Travelodge Kyoto Shijo Kawaramachi

Kawaramachi
Very Clean and extremely convenient, considered transportation network of Kyoto is not as diverse as other major cities in Japan, you can explore the city on foot or by bus, for which the bus stop sited literally right next to the hotel. You can travel to the hotel from Kyoto station by bus or taxi, which takes only 10 mins by taxi. Very helpful and cheerful staff. Overall a pleasant stay

Gion/Kiyomizu Temple
The location is good, the transportation is very convenient, the hotel facilities are relatively new, and we were required to stay on the first floor or above. We arrived around 17:00 in the afternoon and were actually arranged to stay on the first floor (the room smelled too bad). We went out for dinner and a walk along the Kamo River and came back around 22:00, when a large number of individual travelers were queuing to check in (two tablets, self-service check-in in English and Japanese). There was no one to assist in receiving the black cat express luggage at the hotel, but there were staff (but they didn't want to face the guests directly). When we checked out after staying for three nights, we had already generated 3 large bags of garbage, but we could only tie up the bags and pile them in the living room (imagine if the garbage generated within 3 days has soup dripping on the carpet, how can it not generate odor and breed insects*), don't sit on the sofa, the boy is 17 years old and in good health. He was too tired to walk that day and sat on the sofa for a while, which caused rashes all over his body), everyone should think about the hygiene details

Nijo Castle
It's a long way from any railway station, but there are bus stops nearby. The room environment is clean and comfortable, and the facilities in the room are sufficient. In addition, because of a problem with the itinerary that day, it was too late to check in at Kyoto Station. Finally, I completed the procedures by phone and went directly to the room. The service was good.

We had a delightful stay at Hotel Pagong with M's in Kyoto. Although the room was compact, it was perfectly adequate for two guests. The service was consistently kind and attentive. The hotel's location is excellent, with a convenient 15-minute walk to Nishiki Market and both a 7-Eleven and Family Mart less than a block away. We highly recommend this hotel for its comfort, friendly service, and prime location.

Arashiyama/Sagano/Takao
It was a perfect experience. I came to Mount Takao during the cherry blossom season. There were not many people and it was very quiet. The maple trees in the mountains had just sprouted new buds. From time to time, there were a few tall cherry blossoms as white as snow. You can also see the cherry blossoms of various colors blooming on Mount Yoshino from a distance. The hotel facilities are a bit old, but the service is very good. The dinner is a Kyoto-style kaiseki cuisine, and the breakfast has the famous local soup tofu, which are very rich and beautiful. The hotel faces the stream, and everything you can see is lush and green, a beautiful spring scene. During the day, you can walk to the three surrounding temples. The boss is very enthusiastic. When we went down the mountain, he took us directly to the Arashiyama tram station to continue the next trip. Looking forward to coming again during the red leaf season!
