There are two super hotels in Kyoto, and there are choices of Shijo Kawara CHO and Shijo Kawara CHO, but if you are looking for bustle (shopping and eating out) or sightseeing, I think Kawara Cho is better. It is also an advantage that a large bath (middle bath?) can be used though it is a men and women change system. On the other hand, KARASUMA Gojo is within walking distance to Kyoto Station (about 10 〜 15 minutes), so it may be more convenient if you have a large luggage and use JR such as Shinkansen? In the morning, I passed in front of Higashi Hongan Ji Temple on the way to Kyoto Station, but there was no tourist at all and it was very good. However, there is no restaurant around (no restaurant, but there is no shop that is not very patchy), and when you go to eat at night, you may go to Kyoto Station or go to Kawaramachi. I think it is good to say that it is a break in Kyoto where both of them have become an international tourist destination now, and it is possible to stay within 10000 yen per night on weekdays. If it is divided only by sleeping, it should be a good choice.

京都の中心部で大変安く泊まれました。地下鉄の駅からは５分ぐらい歩きますがバス停はすぐです。中はとても綺麗です。残念なことは壁が薄いのか隣の人の声が聞こえたり物音が聞こえたりすることと（でも数分でした）フロントの前にインターネットをスタッフの人に言って立ち上げてもらうのですが、自分で勝手に出来たらもっと気楽かなあと思いました。（まだガラケーなので） あと、部屋にデジタル時計が置いてあってパッと見て時間がわかりとても便利でした。とにかく格安で助かりました。
