RodmanStar Apartment

The accommodation was spacious and nice. It's a good accommodation for a family trip. However, there was a lot of dust, so I had to ventilate the room as soon as I entered. The location and cooking in the room were good.
Grand Suites Lake Tekapo

When I booked, there were only two rooms left, and there were not many hotels to choose from in the town. I didn't expect this hotel to be so good. It's about a 5-minute walk from the Shepherd's Church. You can see the lake view. The decoration facilities are relatively new and the style is also very nice.

If you want to feel the private garage and small villa, then come to this one. It's really a completely different experience, it's the feeling of renting a house. We arrived late because of the closure of Highway 8 and responded immediately after ringing the bell. This one has a bathtub and can take a bath. There is also an electronic fireplace. The style is in place. There is even a rice cooker 🥰 to completely solve the Chinese stomach. The starry sky is so beautiful! Looking up is the starry sky. The sun is spilled on the bedside in the morning. The door is Tekapo. Recommend to stay a few more days. Disadvantages: No active cleaning service. This service may be provided after further communication.

Very smart that the breakfast is included in the booking, saving us time and effort. Everything is super clean, staff are all very helpful and friendly, I had great chats with them, and received a lot of help.
Peppers Bluewater Resort

I had an amazing stay at Peppers, which is located so close to the lake—it's incredibly convenient! The location made it easy to explore the surrounding area. The highlight of our stay, however, was the fantastic staff. A special shout-out to Aggie Sami, who went above and beyond to assist us. We accidentally left some of our belongings at the hotel, and Aggie was kind enough to arrange delivery all the way to Queenstown for us. Their helpfulness and attention to detail really made our experience memorable. Highly recommend staying here for both the location and exceptional service!

Disadvantages 1. It takes 15 minutes to walk down from Intercity, all uphill, and on gravel roads, so it's too tiring to drag luggage. 2. Self-service check-in, no front desk. It's really inconvenient to have no front desk. 3. The wifi is unstable, always unable to open, and stuck. 4. My room faces the road, and there is no gauze curtain, so I can only choose between privacy and darkness. 5. All the service staff are Chinese, and their English is not good, but fortunately I am Chinese. 6. Although they are Chinese, they still feel quite impersonal. I, a girl, asked them to give me a ride when I checked out, but they all had cars, and it was only a 5-minute walk, but they didn't help. It just made people feel uncomfortable. 7. You need to learn garbage classification seriously, and you will be fined $50 if you misclassify. The documents guiding classification are all in English, and you need to be good at English, which is still quite complicated. 8. Although there is a kitchen, there is no induction cooker, only a microwave. 9. The quilts are quite dirty, but fortunately they give a blanket. Advantages 1. There is no problem with electric blankets and heating. It's not cold even though it's so remote. 2. You can see the stars directly at night without joining a stargazing group.
