The hotel is located near the Kyoto Imperial Palace and Kamogawa River, with a quiet environment. The hotel follows the Japanese service concept to make guests feel at home. The minimum room area is 50 square meters, which is rare in Japan

A luxury hotel with first-class service. It's a pity that I left in a hurry after only staying one night. Special thanks to the housekeeper for helping to reserve a kimono photography experience. The Japanese food is good, you can try it.

The Ritz-Carlton in Kyoto is much less cost-effective than the Ritz-Carlton in Osaka. Not to mention it is one or two times more expensive, and the Japanese and American breakfasts are both inferior. However, you can make udon noodles or fruit platter by special request. The service is still very enthusiastic. The hotel is located on the Kamogawa River, and it is very comfortable to walk along the river. In addition, it is a good experience to walk to Nishiki Market during the day and to Pontocho at night to eat and shop. When you are tired of shopping, you can have a spa treatment at the hotel, but remember to make a reservation in advance as the price is not cheap.

The hotel is near the river. It has an excellent location, quiet and has a very good environment. There are Japanese and Western breakfast options. Although the swimming pool is not big, it is very clean. I will come again if I have the opportunity.

The environment is very good, I like the welcoming water waterfall, very wabi-sabi style! Nice place for family, kids like it very much, will stay again next time🥹

Facilities: The restaurant is not as good as before. The management is quite chaotic and the food is not delicious. Hygiene: Overall it is clean and tidy, which is basically the standard in Japan. Environment: Very beautiful Japanese garden style, the hotel is not high, but very quiet. Service: I really have to complain about this, it’s really not as good as before. Even if I checked in on my birthday, the hotel didn't even have a card, candy or cake. There is a small cake even on the plane, and the bank even knows to send a blessing message. This is my second stay, but I will probably stay at another hotel in the future. Because at this price, the food is not as good as before and the service is not as good as before. I feel it is not worth it.

The service at Ritz is really great. Best choice for bringing children. The scenery of Kamogawa is actually average, but it is better because there are fewer people. In the morning there is a set meal, both Japanese and American. The Japanese style is very light. The croissant is very fragrant and delicious
