The room I stayed in had a fake window that was sealed shut. There was no ventilation at all, which was equivalent to having no window. There was no view, which was uncomfortable. The service and facilities were good. The breakfast was very exquisite.

The room is large and the environment is great. During my stay, the front desk staff spoke very good English and provided patient and thoughtful service.

A very cost-effective treasure hotel with a small number of rooms. It is located in an alley in downtown Kyoto. It is very convenient for transportation, meals and sightseeing in Kyoto. The English at the front desk is good, and there is a young lady who can speak Chinese. The service and hygiene are very good. As for the room, the decoration specifications are completely up to the standard of a five-star hotel, and the space is also very large, which is different from ordinary Japanese hotels. The only flaw is that the lighting is not that good, but considering that it is basically in the scenic spots during the day, this small flaw can be completely ignored.

Excellent hotel, so glad I found it. Very calm feeling about the place. Only 4 rooms per floor, and 5 floors. Very soothing atmosphere with spacious rooms, fantastic shower and thoughtful layout. Has a washer/dryer which costs ¥600 for one wash/dry. Breakfast was small but high quality. Lounge had coffee machine, beer and wine and snacks for the evening. Finally the staff went out of their way to help as we were there during a typhoon and gave us information on how to get to Tokyo!
