My wife and I stayed in villa 18 from 21 november-01 December. This was our second visit and as before, everything was perfect. The staff are fantastic, the villa was amazing and so well stocked with all the utilities you could need. A big shout out to the men who were doing the grounds, they were planting up Poinsettia Christmas displays with such care. The whole grounds were beautiful and a delight to walk through. The only slight annoyance was the selfish people who put their towels on the sunbed in the morning then disappeared until the afternoon, even right under the sign saying not to! Most people, like us, took their towel to the pool and then took them away when they left the area. If I was in charge, I'd remove all towels and make the ignorants have to collect them from reception. So apart from that, we had a great time and are looking forward to next year's visit.

Unfortunately, we thought we had booked 4 star accommodation provided by Ona hotels and Ona Las Casitas is not as it seems. Our accommodation needed desperately renovating and was apparently privately owned. The cleaning was awful and our villa mainly the bathroom, was never cleaned properly. We complained three times to reception and made an official complaint when back in the UK. The bar served nice food, although very British. We did not know that there would be noisy entertainment three nights a week. It really was like stepping back to the eighties in a 3 star hotel …. it was dire. The accommodation is on a busy dual carriageway so very noisy and is also opposite the Fred Olsen ferry that absolutely stinks of diesel fumes. We did not sit outside the villa because of the noise and smell but sat by the pool which fortunately was usually nice and quiet except for one afternoon when there was inane singing. We will never book with Ona again but loved Playa Blanca.

Nice little apartments had everything we needed for a few days. The one we stayed in only had a few English TV channels which was ok because we were only there for a few days had we been there any longer would have been an issue for us because we don’t tend to go out much in an evening so like the option of the tv, especially as we tend to spend a long time in Lanzarote. If you are here for a couple of weeks I’m sure this would not be an issue for you. The site t self is lovely a great size pool and apparently heated to be honest when I went in I wouldn’t personally have said it was that warm? It was ok but I wouldn’t have said it was that warm. I have stayed in villas with heated pools and it certainly was not as warm as those. But a lovely pool. The bar on site is great serves lovely food and the staff are very friendly. The lady in reception is really lovely she was very helpful and let us store our bags on arrival day because we were early and obviously couldn’t check in. There was a laundry room on site again didn’t go in there as only there for a few days personally would have preferred my own washer in the apartment rather than a dish washer. They provide you with pool towels which was good. One thing not so good if there is more than two of you staying in the apartment you have to pay for extra codes for the WiFi as it is one code per device and they only give you two codes any more and you have to pay extra for them not good! Info they give you needs updating it says reception is open every day till 9 pm I went up on the Friday evening to find it had closed at 6 pm so the information needs updating because it doesn’t stay open til 9 every day. They were very helpful to us in preparing our apartment I had told them we had a mobility scooter so they had made sure we had a ramp and an extension lead to be able to charge it, so thank you for that. However you can’t get the mobility scooter in the apartment so if it rains you are in trouble because there is nowhere in the dry to store it? Position wise is excellent there is a back gate that you get a key to and if you come out of the back gate and cross the road you are in the high street literally 5 mins! Perfect! I would definitely stay there again lovely complex

Having read all the reviews I was worried about staying here yet it turned out to be a fabulous paradise, we even had a sea view across the car park. Very central to all the bars, restaurants and beach. I would stay here again without hesitation and really enjoyed our holiday in Playa Blanca. These apartments are more like bungalows set in beautiful grounds, well equipped, quiet and of a good size. A sun trap in the afternoon, very peaceful. The small garden was so lovely we came back here after dinner to relax and have some wine and just chill on the patio. We came here after staying in a 4 star hotel in Fuerteventura and for the price we paid put that hotel to shame. My only niggle, there were 2 x single beds pushed together and these were a little small for us. Very clean and well looked after.

I would like to add to the 5-star reviews posted elsewhere. They are entirely accurate and no need to repeat them here. I had the unpleasant complication of my suitcase being mistakenly lifted off the baggage carousel at the airport by another passenger, so had to spend most of the first day of our holiday without a change of clothes, toiletries etc. etc In the end, the suitcase was returned, but I I have to acknowledge specifically the efforts of the reception staff at Las Casitas; they went above and beyond the call of duty in making that happen. If you want an all-singing, all-dancing, late-night clubbing type of holiday, don't go to Playa Blanca. If, like me, you prefer a more relaxed holiday in a civilised location, then do go to Playa Blanca - and if you like to be treated as more than just another holidaymaker - then stay at Las Casitas.

Excellent Easter break at Ona Las Casitas as a family of four. The location is perfect, near a supermarket and plenty of restaurants, shops, cafes and bars all within a 5-minute walk. The complex grounds are very well-kept, each villa is well equipped with its own self-contained terrace with BBQ. For breakfast, the pool bar does a great traditional breakfast and croissants or take a 3-minute walk to the Plaza tapas bar for proper churros and tostadas for breakfast (cash only). The reception staff were very welcoming. Our kids loved the pool and stayed in it for hours thanks to it being heated! The pool bar is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner with evening entertainment every other night. We ate here a few times and could not fault it, their Sunday lunch was very good and the Las Casitas burgers were huge. The only downside we found was the road noise as our villa was adjacent to the road. We will return, but only if we can book a villa away from the road.

Great value for money. My sister and I stayed for three night weekend break in what was called a studio (recently refurbished) but which had separate bedroom and sitting area and kitchenette complete with dishwasher and washing machine. Everything was super clean. The furnishings, linen and towels were great (including pool towels). The outside space although smallish was private. The gardens are very well maintained. The location is great for the main drag and the smaller beach while playa dorado is about 25 minutes nice walk. We didn’t use the onsite restaurant bar (with entertainment) but I’m sure it’s worth a visit too. Thoroughly recommend for anyone who is on a budget or prefers to spend their money on shopping or whatever rather than fancy hotels
