As our family of five, hotels near Talan Mountain are on the expensive side, so we stumbled upon this hotel with a large room type and affordable price, which suited our needs. To get to the hotel's front desk and rooms, you need to climb up and down stairs (it may be an old building renovated, but it has a warm Japanese style). Since we are driving by ourselves, it takes 3-5 minutes to walk to the free parking space, but the luggage is large (next to Hankyu Arashiyama Station). The handsome and beautiful staff are very dedicated to help carry the luggage to the room. The Lobby has a lot of Arashiyama travel information (coincidentally) During the summer festival, there are also Japanese nostalgic traditional gadgets for tourists. Overall, the hotel is close to residential areas but the room is very large and overlooks Arashiyama. The environment is very comfortable and quiet. Before leaving the hotel, the handsome and beautiful staff wrote a thank you card personally, which made us feel even sweeter.

The hotel has an industrial style design with an area of ​​50-60 square meters. There is a living room at the entrance, and there is a bedroom by the window when you go in, with two beds, and a tatami on the opposite side that can accommodate 2-3 people. The room provides 2 sets of bedding, but an additional fee is required - 2,400 yen per set. Toiletries are complete and slippers are provided (provided in all hotels in Japan). There is breakfast, a set meal, and enough to eat. The service attitude is very good, the hotel does not have an elevator, and the handsome guy helped us carry our luggage. The front desk is on the second floor, up the stairs on the right. The first floor is the breakfast place.

Except for the stupid size of the room, the rest of it really doesn't deserve to be called "luxury". When I checked in, there was a Southeast Asian girl at the front desk who was not very fluent in Japanese and English. She obviously booked three nights for three adults and one child, but she actually said that the child could not be accommodated. It took a long time to say that it was OK, and that the child did not include breakfast. , can't have breakfast. Not only the attitude is bad, but the communication ability is negative. Japan is really short of people. How dare you use such a front desk? I'm speechless. There are many inexplicable flaws in the design of the room. For example, the bed frame is the same color as the floor, but is much larger than the mattress, making it very easy to bump into. Overall, I don’t feel the sincerity of the design, and there is no sense of beauty. The photos are quite deceptive. I won’t come here again.

The room is comfortable and suitable for families. Please note that the places to eat in Arashiyama either close early or require reservations. Be sure to make reservations in advance.

The environment is very good, and the room type is very spacious, which is very suitable for family outings. Next time you come to Arashiyama, Kyoto, you can come. I highly recommend breakfast and coffee. I like it very much.
