"I accidentally misplaced a laundry bag while doing my laundry. It was a souvenir I'd brought from my previous hotel and something I was quite fond of. The staff offered to check the security cameras for me, but I told them it wasn't worth the hassle for something of such little value. To my surprise, they called me that afternoon to inform me they had found the laundry bag – what a wonderful surprise! The hotel's service was outstanding, and the breakfast restaurant had a lovely ambiance. Photos included!"

"Extremely satisfied with this booking, as the staff allowed us to extend our late check-out, knowing that our children needed to take an afternoon nap. The location is also in the middle of the busiest area in Kunming and near the old street. Many shopping centers, as well as next to the central square, where you can see locals dancing at night. There’s also a dog/cat cafe in the building opposite, hence many activities for families with young children to do."

"Holiday Inn Kunming City Centre – this place is truly a luxurious hideaway in the urban jungle! The location is absolutely unbeatable, placing you right in the heart of Kunming the moment you step out. Shopping, dining, and sightseeing attractions are all within easy walking distance; it's so convenient, my navigation app felt completely redundant. The room was so spacious it felt like there was a VIP lane just for my luggage. The bed was so incredibly soft, it could turn anyone into a 'Sleeping Beauty' (though I was most likely roused by the morning sun). The bathroom boasted water pressure strong enough to almost surf, turning a simple shower into a mini-vacation by Dian Lake. But the absolute highlight was breakfast: freshly prepared Cross-Bridge Noodles and Flower Pastries, and even the soy milk carried that unique Yunnan sweetness. I nearly turned the hotel into my personal canteen! The gentleman at the front desk had a smile as bright and inviting as Kunming's weather. Upon check-out, he even surprised me with a packet of Pu'er tea as a thoughtful souvenir. This gesture alone instantly made me a loyal fan! Next time I'm in Kunming, my feet will undoubtedly find their way back here automatically. After all, who could bear to leave this 'happy haven' where the entire city feels effortlessly at your fingertips?"

"Our stay was absolutely perfect and definitely deserves a five-star rating! Excellent Location: The hotel's location is superb, perfectly situated in the city center, right by the subway and key attractions. This made shopping, dining, and sightseeing incredibly convenient, significantly cutting down on travel time. Spotless Cleanliness: The room was immaculately cleaned, with crisp, soft white bedding. The bathroom was sparkling bright and completely odor-free. Their disinfection protocols were also very thorough and well-executed. Outstanding Service: The service was truly exceptional. From the warm welcome by the doorman upon arrival to the efficient and professional check-in at the front desk, every single staff member greeted us with a smile and a proactive 'hello'. Any issues were addressed with impressive speed, genuinely making us feel like valued guests and completely at home."

"The hotel boasts an excellent central location, right in the heart of the city. Stepping out, you're immediately in a bustling commercial district, and the pedestrian street, packed with dining options, is just a short walk away – incredibly convenient! The front desk staff were incredibly warm and friendly, and they even offered a complimentary room upgrade. Our room wasn't particularly spacious, but being on a higher floor, it offered fantastic views, especially the beautiful city nightscape. However, waiting for the elevators could be a bit slow. The room's amenities were comprehensive, and we were generally very pleased. The only minor point for improvement was that the toilet seat didn't seem thoroughly cleaned, despite disposable covers being provided. The breakfast offered a wide variety of dishes, though the taste was just average."

"Minimalist approach by the hotel needs improvement, the towels are little old and best replaced, the toiletry is basic and needs to be replenished with more without asking There were two receptionists, one is very polite and helpful providing a very pleasant service. however, the other is completely opposite, being unhelpful, provides bare minimum in answer and seems that any query is a bother to her. So training to upskilled to the latter is required. The accommodation is a motel style that is close to the Tangzixiang metro and walking distance to the kunming old town . Very convenient for travellers who just need a bed and a shower to rest. Overall a pleasant stay."

"The Grand Hyatt is currently the most highly recommended hotel in Kunming. From its prime location, exceptional hotel quality, superb service ethos, to the diverse culinary offerings, it truly stands out as the best in Kunming. While I used to prefer staying at the InterContinental when visiting Kunming, the Grand Hyatt clearly has the upper hand in terms of location. It's right next to Plaza 66 (Henglong Plaza), making shopping and dining incredibly convenient. Plus, there are numerous attractions nearby, all within walking distance."

"One of the best stay I had in Yunnan. The area is as shown in the pictures, the lobby full of flowers and jungle theme. There is no lift, so you have to carry your luggage upstairs to level 1. But the owner was very helpful and offer hands to carry our luggage upstairs as well. Also offer help to throw our damaged luggage. The location is only few minutes walks away to the shopping mall. The location is quiet strategic, closer to Jinma Bijifang but quiet a walk to halal foods. We love this place so much and its a great place to stay! Definitely will book here again if we got a chance to come by."

"B&B facilities are very complete good hygiene Lush greenery outside the B&B Booked for Starry Sky I chose to come to Kunming to escape the heat. It just so happens that Kunming is also the hottest in the past few days at 26° (still very comfortable! It’s cool. It’s not as hot as 40° in other places). The starry sky room is located near the roof. The sun has been shining all day, and the indoor temperature will be a bit stuffy. Air conditioning is needed to cool down. (I don’t think locals in Yunnan have ever experienced such a hot Yunnan😂) The overall stay experience was good. As for the skylight, the surrounding lights are still very bright at night, so you can't see anything."
