Very good hotel, good location, a few minutes walk from the Bica and Justa elevator.
The hotel is beautifully decorated, full of Lisbon style, with details everywhere. The breakfast is delicious and the service attitude is great.

The room has enough space and is very hygienic. You can open the balcony door but cannot go out. The service is also good, but the location is not very convenient. At this price, there should be more and better options. I probably won't stay here again next time.

Location is great but regardless cannot recommend the hotel to any family. From start to finish horrible experience. Lobby looks nice as in pictures but… Takes every opportunity to add charges to bill (would not book via concierge). Had a dispute on a charge and had no recourse Insisted I needed a third room because my young kids (6 and 10 needed their own room) elevators are tiny and not nice No rooftop Would book alternative hotels with better, more thoughtful service.

Due to our unfortunate flight cancellations and flight rebookings, we missed two out of our three day stays in Lisbon. When we managed to arrive at the Ivens on our last day early in the morning, we were heart felt by the friendly treatment by the Ivens Lisbon staff. They prompted found an early check-in so that we could at least enjoy a full day tour of Lisbon after a brief rest in our room. We were also pleasantly surprised that they provided complimentary room snacks, which looked like beautifully locally sourced refreshments. This nice gesture lifted our down and out mental states from our troubled flights. Thank you.

A really lovely hotel in a prime location. The staff are super and very helpful. The ambiance is old world exploration charm. The bathroom is a good size but the vanity is too small. The bed is very comfortable. Luckily they have valet parking as well. I do not see the need for a car in Lisbon. The restaurant/bars are wonderful and have a lot of character.

Excellent location. The hotel had an interesting decor (explorer theme) and was somewhat dark. Breakfast in the restaurant was excellent. We were upgraded to a room with a balcony but would have preferred a room with more light - the balcony was the only light in the room. Bed was comfortable and bathroom was roomy. The only odd thing in the room were the 2 chairs that were so low to the ground they were impossible to sit in - very odd! Other than that the hotel was excellent and we would recommend.

Beautiful and cozy hotel with great service. Great design and decor all around. The bar and restaurant are a MUST! It is located in the middle of it all. As soon as you walk out of the property you are in the beautiful center of Lisbon with tons of restaurants, cafés, stores, and galleries all around you. Just a great place to stay.
