Hotels in Paddington, London

The hotel is located directly above Paddington Station, offering direct access via a covered walkway so you don't even need to leave the station. Downstairs, you'll find a Starbucks, M&S, and other stores, making both travel and shopping incredibly convenient. Step outside, and you're immediately at the Tube and train stations, providing easy access to all major attractions and Heathrow Airport. The room was very clean and surprisingly quiet at night, with no train noise despite its location. It was a great stay, and I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit.

Generally clean in the room and bathroom, but the kettle looked uncleaned, needed multiple washing and boiling of water. Corridor outside rooms have bits and pieces of litters throughout our 5-night stay. Super convenient location, 2 mins walk across the road from the well connected Paddington station. And it was quiet throughout the day and night even though he room was facing the road and the station. Long queue and slow manned check in process at 3pm+. Self check-in machines were supposedly functional, but kept showing error messages after keying in details. Only basic amenities, no toothbrushes set (commonly unavailable items in London hotels?), no mini fridge, no locked safe. The free wifi in the room is tragically slow, even basic browsing of webs were lagging at times. Need to pay extra for higher speed internet. Should provide min speed of 5-10mbps for free.

Nice stay in a great location. The room was clean, and the service and amenities were just as expected. The only drawback was being on the lowest floor—we could both hear and feel the trains/tubes passing underneath. Not necessarily a huge negative, as it can be a cool experience, and they don’t run between 12:30 and 5am ish, so we could still get plenty of sleep, but just something to be aware of.

Rooms are quite small but well laid out. Nice view of the gardens. En suite also compact but very clean and modern, great shower! Staff are polite, helpful and chatty. The location for the city and Heathrow is perfect. Plenty of restaurants, fast food and pubs very close by. Would definitely use again.

Excellent stay! Very convenient location 5 mins walk from Paddington station, great welcome on arrival, super one bed premium apartment with large comfy bed, super large lounge/kitchen/diner (especially for London), practical bathroom with loads of hot water. Kitchen well stocked for preparing own food and well priced breakfast provisions available for purchase. A great base in London which we will recommend to others and will happily return to ourselves.

Chilworth Court is perfectly located in the middle of everything. Around 8 mins walk from Paddington Station, you can reach any of the major sites quite quickly. The hotel is true to the pics and even better in my opinion. Very clean and comfy. Be prepared though to order your own water or detergents for washing as those were not provided. Would I stay there again? 💯 Yes

The service is great. The people who work there are so nice and helpful. The location was so convenient for what we wanted to do, easy access to the Paddington station where you can catch the Underground or a bus. The only problem we had was no air conditioning and we were there on a hot spell. They had a small fan but that is just moving around warm air. The breakfast was interesting, you go downstairs, and it is like a restaurant. You are waited on and given a choice of an English style breakfast. We asked for eggs cooked over easy and they were hard cooked eggs when we got them, and we asked for brown bread and got white but it was better than just a bagel and coffee. We would go there again just because we loved the location and the staff.

I read a review that the door was hard to open, and it was true. But it was close to Paddington Station, and it was convenient for cafes, restaurants, souvenir shops, and other places to buy drinks. The hotel also had a homey feel to it, which I liked.

The room is exactly as described—clean and just the right size for two people. However, if both of you bring large suitcases, opening and closing them can be a bit of a challenge due to the limited space. Other than that, everything was great—especially the location! It’s very close to the train station, the Underground, and several bus stops. You can easily reach most of London’s popular sites in less than 20 minutes. The staff were also friendly and helpful. We were lucky to receive a complimentary early check-in upon arrival. We’d be happy to stay here again!

Stayed one night. All staff encountered were friendly and helpful Room clean and had everything required for a comfortable stay. V good value for money. Would definitely recommend and would book again.
