Highly recommend the Duplex Two-bedroom parent-child room if you are travelling with children. The room is cosy and comes with thoughtful, kid-friendly amenities such as a potty seat, two-step stepper, room slipper, Lego, soft toys, etc. The staff are also friendly and helpful when I requested some help with returning the power bank even when I arrived at the hotel at almost 10pm. Additionally, there is a wide selection of breakfast for you to preorder in advance. Truly enjoyed our stay here.

I’m extremely satisfied with my stay. I got injured during a hike and when I came back to the hotel I simply asked the reception if they had some ice, but Ms. Long Xiaoshi went far beyond that, she even offered to take me to the hospital and accompanied me there. The service was far more than I expected, and I truly felt cared for. The breakfast was good and the location is convenient. Highly recommended.

As expected of an aesthetic residence in Shangandi, Kunming Panshanju perfectly interprets the poetic residence described by Wang Zengqi. From the dining room to the living room, it is perfectly decorated with sofas and chairs by Liaigre and Xieyi Space. The decorator is ecstatic. In just two days, it has given too many soft furnishing inspirations. The hotel is in an excellent location, facing Dianchi Lake. The observation deck on the 4th floor can see Xishan Mountain. The guest room design is well versed in wabi-sabi aesthetics, integrating local culture into modern texture. I stayed at Cachet Boutique Hotel Kunming on 25–26 October and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is located a little away from the main pedestrian street, but the area around it has plenty of lively bars and cafés that attract a younger crowd — great if you enjoy a vibrant atmosphere. The hotel itself was clean, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully designed. I was really impressed by the stylish decor, quality amenities, and the spacious room layout. We were also pleasantly surprised to receive a free room upgrade, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Checking in/out was fast and hassle free. As an additional benefit, the hotel is located 10 minutes from the train station. Overall, it’s excellent value for money — I’d definitely recommend Cachet Boutique Hotel to anyone visiting Kunming who’s looking for comfort, style, and a touch of local charm.

The hotel environment is quite good; the lobby is grand and impressive. The front desk staff were professional and welcoming, their smiling service deserves praise. However, there was a bit of a wait for the bellhop to help with luggage to the room after check-in, perhaps understandable given it was late at night. The breakfast was average, nothing spectacular, though there was a decent variety. The rice noodles, in particular, weren't anything special. I really appreciated the detail that the front desk called to ask if I needed room cleaning while I was out, since I hadn't specifically requested it with housekeeping or the front desk. The room size was just right, not too big, not too small. It's directly opposite the Twin Towers and very close to Wanda Plaza. Other attractions are also reasonably accessible, and taxis are easy to get. Check-out was quick, and the bellhop was very proactive in helping with luggage to the car when I left, which definitely increased my positive impression of the hotel. For an older hotel, it's quite well-maintained overall. I would suggest upgrading the hair dryers. All in all, it was a good stay, and I recommend it!

After the trip, I finally have time to write a review of the accommodation. The location of the hotel in the villa area is also very easy to find, and the staff will greet you at the door. I originally booked a room with floor-to-ceiling windows on the first floor, but later I upgraded the room. I am super grateful to the lady~ The hotel as a whole is very textured, with details everywhere. It is really the most satisfactory accommodation in the whole trip! ! In addition, the service is too considerate, afternoon tea, sweet porridge in the evening, a hearty breakfast, and a gift for leaving the store. The boss is really running the business with heart. If you are hesitant when you see this homestay, you might as well give it a try. You will definitely not be disappointed! (I am really not a shill, I really recommend it! !

The location is fantastic, right in the city center. It's within walking distance of Kunming Old Street, Nanping Street, Zhengyi Square, and Shuncheng, and only about 2-3 kilometers from Green Lake. Highly recommended for tourists! The front desk staff are incredibly welcoming; they even helped us with our luggage and went out of their way to assist with any requests we had. The lobby doubles as a coffee shop, so you can grab a morning iced Americano, and there's also a tea station. It's truly a 'multifunctional' hotel, offering everything you could need. I'll definitely be back. Five-star recommendation!!

The staff were very attentive and considerate from check-in to check-out! We were traveling with children and arrived early to leave our luggage at the hotel. They provided us with the most suitable family room, along with thoughtful breakfast and dinner services. The hotel has laundry and drying facilities, which were very convenient. There are two outdoor swimming pools and two spa pools, which both we and our children loved—they were great for relieving travel fatigue. Highly recommended!

After checking in, I immediately understood why this hotel receives so many glowing reviews. I rarely leave feedback, but this place absolutely deserves one! The value for money is truly outstanding. The hotel itself is stylish and immaculately clean, and the staff's service is impeccable. Both the mattress and shower head are excellent. What truly impressed me, though, was their laundry service – you simply hand your clothes to the front desk, and they return them washed, dried, and perfectly folded. This is a level of convenience I've never experienced at any other hotel. The location is also fantastic. Nestled in a residential area, there are numerous affordable eateries and even a local fresh produce market within walking distance. Maitreya Park is also very close by, perfect for a refreshing morning or evening stroll. It's simply an ideal setup. The only minor area for improvement would be the power outlets; there are too few, and some are quite difficult to plug into. I later stayed at a hotel in Chenggong for a night at a similar price point, and the difference in quality was absolutely massive.

To be objective, the amenities were standard, and room service was very responsive (they promptly registered our license plate, which made exiting with our vehicle very convenient). Fresh bottled water and slippers were replenished daily. However, the beam directly above the bed in the upstairs bedroom of the loft unit was an absolutely terrible design choice. Every single person in our family bumped their head on it during our stay 🙃. Anytime you leaned down to grab something from the bedside table or charge a device, you were almost guaranteed to hit your head. This is made even worse by the Chinese Feng Shui taboo of a 'beam pressing down on people.' I genuinely have to wonder where this building's interior designer received their training. The apartment's location was quite good, with a subway station downstairs and a shopping mall diagonally across the street. Ordering food delivery was also very convenient.
