Very unpleasant place to stay in, i stayed almost 2 weeks because didn’t have anywhere to go. I witnessed very unpleasant scenes of the receptionist treating guests like sh*t, swearing, calling them to FIGHT him, and kicking people out for no reason, or refusing people to let in because they were 15 min late and NOT giving their money back, simply kicking them to the street at 00h, extremely toxic. About the facilities, it would be ok, a simple cheap hostel, but the kitchen was inside the room which was very weird, the stove didn’t work so no way to cook, beds, sofas and wooden walls full of BUGS/BEDBUGS, linen dirty with BLOOD stains from other guests that the bugs had bitten. For all this, it should’ve been half of price even though it was the cheapest option in lisbon at the time. Don’t recommend it overall.

Severe reaction to bed bugs bites just 5 hours after I checked in! Huge infestation of bed bugs and the worst duty of care I’ve ever received. No compensation and the hostel didn’t respond to any of my messages regarding the bed bug infestation. Will definitely be taking this to health ministries in Portugal because this place shouldn’t be open. On top of the bed bugs, the place stunk.

I had an absolutely horrendous experience at this hostel. First, they sold me a bed in a 3-room, but when I arrived, I was directed to an open room crammed with more than 12 people. To make matters worse, they charged me twice for my stay and are taking more than 3 weeks to refund me (and I dont know if it will ever happen). The manager was the epitome of disrespect, using the reserved common space as his personal office, blasting loud music intentionally to drive away other guests. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this place if you value your money and peace of mind; it's a total waste of both.

DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOSTEL. I bed had bed bugs and bed bug eggs in the bed frame. The hostel would not provide a refund even though we did not stay the night we booked because of this. The owner even hung up on me on the phone claiming he didn't speak english despite speaking to me in English before I asked for a refund.

Don't book this as a tourist. You just want to leave - No windows inside the room - Everything smelled like air refresher. This could be, because people dry their clothes inside the rooms without a window. - No social hostel. We only saw old men waiting for a job, or sleeping in the kitchen - People watching lout videos in the "social" room. - If you book with hostelworld, you need to phone to come in. Otherwise you don't have a way to entry the hostel. - female restroom door could not be locked - Men in the female restroom - Restroom for men were wet and dirty - A fan was buing the whole night, inside the room. - No electric plugs in the bed only not working usb - Light not working in the bed - Receptions tried to help and was really friendly. - Metro next door - Kitchen, but we didn't use it

We booked this hostel through hostelworld but the pictures and description did not match what is offered. We had a 6 bed dorm to ourselves but the room did not have a window and only a fan. It was unbearably hot during the night!! No one answers the phone although it rings (we tried when we were at the reception). Checking in is very complicated. Description outside the entrance doesn’t work. We only got in because people staying let us in. People at reception don’t speak English. The kitchen is okay. There are two male full bathrooms but only one toilet and two showers for females. The doors for female bathrooms don’t lock and you can look through the door!! Bathrooms are in poor condition. There was hardly any toilet paper. The whole hostel smells like cheap air refresher. There are no proper outlets in the rooms, only usb charging things. Washing machine costs extra and is overpriced. Staff comes into our room whenever they choose, no knocking or saying hello. If you don’t adhere to their rules you are presented with a fine according to the signs around the hostel. Only stay here if you can’t find another place. Beds are comfortable though.

The hostel was the worst hostel i have ever stayed in. The hostel is far from downtown and an inconvenient location. The staff were flat out rude, they were never around and it was impossible to get any type of help. When youcould talk to someone, they acted like it was a burden and charged you for it the beds was super uncomfortable and the room was incredibly hot! the bathroom was disgusting - never cleaned! the worst part of lisbon, never stay here!

- Booked and paid for a female only dorm but ended up getting placed in a mixed dorm. - bad communication from the host - Didn’t have 24h reception as stated - Location was close to metro and supermarkets but takes around 40 minutes to walk into the centre of Lisbon because of the hills. Wouldn’t feel safe walking home alone in the dark from the centre as it is quite far away and you have to go through some quieter streets with not many people around. - Was not a social hostel. - The door was locked when I wanted to check in so I rang the bell but took about 20 minutes for someone to come and open it. - Staff were friendly but some were unwilling to help or seemed like it was a chore. - Had a fridge, microwave, dishwasher and stove. - Beds were comfortable and come with two USB charging ports and a light. - Facilities were clean
