The host Didi and his wife were very helpful! Explained everything about Langkawi and answered all of our questions. Nice breakfast. Also want to mention strategic location of this Lodge since it’s almost close to everything useful on the island: airport, beaches in the east with some nice restaurants (seafood in particular) and duty free shops as well as beaches in the north (we liked Skull beach very much) and skybridge entertainment. So surely I recommend Ocean Lodge!

The host, DiDi, is very friendly and helpful during my stay. The breakfast was amazing and I would love to stay there again when I return to Langkawi in the future.

The room is very clean. The owner, Didi, is a German man. He and his Thai wife make the environment spotless! The hygiene is impeccable! The service is impeccable! They are afraid that you don't know what to do! They will arrange everything you want to play! His German beer is first-class! I look forward to fishing, barbecue and drinking German beer with him next time...

Where are the 6 stars? We rebooked at short notice and did everything right. Booked with a host and left as friends. The extremely friendly host Didi and his loving wife Goy provided us with all the information we needed about the entire island, food trips and great beaches, as if we had been his guests for years. Breakfast was top notch and always freshly made. The rooms were super clean and had everything you needed and if you needed something, it was no problem getting it. Riding the scooter was also easy even if it was on the left side. All in all, WE WOULD LOVE TO COME BACK!!!

This place is amazing. Didi & Nanthi are the best hosts. They are super friendly. And this place is incredibly clean. The common toilet is spotless. I strongly recommend this Ocean Lodge. You should book your stay here. You will love it. 👍👍👍👍

We stayed there for a few days. The owners speak are native speakers in Thai and German, and of course speak English. They have very accurate tips about trips and best visiting times for more popular attractions. The rooms are well equipped and very clean. The komplex is cosy, quiet an has lovely plants. There is a good breakfast and you can buy some drinks if you want. A typical day: Breakfast with Muesli or omlette, renting one of the well maintained scooters. Drive to the beach. (the nicest ones are maybe 30 minutes on a nice country-road). Come back in the late afternoon, habe nice cool shower. Then a 3min walk to one of the three close restaurants. They range from very cheap local to a bit more fancy seafood. Then a good nights sleep with a ceiling fan. Or AC, if you prefer it. All in all a nice place, very friendly an helpful hosts!

Highly recommend this amazing hidden gem run by a lovely couple Goy & Didi.The accommodation is clean and cosy, close to restaurants. It is on a quiet road. It is also close to the harbour. The hospitality and passion deserves 5 star rate :) Thank you for the lovely chat and recommendations. I hope we will come back one day again.

The Ocean Lodge Langkawi is a lovely and quiet little place to stay. Everything is very well maintained and very clean. The owner couple Goy and Diedi are leading this small lodge with a lot of dedication, love and hospitality. The lodge is located in a quiet fishing village at the west coast. Everything like sightseeing spots, restaurants or bars are available with a rented scooter in not too far distance. I really enjoyed my stay at the Ocean Lodge and finally left the place as a friend….

Do you know the feeling when you come to visit the house of your friends? that's how you will feel in this place. Didi and Goy are the best hosts ever. The first time we arrived, Didi was waiting for us with a nice welcome and a map of the island, he literally knows every corner of the island and without his advice, we couldn't have had a great experience. The room was big, impeccable and so clean, Goy always make sure you would have everything in your room. We had awesome sleep. Nothing to say about the delicious breakfast they provide. It's a small place with only 4 rooms, perfect if you wanna be in a quiet environment. A bit far from Cenang beach but you can get a motorcycle rented from them for a few bucks, very cheap and the motos are almost new, Didi would make sure your moto is ready. What really amazed us is that both Didi and Goy took all the time they have to spend with us, sharing breakfast in the morning and making us feel at home. I am really surprised why this place is not full all the time, as I said, it's not a hotel for us, it's like coming to a friend's home. The only regret we have is not have been able to stay more days.

I have been traveling around the world for many years, it rarely happens to meet such pleasant structures and owners. if you go to Langkawi or stay for a few days, this place will offer you a familiar and warm welcome. I recommend. very nice, clean and save hotel with motobikes rental and great and caring host. we booked 2 rooms which were nice and clean during CNY'23, the neighboring restaurant was great, the owner has motobikes for rent and is happy to advice for best places to visit in Langkawi. the breakfast is another highlight of this hotel.

Located in a quiet village by the sea, the hotel itself is super clean and organised. You can enjoy delicious breakfasts prepared by the awesome hosts. There are a few decent restaurants around at walking distance for lazy days, namely The Roof Restaurant and Kuza&Luke Cafe. Generally, it is convenient to get around Langkawi with the ride-hailing apps and it takes a maximum of 20mins’ car ride from Ocean Lodge to Kuah, skybridge and Tanjung Rhu jetty if you are going for the mangrove tour. The wifi is fast too. If staying in the busy Pantai Cenang area does not satisfy your heart longing for a peaceful and calm stay, Ocean Lodge would be the one!
