La Villa Beaupeyrat - Apparthôtels de Charme Dans bâtisse de caractère

We were located in the Chalet, above the garage being a 1 bed apartment, up a wooden staircase to get to it, very quirky and quaint. The apartment was lovely and clean, and added bonus of being able to park at the back of the villa out of sight for security reasons, if your car is full of stuff. There is no aircon however, and so if you are going at a really hot time of year, make sure you check if the hotel can supply a fan, or take your own. We visited in a heat wave! Great location - few minutes and you are in the centre ville!

Dirty bed. Dirty floors. Stunk of damp. Really not good. Supper tatty and worn out. Avoid. It's a horrible dump. Didn't stay.

Last minute decision to stay in Limoges… Happy with the decision. Very accommodating.

Highly recommended for personality and comfort The building is beautiful and in a great location - less than 5 minutes walk from the centre/old historic streets. The room was large and airy, the bed incredibly comfortable (a firm mattress) and the bathroom beautifully decorated with a window (floor to ceiling length, stained glass, beautiful!) that opened. Hot, powerful shower. The building is stunning, so much character. The one small negative was mixed communication - all the emails we had from the hotel were in French (understandably) and all said the check in would "greeting on arrival", so we waited around at 4pm to be met. When nobody came and another coupel arrived and put a pin code into the keypad we trawled through the emails again to find a code and this let us in. It wasn't clear though. A very small negative, in what was a very enjoyble stay.

It’s an elegant and efficient lodging. The manager at the front desk Christel is very helpful, and provides thoughtful assistance. I think she’s exceptional. She makes our stay very pleasant. The location is also convenient enough.

Ideal location with free parking and only 10 mins walk into Limoges. The shared space is very nice and offers a coffee machine for free use. Each room is well appointed with a small kitchen, comfy bed and great shower. Only downside for us was poor communication. We let them know we’d be arriving early 2 days prior and never heard back. It’s lucky for us the door was open so we had space to relax on the sofas and store bags as otherwise we would have been stuck outside which isn’t ideal with a big family and elderly parents. The main door is coded and so is each room as there is no reception like with a normal hotel. We tried calling but they didn’t speak English and we don’t speak French so communication was tough but in the end we were able to leave our luggage until our rooms were ready.
