Find the Cheap Lanzarote Hotels

We went to Barcelo Active Resort for our Honeymoon from the 21st Feb 2024 to 2nd March 2024 (All Inclusive) and we were very happy with our stay. It is a lovely hotel with very friendly and helpful staff that are very polite and welcoming. They put on entertainment every night, although some can be a little repetitive, it was still enjoyable to watch and be apart of. The food at the hotel is nice with lots of variety and choice, there is something different every day which is a plus. They even do a roast on a Sunday! Our hotel room was spotless, it was a lovely room, however not many hangers if there is 2 of you wanting to hang your clothes up. The hotel is a 20 minute walk from the centre with shops and bars a long the way, alternatively the hotel will call a taxi for you if you aren't up for the walk. There are taxi ranks dotted all over the centre so it is easy to get back. It is a very windy island so please be cautious of that, however when the sun is out, the wind is a nice addition. Unfortunately we had a few days of clouds too which made it a little chilly at times, but the sun did make its appearance at some point in the day. It is a very active hotel with lots to do during the day, for example yoga at 11am then a cocktail demonstration at 3:15pm. You won't get bored here! All in all, we had a wonderful 10 days at Barcelo and will definitely be back at some point. If you are wanting to do some excursion while you're there, then I would highly recommend you do the Grand Tour excursion! It is a full day and costs 99 euros per person but it is incredible and so worth it! We loved our Honeymoon here🤍

Stayed in one of the suites… Quirky furnishings and decor in the room and bathroom…the volcanic rock bathroom was amazing…Outside there was a nice private terrace with table and chairs but only 1 very old and worn sun lounger. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful but the lack of availability of coffee and tea before breakfast service was surprising given that there were no facilities in the room to make any. There’s a lovely communal lounge and outside tables and chairs, there’s a communal fridge with a basket per room for your own personal goods so in the evening it would have been perfect to sit and have supper and a drink but there were no glasses, plates, cutlery to use… they were all locked away in cupboards until breakfast !!!! Hilario is in such a beautiful quiet location, perfect for exploring the island but sadly it’s lacking in simple things and a personal touch that are always available everywhere else we have stayed. We had no contact from the owners after our arrival. Given that we paid 117 euros a night for 7 nights we feel our experience wasn’t what we expected or value for money.

First off...despite the 4 / 5 stars, we had a lovely family holiday. If you're booked to come, I've no doubt you'll have a great time and you'll make the best of the hotel. But we won't return. And I wouldn't recommend Royal Level sadly. There are so many positives. The room we had was recently refurbished, the terrace we had was huge, the team at the Royal Level bar were always friendly. It's a very clean place. The food massively lets this place down. Breakfast was fine. Lunch in the breeze pool was ok. The evening buffet was poor. Limp vegetables for vegetarians and poorly replenished food meant we either ate at the larger buffet (non Royal Level) or ate out. It's worth knowing that there are very few places nearby for a stroll. And the views over the de-salination / wind turbines aren't the best. Sunbed wars are strong here. If you want one of the pods...be up before sunrise. And expect to be frustrated by people not using them. Our two boys loved the kids club. So thank you to the team at the Barcy Club. Like I say, we had a lovely family getaway. But we'll book elsewhere in future.

We spent 16 nights over Christmas and New Year at the Fariones and had a great time. The Hotel is beautifully and tastefully renovated with subtle luxury in a classic mid- century design which you would typically find in smaller boutique hotels. Many old features of the traditional Fariones Hotel were kept which all together provides a very comfortable and classy and elegant atmosphere without being stuffy or fussy. The grounds and garden resemble top luxury resorts in Thailand or the Maldives with plenty of palm trees, exotic gardens and many different and private areas for lounging, sun bathing, relaxing and so on. All 3 restaurants have their own style with great food and service. All rooms have sea views with a high level of comfort, design and decoration The sports center 2 minutes walk away although a little older offered everything needed and more... The hygiene concept was professional and taken seriously Hotel Director Jörg and his team made great efforts during Christmas and New Year with a classy programme of dining, entertainment, live music and daily piano sessions which all in all provided a very festive atmosphere. The multinational team of the Fariones displayed a very positive spirit. The hotel opened only a few month before the holiday season and it seemed that everone was exited to be back in business ater 4 yers of renovation. Despite the reopening there was not a single negative service moment in over 2 weeks. Just to name a few staff members who made it a special stay for us: Arnaud, Emilie and Javier from reception. We booked the hotel (rather late in the day) as part of an Inntravel package - and only then read some of the negative reviews here. Our experience of the hotel brought us to an opposite conclusion. The location on the edge of the small town of Yaiza is not remote, but quiet and tranquil, and only a relatively short drive to the southernmost beaches and resorts, rugged coastal path, or in other directions, the amazing Timanfaya National Park. The room we had was next to the pool (very cold, but invigorating!), and was clean, spacious, and had a great shower and a very comfortable bed. It was cleaned daily, and the only improvement we would suggest is that it could benefit from having a couple of chairs (it had one plastic chair). Some other rooms seemed to be a little more opulent, but the one we had was more than adequate for our needs, and met out expectations Breakfast, served in the courtyard, was wholesome, with a wide and plentiful choice of fresh fruits, cereals, yogurts, ham, salami, cheese and breads etc. The breakfast staff, who worked very hard, were fantastic, charming and infinitely patient. Evening meals at the restaurant (which is not run by the hotel, as far as we understood the situation) was a relaxed, very tasty and friendly experience. The management were there to help and advise, and we didn't feel any negative vibes. We had a very relaxing time at the hotel, and wish it and its charming staff well for the future.

What a find! This modern, spacious and well equipped two-storey villa has 5 bedrooms and is a world of luxury. A 20-25 minute walk from the airport along a safe dual use cycle path / footpath, you don't need a taxi or a bus. We booked Magma Rooms for the first 2 nights of a 7 day visit, as was arriving late 10pm+ from the UK. A second night at Magma was good to explore nearby restaurants and visit the beach in the day. What can I say about the room? It had everything you needed from free-to-use safe, flat screen TV, power shower, hairdryer, fan, extra pillows and blankets. In the shared facilities there is a Nespresso machine and mini bar fridge (pay via honesty box) as well as wine glasses, bottle opener etc. They have thought of everything! After check-out we then walked back to the airport to catch the # 161 bus to Puerto del Carmen (1.40€ each).
