many restaurants nearby. There are larger shops and more prosperous areas in about 20 minutes' walk.

Due to a flood in our house we had to stay for over 1 week while repairs were being done. From the reservation being made to our stay in a wonderful, clean 2 bed patio suite was flawless. The gentleman at the front desk graciously helped to accommodate our stay with great professionalism and politeness. Highly recommend this quiet, clean, modern hotel.Breakfast is included and Carolyn is so pleasant and friendly . I have no complaints and look forward to returning very soon for part 2 of our renovations. Thank you to all the staff, you certainly all show great pride in coming to work. We're going through a horrific heat wave here in California, and I don't have an AC in my apartment. Because of Covid 19, many public places, such as our public library, are closed; places where people can cool off from this heat. I'm a teacher working from home and it's hard enough sitting in front of a computer all day; I don't need the heat to aggravate the situation more, but aggravate it did. Because I needed a cool place where I could work, I decided to book two nights at this motel. I chose this particular one because it's fairly close to my apartment and the price was ”reasonable.” All I needed was a clean room, a working AC and reliable Wifi. I only got one of three from my wish list. The room was disgustingly dirty: spider webs in the bathroom, dirt and grime underneath the vanity, filthy chairs, filth everywhere. I wasn't able to shower because the shower head wasn't working. I only got running water from the tub faucet, and I wasn't about to sit in that tub. The wifi worked fine when I first checked in and during most of the day the second day, but then it went dead. There was no way I was able to connect using their wifi so I ended up using my hot spot for my first class, and then I came right back home where I at least have running water, reliable wifi, and a clean place to sleep.The AC worked fine, but it's too bad that this place is so rundown. The motel usually serves breakfast, whatever it is they serve, but because of the state regulations due to the pandemic we're going through, breakfast, ice and the pool were unavailable. I'm was very happy to burn rubber and come back home, albeit to a very hot apartment. Two nights was more than enough.
