"Overall the hotel is in a decent location, near to Albert Docks and a short walk to the city centre. Even though situated right next to James Street train station the rooms were very quiet. The reception team were very nice and welcoming. There are 2 lifts. The room was good in size, the bathroom had a lovely shower, with shampoo, conditioner, body & hand wash supplied. The bed was 2 singles pushed together with the thinnest bed topper on, the mattresses were of very poor quality with noisy springs when you turned over and you could feel the springs when laid on, the TV although a decent size was of poor picture quality which had a purple haze over every channel. Tea,coffee, milk & sugar in the room and more can be obtained if needed room reception. Hairdryer & iron/ board in open wardrobe. Room comfortable for temperature as there is air conditioning New mattresses and tv quality would improve the hotel comfort immensely."

"My stay here was absolutely fantastic! The location is incredibly convenient for getting around, and the room was quiet and comfortable. The front desk staff were so warm and welcoming, truly making you feel right at home. Highly, highly recommend!"

"The sound proofing of the rooms was not very good. We could hear our neighbours talking. We were woken up at 2am with people in the corridors so we were not happy It was clean and basic. It would have been helpful to have manuals on how to work the microwave dishwasher etc. We stayed 4 nights so although there was an Expresso machine we were only provided 4 capsules any more we had to pay for, I do feel that they should provide 4 per day after all we were paying for 4 nights. The bed was comfortable. The apartments are in a convenient place for the city and the train station"

"Get beyond the check-in area and the majesty of this hotel becomes apparent. Fabulous architecture unspoiled by ill advised modernisation. There is refurbishment of the bedrooms underway and my stay on the third floor was in a refurbished room. It was impressive in an understated way retaining some rare original features whilst featuring a state of the art bathroom. Neither too hot nor too cold. Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was adequate with nothing to complain about. I will stay there again."

"Amazing experience at the Novotel Liverpool Paddington Village! Stunning lounge and room. Booked an executive room and we had ample space, great facilities, including coffee machine in room! Staff were very helpful, offering special packages that can be arranged for special events / anniversaries. Great views of the radio tower and cathedrals from Level 13 too. 5/5!"

"The cost of the room was low, but with all amenities such as kettle and even breakfast. The staff are nice and willing to offer help. The room is tidy and spacious, with a large table and chair provided. I would highly recommend this hotel."

"What a great apprentment and location. If you are visiting Liverpool this is the place to stay. Slap bang in the city centre with everything at your doorstep. Will stay here again and recommend anyone to stay here as it was spot on in every aspect bar one which is it would be amazing if they had Air conditioning as it got very hot in the apprentment. However there was a portable fan which helped."

"The host was very welcoming and personally greeted us at the property and gave us a tour. We stayed in the bedroom upstairs where there was a TV monitor on a desk and further upstairs there was a double bed with ensuite shower room. We were able to park our car in the private gates parking at the back. Tidy and clean, had a very pleasant stay. Fridge and microwave available. Location is excellent and convenient, just 5min walk from the Anfield stadium. Definitely recommend this!"

"Breakfast is very good. The chef orders it now: omelet, shredded cheese, vegetables, mushrooms, etc. It's great. Other kinds of bread, fresh juice coffee tea. Meat has sausages, bacon. Peach apple, cantaloupe, pineapple and other fruits, a kind of Danone fruit yoghurt. All in all, including early value"

"We booked a room in the Resident as it was near to Philharmonic Hall as we were going to a concert. The location was excellent, great bars, shops and a really lovely safe and friendly area. A short walk to the Dock area and everything Liverpool has to offer. The room was excellent, large, clean with the most comfortable bed ever! Hotel staff were welcoming, friendly and informative. Would one hundred percent recommend and without doubt return to stay again."
