A small, dark room with poor lighting, locks and ventilation was a big step down coming from a 5 star resort on the opposite side of Langkawi. This bump down to earth hit me pretty hard. The WiFi was patchy, the check in was insufficient and we soon found ourselves online booking excursions and day trips to ensure our 3 days here were spent, mostly, out of the hotel. However, it is what it is and we soon grew comfortable roughing it a little bit. This took me back to my backpacking days. It's cheap, convenient and on the right rough area for activities along Pantai Cenang. The cafe connected to the hotel seems very popular with trendy, hippy vibes. Laid back is the order of the day here. We found ourselves ubering in and out of here quite frequent as it was a little out of the way to walk into town, but convenient nonetheless. We had a few decent sleeps but I can't really rate this more than a 3. It was just a bed inside a concrete cube and that's exactly how it felt.

Hi dears! We had a wonderful time at panji panji, thank you for making us feel really welcome. We enjoyed the breakfast, the cozy atmosphere, the swimming pool, the breeze and chattering of friendly people around. It has been a good home for a few days. Your hospitality has been wonderful, ps next time we will bring an extra bag, and leave our brother behind (we dont think he will mind)! Clara & Rudolf

The room was spacious with a really nice and big patio to chill. Bathroom was clean and aesthetic. Room was very cozy and homely. Bed was nice and big. Would actually be great for a party with friends due to the space and layout. If I'm not mistaken the sofa is a sofa bed so it could accommodate more than two. If it isn't a sofa bed there are still two sofa's to sleep on if needed. Surprisingly not many bugs or mosquitos. And the pool is super clean and nice and quiet. A good place for a relaxing stay

If you want a traditional and typical experience, this is the place to stay. Bungalows are very comfortable and come with air conditional and fans. Amazing surroundings full of vegetation, tropical garden and a fisherman river nearby. 15 minutes walk from Pantai Cenang. Fantastic cafe that offers amazing breakfast, food, fresh juices and coffee. Great swimming pool area. Extremely relaxed place. The staff was also amazingly friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!!!

What a lovely experience for our first visit to Langkawi the property was so relaxing and exactly what we wanted,the breakfasts were gorgeous in a beautiful setting with great attentive staff We stayed in villa number 2 which was a large clean and comfortable private space in a traditional Malaysian style using a lovely mixture of materials some reclaimed from other places with a super comfortable bed and linen ,bedroom was open plan from the lounge with folding wooden doors to close in the evening if required.small area with fridge kettle etc and separate large bathroom .There was a large fully furnished private balcony area overlooking the gardens and water features The property was managed by Erin who was so friendly and always available helping arrange trips even running us back to the airport as part of the service We would highly recommend and plan on returning

we stayed here for 5 nights and loved every minute of it, our room was always cleaned, super spacious with an amazing half outdoor shower, bed was huge and comfortable, the staff were always very friendly, the food was the highlight because it was sensational, no wonder it is always busy the moment it opens, close to town as we do not mind walking, grab is super easy so you would not worry about transportation, all in all we had an amazing relaxing time, thank you for the lovely stay!
