Evangelisa

We travelled to Lampeter for the Welsh Indoor Rowing Championships. We needed some where near the event location and not too far from local amenities. The Evangelisa ticked all the boxes. PLEASE do not let the photo of me by the bedroom door put you off... I am over 6ft 4in and the rest of the B&B is 'tall person' friendly... i wanted to add the photo to show it's quirkiness. I loved it! The rooms are warm, quiet and well equipped. The owner welcomed us warmly and when we said we were getting a take away were on hand to set a table for us and provide plates and glasses. The breakfast was awesome and you will get well fed. A MUST IF VISITING THE AREA and we will defo be staying again when we visit. Thank you.

As so often reported, a very warm welcome to a very clean and smart B&B. We found parking outside easy overnight but you need to move during the day. The street parking 'bays' are also narrow. However, there are two large and easy to find carparks very close, both with lots of EV chargers. The bed was very comfy and we slept well, two hot summer nights, a fan was supplied with bedding options. Even with the window open all night, we were not woken by traffic. A small ensuite bathroom with an electric shower was fine. Breakfast is preselected and I recommend the cooked breakfast, locally sourced ingredients and very tasty. A personal cafetiere of coffee and toast to finish up! Perfect 👌. Lots of other options available. The owners are wonderful, happy helpful and very knowledgeable. If (when) we return to the area, there is nowhere else that we will stay! If you are planning a trip to Lampeter to visit Calico Kate, thee quilt museum or any other local attractions, look no further for accommodation.

Beautiful boutique hotel - greeted with a warm friendly welcome - very accommodating - would differently recommend. If you interested in sewing there is a fantastic shop called Calico Kate - a couple of doors up - oh my goodness fabric galore

Fantastic and friendly host , nothing was to much trouble. Would recommend to anybody and we’ll be back on our next visit . Fantastic breakfast and Angela arranged a table for our takeaway and was always helpful in every way . The room was perfect for our two day stay .

This hotel met all my expectations. The hostess Angela was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The beds were extremely comfortable and the decor was lovely. We had a delicious breakfast cooked to order while we waited. Excellent service throughout our stay in a very cosy atmospheric ambience. Would highly recommend and excellent value for money. Would be very happy to return there when next in Wales.

A clean, comfortable and friendly haven on Lampeter High Street. The owners were friendly, happy to meet our needs, and able to provide information on local attractions. Their traditional Welsh breakfast is amazing! Eggs cooked as you like them, Penclawdd cockle, laverbread cake, and Welsh sausages can't be beat!
