Hotel location is great, less than 5 minutes walk away from underground station. Lobby equipped with a small lounge that provides some bakeries and drinks for the hotel guests which is very generous and amazing. As it is my friend’s birthday trip, hotel made a warm and cute amenities for him which I am very appreciate for that. Using a limited resource to create a unexpected experience for the hotel guests, it makes me could feel their heart in hospitality.

Hotel location is not right smack near town area. But it’s a short walk to the subway station & local bus stop is nearby too.  The lobby area is also where we gather to have free flow of drinks (green tea, coffee, apple juice) & simple bread (the danish is yummy!), play board games or simply to chill and listen to music on the vinyl player .  Shower gel, face cream, dental kit , etc are free to take just before the lift lobby.

Surprisingly unique and affordable hotel just a step above business hotel in price but several steps above that in amenities, service, and staff. A quite comfortable “living room” on the first floor offers drinks and snacks all day, has games and books to borrow, and the staff keep the music going via vinyl all day long. I was staying with friends in separate rooms, so this made a great common area to meet and hang out for us.

Stayed in Kyoto for 5 days, still felt like not enough time, it was so beautiful∽ Continue to review the hotel, there is a 711 next to it, there are a lot of food, it is quite convenient to take a bus to Takashimaya Daimaru, and you can go directly to Uji Nara~

Great🌟👏Everything! A wonderful accommodation experience 1. Turn left and there is a 711. There are also drugstores and other convenience stores nearby. It is not far from the subway station 2. The hotel front desk is very cute, nice, and very helpful. They helped us get a taxi very carefully. The next day we were going to the pear blossom shop in Huajian. The little beauty at the front desk came out to tell the taxi driver so that the driver could take us to our destination more prepared. 3. As soon as we arrived at the hotel lobby, the two-layer automatic door slowly opened, and we heard the background music of interesting vinyl records. The guests were playing games and chatting freely in the lobby. I can only say that this contrast is too surprising in the ancient city of Kyoto. The hotel provides a variety of drinks, both free and paid. I can only say that the free ones have satisfied me too much. The coffee is delicious, and I have to mention that the hot milk is so delicious! This feels great👍 4. Although the room is small, the hygiene is very good👍The dry and wet separation makes it feel very good to live in. The space utilization of the room fully reflects the small and beautiful, and you will not find a place to put things. It is full of details. 5. We spent several nights at the Insomnia and felt completely at home the whole time. The rooms were quite spacious, everything was spotlessly clean and in top condition. The staff were extremely friendly and always helpful. Communication in English was no problem. The hotel is a few minutes' walk from a subway station (Karasuma Oike), it is close to the center in a quiet side street about halfway between the Old Imperial Palace and Nishiki Market (each about 20 minutes on foot); all the important sights are easily accessible by public transport. And there are also plenty of inexpensive and upscale cafes and restaurants. We enjoyed spending time in the lobby, where drinks and a few snacks are served on a buffet around the clock - the alcoholic ones are for an additional charge, the others are included in the price. There is a laundry room with a coin-operated washing machine and dryer, which we used. All in all, a clear recommendation, we would stay here again ourselves.

The most satisfying hotel I've stayed in Kyoto! I really recommend it. It's not only close to the subway entrance, but also next to a delicious bakery flip up. The entire room is very reasonably laid out, with dry and wet separations, and very clean. I don't have rhinitis, and the window can be opened a little for ventilation. I couldn't like this hotel more! ! I will choose to stay here next time I go to Kyoto! It's super close to Shinpukan~

The room is a typical small space of a Japanese hotel, small but complete. The more unique thing is the drinks and bread in the lobby, which is very suitable for people who get up late in the morning to fill their stomachs before going out. Although it is not in a busy area, the transportation is still convenient, and the subway station can be reached in five minutes.

The front desk of this store is very good and it is also close to the subway entrance. There is free milk, coffee, juice and bread in the lobby on the first floor. It is equivalent to providing breakfast. The most favorite thing about this place is the service attitude of the hotel front desk. I am very satisfied

It's on a small road beside Karasuma Oike. It's very quiet. The exterior is also traditional and retro. I only took a few photos of the lobby. The staff are very young and friendly. There are many free drinks in the lobby, such as tea, coffee, juice, and hot water! There are also bread, cakes, etc. It's very friendly~ Turn right and walk two steps to the famous bakery flip up. It's full of fireworks in the early winter morning. It feels very warm. The Shinfukan is also not far away, very suitable for shopping~

I went to Kyoto with my friends and booked a room long in advance. The area was quite large, which is definitely spacious in Japan. There was bread and plenty of juice on the first floor every day. The tea supply was very convenient. It might be because there was no breakfast, which was another way of service. Every staff member was very enthusiastic, young and energetic. You can also use free bicycles outside the hotel, but unfortunately I never had a chance to ride one. The hotel has many guests from various countries, and there is a simple sand pot ball game in the lobby. It was a very good accommodation experience and I will stay there next time. 

📍Location: Near Nijo Castle, Karasuma Subway Line-Karasuma Oike Station (Exit 2 is the closest, but the subway station elevator is at Exit 3, which can be selected as needed), it is very convenient to go to Arashiyama. The area is quiet and convenient as a whole, and it is not a place where tourists gather. There are drugstores, supermarkets, izakayas, and ramen shops nearby; 🍻Facilities: The hotel facilities are quite new, with dry and wet separation, and the bathroom is very comfortable to use. The lobby serves bread, juice, Americano, and green tea all day, and plastic bottled drinks will be provided at check-in, which is very considerate. Whiskey and beer vending machines are provided, which can be purchased at your own expense; it seems that there are also bicycle rentals and board game rentals. Paid luggage delivery service is provided, and you can consult the front desk if you need it. 🚪Room: This time I was arranged on the second floor. Although the room has a window, it is covered with frosted paper, so you can't actually see the outside. If you mind, you can inform the front desk at check-in.
