The hotel was nice but the location was a bit far from where the downtown area was. Also the windows were tinted with a plastic film, could not see outside. Finally the AC was not stable that was a bit problematic but all and all it was a nice place.

Love this mercure kyoto
Is quiet And Clean And nice decor
Lots of choices for bfast too
The thing that weird is only the tinted window — it will be great if can see outside clearly 🫣🫣

The hotel is located near Kyoto Station at about 10 mins walking distance. Some great restaurants around and several convenience stores as well.
Room is spacious and comfortable, you will have no complaint about their services and cleaness. Surely will recommend to others.

Not very far from Kyoto station. Clean and friendly staff. It was great travel with 4yo kid

It’s not very near the Kyoto station especially because there is no underground link to the hotel from the main station. You will need to walk along the main road and it’s not very good for the luggage wheels as the roads are not smooth. There is also no gym in this hotel. Will probably try other hotels the next time if I’m visiting Kyoto.
