The Hotel is located in the center of Kunming. Two metro lines just nearly. One line direct deserve the airport and the other one direct rich the south railway station. By foot one can go to the historical city center. We booked the suite 2026 which is very spacious with big windows, overview the city. The decoration is outdated. The bed is pretty old. Sometimes the AC doesn’t work well. Breakfast is very good. All the stuff are very helpful and friendly. Overall is not a real 5 stars hotel but the price is very fair for what you get.

The price-performance ratio is extremely high, and it was the best experience among our self-driving tours! The location is also very good. My bag was lost in the hotel, but the lady at the front desk and the manager were so reliable. It was mailed to Dali again, and the overall experience was very good! ! ! The location of the hotel is very good, right in the city center and within walking distance from the old street. It is also very clean. The room is very good and the bedding is very comfortable. The breakfast is very rich. I like it very much. The staff is also very nice. Thank you to the front desk. The service of housekeeper Kong Lingbo, she introduced some characteristics of Kunming and sent luggage all the way to the room, very good service😀😊

I thought this hotel was good value for money, considering its 5 stars and location in downtown Kunming. The room was spacious and the bathroom was well appointed, with a lovely bath(with very hot water which I often find lacking) and a shower with great water pressure. The only downsides were that I found the room itself(not the bathroom) to be a bit outdated in terms of the fixtures and fittings. Also, the gentleman who checked me in wasn’t particularly friendly. He couldn’t speak English(which is not a problem at all, although I would expect it in a five star hotel) but he didn’t say a word to me throughout the entire check in process until he gave me my key. There’s much more to communication than just language and I felt his customer service skills were a bit lacking considering his position on a reception desk.

I had a very nice stay at this hotel. It is beautifully decorated and very clean. The room was super comfortable with the small balcony overlooking the Flower and Birds Market. The hotel is in a good location, a short walk from the Ancient city and the subway line that goes to the airport. The staff was friendly and nice.

A big part of a good holiday experience is the hotel you stay in. This is one of the best hotels we have experienced whilst travelling through Yunnan. From the customer relations girls at reception to the cleaning ladies, Mengjin group staff excels in providing warm, friendly service to all their guests. Location is perfect for first time visitors to Kunming, you get to experience the old and the new just a short walk away. The hotel has exceptional standards with quality furnishings and bedding. Rooms are well appointed, the bed is comfortable and the soundproofing is fantastic. Breakfast is a limited choice of noodles but it is sumptuous and fulfilling. I especially like the coffee machine where you can get unlimited quality coffee anytime you want. We stayed at Moon Shine when we arrived and at this hotel Moon Shy before departing. Will definitely look out for this group's other outlets and will definitely stay here again! Thank you to the service staff for being so helpful, kind and caring. Special mention to housekeeping auntie who washed my socks ❤️. No 6 star hotel will ever give you that warmth.

We made the right choice to stay in this hotel! The ladies and the guy at the service desk are extremely helpful, went all the way out with our questions on where to visit, how to go, where for good food as we didn't really plan before we arrived kunming. They also gave us good advice on our next stop, Dali. The location is fantastic, just 2 mins to one of the popular restaurants for the rice noodles. Just across the main road, it would be the main shopping district Zhengyi Road (where u can shop for branded goods) and old streets for local products and food. Highly recommended for good service and location. The room is comfortable and clean, too. WiFi is good for local apps.

Perfect location. Exactly at Jinbi Square. Near to shopping street. For muslim, near to mosque and halal food. No need to worry to find sovenir as you can find them easily near the hostel. Enough plug point and the staff are helpful too. Definitely will recommend to others

The room is very tidy and more than enough for a family of three. The location is amazing. It faces Jinma Square and Nanqiang Night Market. It is very convenient to get in and out. The room is very warm. You basically need to open the window to sleep at night. It is not noisy. Breakfast is provided and the boss is friendly. Very nice!

The staff was very helpful and attentive. The room was clean but the bathroom was not private and could be seen through glass. This is not my preference. It would also be helpful if the WiFi password was numbers instead of being in Chinese characters. It makes it difficult for foreigners to access. The breakfast offered was very good.

The landlord’s beauty is very enthusiastic. She talked about the weather in Kunming one day in advance and posted about the clothes on the street, which made us take a lot of clothes. When they arrived, they contacted us in time and told us how to get to the room, so that we could avoid detours, and the room was decorated very warm and homely. What happened to the room, the beautiful landlord dealt with it in time, and brought us early when I came. As an out-of-towner, I was really touched to meet such a landlord. Next time I come to Kunming, I will still live here.

This is the most shocking hotel I have ever stayed in. First of all, when I arrived at the hotel entrance, there were floors to climb. I grabbed two large suitcases. It was really inconvenient. The lobby is on the 8th floor, and the other 5, 6, and 7 floors are Guest rooms, but you don’t need to take a card to enter the room, which feels relatively unsafe. The hotel claims to be a smart hotel, but the public Wi-Fi network is often disconnected. You have to leave the projection screen on to connect to the independent Wi-Fi in the room. The projection screen cannot Once it was turned off, I couldn't use Wi-Fi. What shocked me was that the power suddenly went out while I was taking a shower in the middle of the night. I called the front desk and was told that the circuit breaker had tripped. This happened for two consecutive nights. The sound insulation of the hotel is very poor, the sound of flushing water upstairs and the sound of door closing outside can be clearly heard! So the hotel provides earplugs! The service from the lady at the front desk was pretty good!

Great location near Wuyi metro station, couple of malls with lots of eateries, and the vibrant Old Street. The hotel design and services are more traditional and reminds me of an older Marriott, but everything was in good shape and my room was comfortable and well supplied. The breakfast had an okay Chinese and Yunnanese selection.

This is a nice hotel in a charming courtyard, but tourists might want to base themselves closer to Cuihu Lake, where the cafes and restaurants are. The bathroom was especially great - shower had high pressure and really hot water. The staff were kind and kept our bags during the day while we were out. My only complaint is the very uncomfortable pillows (which were old and way too high) and the lack of soundproofing.

The room was pretty good and the hotel is in a good location. It's about 10 minutes' drive from Kunming Station. It's just over a kilometer away from the Golden Horse and Jade Rooster and Nanqiang Old Street, which is relatively close. The service attitude of the guy at the restaurant on the 8th floor was very good. My child went back to the room early without eating a few bites of breakfast because he felt uncomfortable. After communicating with the guy at the restaurant, he allowed us to bring breakfast back to the room for the child. This was really great! Must praise!

The location is very close to all the major shopping areas. There is central heating but not temperature is not too warm. The bedroom has a wall that shield you from the bathroom. Minor drawback is the electric outlet in the bathroom and desk area not practically located. The better walk to the hotel is from Dongfeng Guangchang metro station.

It Is a mother to be type of care center on the 10 th floor.It is not suitable for late check in ( mid night) because you have to call the owner to open the security door for you to check in when you don't have China phone number or internet. The owner is very kind but the room is small. Pros : It offers free water refill machine and there is plenty of eateries around the complex building.
