Quite a walk (~10-15minutes) from the train stations. Breakfast area was cramped but they provided takeout boxes.

Very good hotel, clean and staffs are friendly and helpful. Hotel has provide good breakfast and baggage storage in locker, free of charge. I will definitely visit this hotel again in near future.

One thing I do not understand why I have to pay extra tax when I check in, The total gas I paid is 1200 Japanese yuan. Please give me the explanation.

Room was very good but breakfast was very bad. Personnel didn't speak English and they weren't able to call a taxi for us.

Room to sleep was too small for me but all others is fine. They are all okay for living for a night transit.

I was disappointed about the breakfast. We need to line up to enter the meal room. No one was taking care on refill of food when there is nothing on the plate. One day even no rice n hot meals was refilled though I understand there were more visitors to Kyoto, in peak season.

The service is average. There is an additional charge for late check-out. One hour of delay will cost 1,000 yen. Be careful, be careful, be careful! Breakfast ends at 9 o'clock, which is a bit too early. The room is quite clean.

Take bus No. 9/50 from Kyoto Station to Horikawa Sanjo Station. After crossing the road, you will reach the hotel. The transportation is quite convenient. The hotel has newer equipment and free breakfast. It is a good accommodation choice for travelers with limited budget.

Accommodation in Kyoto is relatively expensive compared to Japan. As one of the largest hotel chains in Japan, Toyoko Inn can be understood as a plus version of Hanting, but the overall service and cleanliness are on a higher level. The rooms are not big but very clean, and come with breakfast, self-service toiletries, and DHC facial care portable packages, which are rare in China.

We couldn't book a double room yesterday, so we could only book a triple room. Finally, we booked a double room the next day. The hotel is very convenient to enter and exit, and free breakfast is provided. We stayed at Toyoko for two nights, which was good. The room is exquisite, well-equipped, clean and odorless. And the price is moderate. There is a microwave and ice water ice cube machine on the first floor, as well as large and small storage boxes for luggage. Very convenient and considerate. A small suggestion, the bathtub in this double room is a bit slippery. If it can be equipped with a non-slip mat, it will be perfect. This is my second time staying at this hotel. It is very close to Nijo Castle and there are some delicious food in the surrounding streets. The room is business-style and enough for accommodation. There are sofas and charging ports in the reception lobby, so you can rest while waiting for check-in.
