G/f layout is very strange with restaurant/ breakfast place, being cut into 2 halves by the lobby lounge. You can’t enjoy your breakfast at all coz 1) I have to hold a tray with food carefully walk through the huge crowds, 2) more luckily I got Australian tour & Taiwan tour today, over 50 people including eaters & tourists gathered at the lounge+breakfast place chatting waiting to set off. Then the tour guide yell with high voice for announcements. What a lovely scene. If you like meeting vibrant & overwhelming global tours or groups of secondary school students dashing around, that’s the place for you.

Enough space, clean and convenience, near station, polite staff. Many restaurants and super markets around. Highly recommended

The hotel is quite new and updated. The spa is an added advantage. The facilities provided are good like tea bags, hot water, utensils and room materials.

Room is clean and size is decent; location is not the best as it takes around 8 mins walk from Nijo JR.

La'gent is a local hotel chain. Good proximity to Nijo, Shijo, Kyoto Stn...a bus stop right in front of the hotel is a big plus point. + Another plus point is the public bath, hotel guest get to use the facilities without paying extra charges. + High quality Yukata bath robes - Less f&b options around the area - room cleaning is only done once in 2 days Overall recommended for travelling family

Loving the stylish design of the hotel lobby. The room is comfortable, clean and tidy.

Location not the best. No water provided, was advised to buy from nearby convenience stall. Washroom is pretty small (like a plane lavatory).

5 star hotel but 2 star price , facilities are new I can’t believe it is true. I will be back.
