The location of the hotel is excellent because it take 5-10 minites from hotel to Kyoto station. It was very convenient for me if I am traveling to all the scenery nearby Kyoto. Food and beverages is available surrounding the hotel, you can just have a light breakfast and then start to travel to your destination of choices.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Tokyo Stay Kyoto Sanjo Karasuma during my visit to Kyoto, and I must say it was a delightful experience. The staff members were consistently helpful throughout my stay, always ready to assist with any inquiries or requests I had. The room I stayed in was cozy, comfortable, and well-appointed. Despite being compact, it offered ample space for a solo traveler like myself. The bed was comfortable, and the room amenities were modern and well-maintained. I particularly appreciated the complimentary Wi-Fi, which was fast and reliable.

Clean and comfortable room with daily house keeping, comes with all the toiletries I needed. Conveniently located at 3 minutes walk from the closest subway exit and also close to bus stations for routes to popular sightseeing spots. Self-service check-out machine was easy to use and the process took only half a minute. Suggest to add a clothesline and a magnifying makeup mirror in the bathroom, and the room would be perfect.

The Prince Hotel was the most satisfying hotel in our trip to Kyoto. The hotel is located beside Lake Bipa with first-class scenery and comfortable environment. In particular, the hotel's dedicated bus pick-up service and the luggage delivery service at the Kyoto Station counter bring great convenience to guests, allowing us to arrange our itinerary as we wish. The hotel's breakfast is also very good. When you enjoy breakfast in the restaurant on the 37th and 38th floors, you can enjoy the beautiful view of Lake Biwa through the floor-to-ceiling glass windows! The only dissatisfaction is that check-in is required at 5 pm. If we arrive after 3 o'clock, if we want to check in in time, we will have to pay an additional 2,000 yen; it seems too inhumane.

Pros : Close to JR Kyoto station, just about 10 mins walk. Hotel looks quite new & very clean Rooms are spacious enough (considering Japan’s standard) Staff are generally friendly and always prompt to offer help. Very extensive breakfast buffet spread, literally one of the best we had before. Definitely worth booking a room package including breakfast. The only downside, the hotel tends to be a little overcrowded and bustling during our stay. It’s great for families but if you are looking for quiet or private getaway, then you may want to consider elsewhere.

3 stations from JR Kyoto Station, a 5-minute walk from Nijo Station on the subway Tozai Line, and a very convenient location right next to Sanjo Shopping Street, the longest shopping mall in Kyoto City. It looks like a machiya hotel along an alley in a residential area, but there is a large dining space and a communal kitchen in the lobby on the first floor. It is a newly built hotel that was just built this year, and there are 3 washing machines on each floor, which is very convenient for long stays. The rooms are full of beds, but the bathrooms are average size and the rooms with kitchens are said to be slightly larger. Just like a one-room apartment, there are many people who stay for a long time, and it seems that all the guests are getting along well with the kind men at the front desk and the international student staff, just like a boarding house. I felt it.

I think it is a newly rebranded hotel. The room i had was very spacious. It is very near to Takashimaya and the train station. Also walking distance from the central shopping district. Centralized enough to visit a few of the famous sites in Kyoto.

This is a no-frills, modern hotel (7-Eleven is next door). Our Twin Room was big and comfortable with a good-sized bathroom; a nice touch to have a fabric freshener spray near the coat hooks. It’s a walking distance to Omiya station along the Hankyu Line which includes Umeda (great for those coming from Osaka); close to downtown (Kawaramachi) where you can either walk or take the subway to attractions such as Nishiki Market (Shijo) and Gion (Gion-shijo).

Stayed at Kyoritsu Resort for the first time other than La Vista. Put your shoes in the clog box at the entrance like a Japanese-style ryokan. It goes straight up on the tatami mat. I really like the relaxing style, but I'm worried about customers who don't even wipe the carry case. I think it's the same as walking on a tatami mat with bare feet. It would be great if you could use disposable paper towels to wipe at the entrance. The free private bath is a type that you use after washing in the large public bath, just like La Vista. There are hot springs and others. It's enough because you can use the 30-minute time limit. Each person had a luxury of one place. Ice cream after taking a bath, morning drink, and night crying soba are common. As for the third one, I can't participate yet because late hours are heavy on my stomach. Dinner is a Japanese course. Choose from 6 types of obanzai at the end. All types can be refilled and returned. You can choose either rice or noodles for your meal. It's not a luxurious ingredient, but I'm satisfied with the volume and taste. Breakfast is a buffet. How much is common, but everyone seems to be less interested than Tokyo Bay. I had a lot. The room is a compact twin. Shoji screens and bamboo Towa style I want a space to put my bag. Amenity is also a style to bring what you need in common. No waste. Buffet of tea.The variety was delicious. I was also interested in Arashiyama, but I thought that mutual use would be convenient if there was mutual cooperation such as luggage delivery.
