"The room itself was excellent – clean, tidy, and definitely felt like a mid-to-high-end property. We were pleasantly surprised with two unique flower cakes upon check-in, which was a lovely touch. Overall, it offered great value for money. Service: However, the front desk service was extremely disappointing. As a frequent business traveler, I'm used to staying in hotels, and the contrast here was stark. There were two women and one man on duty. Their communication during check-in was stiff and rigid. While one woman was processing our request, the other two were chatting and laughing loudly amongst themselves, completely ignoring us. Such unprofessional front desk staff truly do not live up to the hotel's otherwise high standards and pleasant environment."

"This is one of the best hotels I've stayed at this year. There's a night market right next door, but the double-glazed windows completely block out any noise when closed. The front desk even provided soundproof earplugs, though I didn't end up needing them. There's also a coffee shop on the ground floor, and we got a 'buy one get one free' deal upon check-in, which was a lovely bonus. My friend and I each enjoyed a cup. All the hotel staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Highly recommended!"

"Excellent Hotel, the staff at the reception is extremely helpful and kind. Since it is located in a place where cars can't access, they can come and greet/send you off to the nearest road (no more than a minute of walking). The breakfast options are great and even as someone who hates eating breakfast because it makes me feel uncomfortable, I loved it and it was a great start to climb the West Mountain. Access to the metro to go to the mountain is really close by. They're right in front of the Golden horse and Jade Chicken gate which leads to the center with many food stores. 10/10 will book this hotel on my next trip to Kunming."

"The hotel room was incredibly spacious, featuring a split-level design. The downstairs area was perfect for relaxing or enjoying tea, while the upstairs provided a comfortable space for rest. The front desk staff were very warm and welcoming. An added convenience was the hotel's self-service laundry room. In the evenings, the surrounding area boasted plenty of BBQ stalls, ideal for a late-night snack, and there were also numerous food delivery options available. Being on a high floor, the views were expansive and impressive. Overall, I was extremely satisfied."

"This hotel is located near the department store and Golden Horse and Jade Rooster Archway in Nanping Pedestrian Street. The room is equipped with a separate toilet and shower. The breakfast was varied and tasty. I like the Asian corner with some congee and Chinese dumpling soup. The coffee was great and the selections of fruits and pastry were a great choice. Highly recommend!"

"The hotel is conveniently located very close to both the train station and high-speed rail station, offering easy access to dining, shopping, and public transport. This makes it ideal for business trips or a convenient stopover. The front desk staff were friendly, handled check-in efficiently, and provided attentive, thoughtful service, even accommodating personalized requests. The rooms were spotlessly clean, featuring comfortable beds and all essential amenities. They were also spacious and bright, with plenty of natural light."

"Minimalist approach by the hotel needs improvement, the towels are little old and best replaced, the toiletry is basic and needs to be replenished with more without asking There were two receptionists, one is very polite and helpful providing a very pleasant service. however, the other is completely opposite, being unhelpful, provides bare minimum in answer and seems that any query is a bother to her. So training to upskilled to the latter is required. The accommodation is a motel style that is close to the Tangzixiang metro and walking distance to the kunming old town . Very convenient for travellers who just need a bed and a shower to rest. Overall a pleasant stay."

"Couldn’t ask more for Atour Hotel. Everything meets or exceeds our expectations. The room is good size, amenities are modern and functional; super comfortable beds and pillows; the breakfast is delicious; the location is second to none (eateries, shopping all nearby); and last but not least, the staff are very friendly and helpful. We even got a takeaway breakfast on the day of checking out because our train was early morning and had no time to have breakfast at the restaurant. Will definitely recommend to everyone who come to Kunming!"

"Arrived at the front desk was greeted and served by 大肘子 swift and polite response with a friendly and caring team. 大肘子 constantly checking on guest for any concerns and comfortability during my stays. The hotel is located in the heart of great amenities, shopping malls, 24/7 street food stalls as soon as you stepped out. Walking distance to Old Beijing street with lots of shops and attractions. The hotel is well maintained and cleaned. The room is cleaned and spacious, well equipped with a good hair dryer and a clothes steamer. There is a gym, laundry room with detergent for Free usage. The breakfast offers a wide range of varieties. Overall the front staffs are helpful. Definitely recommend this hotel ."

"Hygiene: The hotel is brand new, spotlessly clean, and free from any unpleasant odors. Environment: The view from our window was superb, overlooking distant fields and villages. The morning breeze was wonderfully cool and refreshing. We even heard the neighbor's geese, which added a unique, charming touch to the atmosphere. Facilities: Laundry facilities are available, including a washing machine and dryer. Service: The service was outstanding! They provide 24-hour airport pick-up, and during the day, a shuttle runs hourly to both the airport and the subway station."
