Hotel Honnoji

We only stayed at this hotel for one night. It was the Gion Festival (festival) that day, and it happened to be celebrated outside the hotel. It was very lively! We wanted to stay at least one night in a traditional Japanese hotel. The corridors and entrances here looked very modern, but the rooms were clean. And it is equipped with a traditional toilet popular in Japan. Take off your shoes when entering, put on slippers, or go barefoot. Yes, the bathrooms here are indeed shared. However, we liked this very much! I took a shower while the bathroom was empty, no one came to disturb me, and my boyfriend took a shower with other people, but nothing embarrassing happened. There is also a yukata (summer kimono) in the room, which you can wear to take photos. As soon as we entered the hotel, we were given the WiFi password, and the Internet speed was very fast. The window of our room looked at the bustling streets of the city, and the luxurious government buildings across the street were very beautiful! After turning the corner, we came to a lively street full of restaurants, and we also went to a karaoke bar!

我們只在這家酒店住了一晚。那天正趕上祗園祭(節日),正好在酒店的外面慶祝,非常熱鬧! 我們本想至少在一家傳統日本酒店住一晚,這裏的走廊和門口看起來都很現代化,不過房間很乾凈,而且配有日本流行的傳統馬桶。進門要脫鞋,換上拖鞋,或者光腳。 不錯,這裏的浴室的確是公用的。不過,我們很喜歡這一點!趁衛生間沒人的時候我洗漱好了,沒有人來打擾,男友是和其他人一起洗的澡,不過沒有發生什麼尷尬。房間里還有浴衣(夏季和服),可以穿上拍照哦。 一進酒店便給了我們WiFi密碼,網速很快。我們房間的窗外是城市繁華的街道,街對面的政府豪華的建築,很漂亮! 拐過街角,便來到了一條熱鬧的大街,這裏遍布餐館,我們還去了一家卡拉OK酒吧!
