The venue for the business trip was at Arcadia Hotel, so I chose this hotel for check-in. The service staff welcomed me warmly, checked the order, and quickly issued the room card. After introducing the internal facilities and business hours, they arranged for afternoon tea on the executive floor. The room eye masks, bath balls and other small items were available. The bedding was soft and comfortable, the gym facilities were brand new, and the small rubber band hairpins could be taken from the portable item treasure box. I will come again if I have the chance. 😄

I stayed at the Wen'an Luneng Hilton Hotel during May Day. The climate in the park is very comfortable this season. There are still many play projects in the park. It is very suitable for children to play. I took children to play electric cruises, go-karts, and bonfire parties at night. It is very atmospheric! Manager Yuan also helped us prepare a lake view room, facing the lake, the scenery is super good! Due to the large number of guests during May 1st, the room attendant was also very hard and very helpful to help us clean the room quickly, so that we can move in quickly, and thank you very much for the room sister Lu Ailing and Liu Jingjing, and give you a thumbs up! The room was cleaned very clean! When the room was waiting, Manager Yuan took us to Linxuan to rest. Linxuan's little brother Zhang Kaixuan and Ma Xuan helped us make American coffee. The service was very polite and the service was very good! Overall, the hotel is very angry, the environment is very good, it is worth checking in again!

The overall experience of this time can be summarized as slow. I checked in at 3 o'clock, and it took more than 20 minutes to complete the formalities. Then I was told that I hadn't cleaned it up. I waited until more than 3 o'clock before I was given the room card! I went to the hot springs, but I didn't go to the hot spring pool until 4 o'clock. I thought I would eat first. As a result, I waited for more than 20 minutes after ordering the meal before the first dish was served. Until I almost finished eating, there was still one dish that hadn't been served. I communicated with the waiter to return the dish and check out, but found that the money was still collected! I continued to communicate for a refund, which was speechless! Let's talk about the pool. It may be because of the holiday. There are many people and few pools. Because it was already night, I didn't dare to go outdoors. I personally feel that the overall water temperature indoors is not hot, the water in the pool is shallow, and there is always wind blowing, which will feel very cold and unsatisfactory! The sweat steaming room is not warm, but a smell of sour smell! There is a lobby manager named Wang Mumu at the front desk who is very professional and provides good service. Although I encountered various unhappiness, all problems were solved through her coordination! By the way, there is a greenhouse near the hotel for picking fruits. The prices are shockingly expensive, but the tomatoes and strawberries taste very authentic!

Everything was fine on check in . Then came breakfast- absolutely not worth the price to be honest. And the room is not not super clean, upon checkout they hotel tried to claim we stained the bathroom mat , maybe because we are foreigners they want to extort us by keeping our deposit? But my husband spoke sternly to them , they gave us the deposit immediately. Ruined the whole experience but otherwise nice hotel.

I feel like I have to comment on something. Is this a five-star Sheraton? But I am really speechless: First of all, parking is difficult. There are parking spaces at the entrance of the hotel, and the number is not bad. We arrived at around 5 pm, which is not too late, but there was no place to park. The security guard asked us to go around to the back of the hotel. We didn’t know the situation. We went around and there was no place to park. We went back to the front of the hotel building. The security guard said that we had to park on the main road behind the building... Then we walked over. It was freezing cold and pitch black... There were many temporary parking spaces in front of the building, but they didn’t allow us to park. They said that there would be a crew tomorrow... But there were clearly cars parked there! I am so angry! If this was Wangfujing, I would not say anything. You have such a big place, and there is no way to park? You don’t plan parking, and let guests drag their luggage for hundreds of meters in the dark... I am speechless! Then we checked in. The hotel didn't have a child fence, which was fine, but the shower was terrible. When the shower was turned on, the water came out from the big gap between the shower and the wall. It felt like the shower would fall off if it was turned on for a while. The shower head was also very strong when it was turned on, and then it immediately became a small stream of water when it was adjusted to hot water... Then the pillows were so high that I felt dizzy after sleeping... The bed was soft... The TV was small... The curtains had big holes... The most speechless thing was the comb provided by the hotel. It was a transparent plastic comb less than 800 years ago... I don't know if there are any hotels that still use it now... I was shocked! The hotel staff were all very nice, and they kept saying sorry to you in a very nice manner... In short, I didn't feel like I was staying in a five-star hotel! It really opened my eyes. The level of Sheraton shocked me! I will not stay there again, nor will I recommend it!

We visit the Four Points by Sheraton, in Gu'an Langfang often. This was a particularly special visit, as there were numerous events to celebrate. Namely ”Mid Autumn Festival”, ”National Day” and my Birthday coincided during this period. This Hotel is without a doubt the best Hotel, not only in Gu'an, but in Langfang as well. The ”Eatery Restaurant”, plays a vital role in the success of this Hotel. I often say this when visiting a great Hotel or Restaurant, it's the ”Team”, whom makes the establishment a success. The ”New” pastry cheff, is truly a great asset to the Restaurant and Hotel. His pastries are of exceptional standard, and the variety is huge ”unlike the sister Hotel's Restaurant, The Sheraton”, whom barely have any pastries or desert on offer. Without the right team in place, the business can and will, never be truly successful. Especially, in the current highly competitive market. As a former ”Regional Retail Manager”, with over 15 years of Management experience, I can't help but observe and analyze certain businesses. Being University Qualified in ”Customer Relationship Management” and ”Retail Management”, I appreciate High levels of Customer service. The success of this Hotel and Restaurant, lies in it's team, and their hard work and dedication. True ”Managers”, lead from the front, and set an example to their staff. As the case with ”Samuel” the General Manager, whom always assists his team on the floor. The same can be said for ”Marcus” the Restaurant Manager, whom is always ”hands on” and working hard on the floor. Such ”leadership” sets the tone, for a great team as it will filter down to staff on all levels. Special thanks to ”Lydia” the Office Manager, for always being willing to assist in ensuring that guests receive the absolute best, during their stay. Lydia is always courteous and professional. As always, ”Marcus” the Restaurant Manager, treated us with extreme courtesy and hospitality. We appreciate your hospitality Marcus, thank you. Thank you to ”Molly” from the Restaurant, whom assisted us with with room service, as well as in the Restaurant. It's also note worthy to mention, that it's not only the ”Management Team”, whom deserve praise. As all team members provided excellent service, during our stay. Thank you to ”Housekeeping”, for friendly and prompt service. The team at the ”Swimming Pool”, also provided friendly and prompt service, during our stay, thank you for that. We also appreciated the friendly and professional service, received from the following Restaurant staff: Sam, Peter and Joe. Perhaps, ”Marriott” should consider, having this Hotel's ”sister” Hotel, ”The Sheraton, Chaobai River Hotel's Management and Team, learn about ”Hospitality and Service”, from this Hotel ”Four Points by Sheraton, Gu'an Langfang”. As in my opinion, the ”The Sheraton, Chaobai River Hotel's Management” is not on standard. The facilities at the Four Points by Sheraton, Gu'an, Lanfang, are on International standard. We always enjoy the Swimming Pool, Lobby Lounge and Outdoor Deck, during our stay. The ”Alpacas” are truly amazing creatures and are well taken care of. They truly make guests' stay, more enjoyable. We can highly recommend the Four Points by Sheraton, Gu'an Langfang, to all visitors, ”Foreign, and Domestic”. This is still our favorite destination, in Gu'an / Langfang and surrounding areas.
