The Rollace hotel is a new found gem for me in Lagos, Ikeja Nigeria. I found this place by sheer luck on *********** and i have to say it was the Best choice yet. The welcome i received from Jessie at the front desk blew me away, when on entering I was addressed by name, that made me know that special effort was being made to make me feel at home. The staff was so courteous, the place extremely clean, the room was exceptionally large and truly exceeded my expectations, a livingroom area with a sofa set, a separate dining area with a washroom, and a spacious bathroom. The bed, linen and pillows provided the most comfortable sleep. The chef makes the most Scrumptious meals and his menus cannot be challenged. The Rollace fish, so tasty and decorated with vegetables and fries is a sell off. Next from the bar is the Very Berry smoothie, that's to die for. The ambience at the poolside with the best DJ ever can only be experienced. Thanks to Dan who meticulously made sure the guests meals were served in a timely manner, and to Michael our server who was so attentive.

The breakfast was good, among the pastries for breakfast their doughnut is the best. The Deluxe and the King/queen room is beautiful and worth the stay. I really enjoyed my stay here, the environment is also very serene and I will definitely be booking another stay here shortly.

Had an amazing stay. Everything worked great. Mini pool and mini gym to complement it. Breakfast was tasty with a decent variety. Although I had a nasty experience where I ordered for dinner, a spaghetti bolognese meal, where the meat was rotten :-( any cook can tell if food has gone bad but for it to have been served to me, made me question the food in store and played it safe by eating elsewhere after that experience. Aside that Wifi worked well. The frequent power cuts were not felt as a generator kicked in a few seconds after the mains went off. Overall I Enjoyed my stay but very disturbed by the food experience. May be a one-off but just be mindful

This hotel provides the ultimate comfort – it is neat, spotless, and exudes a luxurious feel. However, the management needs to address the issue of staff carelessness in handling paid bills. This is an important factor to consider when booking a stay. Unfortunately, my wife and I experienced this issue firsthand during our visit. We were charged twice for certain items, which caused us a great deal of discomfort and unnecessary stress. Despite this, we look forward to returning to the hotel on our next trip to Lagos, but we'll be adopting a ”pay as you go” approach to avoid further issues.

They are among the best that the hotel industry in Nigeria and anywhere in the world can afford. I stayed couple of days at citiheight and it was awesome time. I love the environment and the quietness. The pool is nice and clean, the gym and the bar was on point. The hospitality of staff was very pleasant. I didn’t really enjoy the Air condition I requested for a change of room and it was done. The breakfast was buffet style and I usually filled myself up before going out. I would love to come back again.

The following are real pictures and videos I took when I checked into the hotel that day. I stayed in Room 10 on the first floor that day. Hotel location: The transportation in Lagos is quite convenient. Hotel facilities: Take a look at the pictures for yourself, they were taken on the day of check-in. Looking at the pictures of bedding and linens, the bed is quite comfortable. Hotel decoration: see pictures for yourself. Bathroom: There is no dry and wet separation. Breakfast: Look at the pictures for yourself. Hotel service staff: Personally I think they are very service-minded and quite careless during the stay.

I stayed here for a week on business. This hotel has excellent service from reception to housekeeping to room service. The room that I got was spacious and very quiet - great for a good night's sleep. The hotel has a very good spa and wellness centre. The food is high quality mainstream fare. Not particularly creative though, and no plant-based main dishes.

PPragmatic personMy experience at the hotel was great! The food was good….healthy and tasty. The service was satisfactory from each and every service personnel and staff. When I make a complain, they attend to it immediately and see that the problem is solved. The facility looks new external and internally. My time at the hotel was well spent and I had a good night sleep. The bed was comfortable and clean.

LLondonDandyDTook awhile to get checked in. The Porter took us up to a room that sank of cigarette smoke and ****. They had sprayed profuse amounts of air freshener in an attempt to mask the smell. It didn't work and both smells would either make you nauseous or give one a headache. I asked for another room...i wasn't happy when there wasn't one in my range available (admittedly it was vals weekend) as they tried to arm twist me to paying for an upgrade. I refused and asked for a refund. The pleasant manager calmed me down and asked me to hold on. I went to have a pleasant meal in their restaurant. Luckily they made up another room for us. It didn't smell as bad. But in a rush...they forgot our bottled water and extra towel. Twas a nuisance. Later we went to the pool for drinks...i was dissapointed with the cocktails and a horrible fried ice cream cake. Lastly next to us were a bunch of poorly unkempt boys...one was smoking a joint...explains lot of public places smelt of ****...it was a case of either I wasn't meant to stay here or those guys shouldn't be there smoking ****..the hotel TV system is a bit of a pain to operate...and fabric seats in the room was not good...you could see stains not unlike semen...very off putting....but the rooms were a really good size, Good acs and decent price for Victoria island.....i would stay there again...hopefully they would have stopped people from smoking **** there..

Birthday surprise. After attending my friends mothers burial the next day was my birthday so we decided to change location to enjoy the day. The staff at the front desk where nice and friendly. The didn’t waste time checking us in. Got to the room to my surprise birthday cake, champagne, chocolate, and gifts. It was a pleasant surprise cause I was so tired from Lagos horrible frustrating traffic. It lighten my mood. I had planed to take a bath and hit the sack. The hotel is clean and cute. The rooms aren’t that big, but still comfy for two. I had a lovely stay.

GGuest UserSpacious rooms and quite clean. Very helpful housekeeping staff. Dirty water in the swimming pool. At the reception they are a bit too slow and a bit too shy, but always trying to satisfy any requests. Food in the restaurant is always the same and not particularly impressive. The most of the time they take very long time to deliver in the room, or just need a very long time to take your order. Actually if they are busy doing some paper works, they ignoring you util you don't request attention. Definitely they need to improve their customer service. Pay attention to the dirty tables keep the terrace organised and be more efficient. We want to thank the new joiner for his different service Mr. Omo, you are the best

The hotel seems to have only 6 floors and the elevator only shows up to the 6th floor.
I booked a sea-view room at 1498RMB, and arrived at the shop in advance to arrange a higher floor at the front desk. Say we need to arrange the 5th floor, tell us to wait for 40 minutes, the room is being cleaned, and waited more than an hour, said that the room is full, can only be arranged on the 3rd floor. Looking out of the window, it is the scene in Figure 1. It is said that a good seascape is a bunch of pipes. The facilities in the room are also sorry for the five-star title, the moldy roof, the bathroom was rude, and there was no hair dryer. The lobby is okay, the pool is large and the green environment is ok. Probably the best environment in this city. However, it is open to the public, not for the private use of hotel customers. Seeing two foreigners paying 5,000 naira can enter the pool and share public facilities. There are dining points on the first and negative floors of the hotel. I ordered a salmon and steak (pictured) 30,000 naira (580rmb). The taste is acceptable, but the salmon is definitely not fresh. Ordered early, the last picture is breakfast. I usually book early with a regular trip, it's normal, and the price is not high. Those who like the environment can spend about 50rmb / person for a walk.

GGuest User Brilliant Experience!!!had a fantastic stay at the Lagos Intercontinental with my family, I stayed in a corner suite on the top floor which was just fantastic with ocean view. The room was large, with a great sitting area and large bath/shower room, with separate guest WC. The air conditioning was perfect and kept the room cool at all times. The hotel provided a high standard buffet breakfast, a fantastic bar area by the outdoor pool for relaxation. There is 24hrs security all around the hotel so I had no worries with safety. Also, Brilliant house keeping staff were all deligent.... Fatai, Chidi and rest-made my suite cleaner throughout my stay with full customer satisfaction. I would say right from check-in counter, to room service, breakfast and ordering food /drinks were excellent I will specially like to say a big thank you to front desk managers from the 2 Mr Adebayos Femi, Amarah and Mr John whom were all professional and did made my 2 weeks stay a memorable. I was well looked after and took care of all my complaints and making sure i was comfortable throughout. Thank you guys, you all are absolute gem, so helpful and friendly. I shall certainly return soon with my family for more heavenly experience. Cheers all.

I was recommended this hotel and found it very good and suited to all my needs. Highly recommend the staff for their friendliness and attention to my every request. The rooms are clean and spacious. And extremely convenient location. So give them 5 star !

The rooms were immaculately clean and comfortable, with fluffy pillows and a bed that was a joy to sleep in. The internet and power supply were reliable, making it a great stay for both relaxation and work. The overall experience was top-notch, and I would highly recommend the Movenpick Hotel Ikoyi to anyone looking for a wonderful stay in Lagos. 5 stars and well done to the team!”

Sstjude2019For a hotel at this price range, you should expect something better. The front desk was very unwelcoming, no smile, not at all helpful. The room although big, but empty, just the bed and a table and chair in one corner. The bathroom was very clean and the towels (but never complete) was always changed on a daily basis and the room made even though I had the sign do not disturb on! They has complimentary drinks in the fridge which included beer and soft drinks all free. Breakfast was your usual typical Nigerian food nothing to write about. The dinning room was way at the back of the hotel, if it rains you will have problems accessing it. The table cloth were all old and cheap quality for this standard, very disappointing. Had a room facing the lagoon, nice view. Overall I score this hotel average.

Atm in lobby will take USA visa debit for local naira, dispense 10,000 at a time. Room was a bit tight. Wish we had stayed here instead of the apartment their bed was like a board. Staff very respectful and professional. POS didn't take credit card, nor atm, even though shoprite did.
Can't wait to stay there again, next time in lagos.
