the location is most excellent, in the heart of the old “wuhua” town where everything was a stone throw walk away. the nanqiang pedestrian street is 5mins walk away, filled with lots of street food to explore. pharmacy and convenience store located directly opposite. the metro is 8mins walk away. the the staff is friendly and very helpful, providing directions and advice on how to get around via wechat. they helped with changing small change for easy shopping. every evening, they served a lovely tea which we absolutely loved. the building itself is a heritage building, conserved well!

Just love the place and decided to extend. That shows how good this place is. My husband was unwell and receptionist helped to get the medicine needed

Fantastic location, walking distance to eateries and restaurants. Subway(wuyi station) is just an easy 5min walk which is an interchange for line 5 and 3. Room is spacious and comes with heating which is good for us when we visited early March . Unique design and the hotel itself is a tourist attraction!

This is my second stay at this hotel. The staff are friendly and the location is very convenient for food and get-about in the city. The metro is about 5-10 minutes walk away. You can reach the airport in less than an hour.

Best location in kunming historical building memorable stay

The location of this hotel is perfect! The service was immaculate and the room, while small, was very comfy and cozy. I would love to pay another visit in the future.

The experience was excellent :-)) We got a free upgrade to a bigger and very quiet room. The location of hotel is perfect in the center of the city. We had also the underground in less than 5 minutes walking distance. The given recommendations were great and personal fitting. Even we got tips for our further trip in Yunnan. We only can say: 了不起 ！！！

What a lovely hotel this is. Located in a beautifully restored historic building in a tourist area that is very popular with people taking photos outside. It is located very close to Line 3 metro (10-minute walk at most) which make it convenient for getting to/from the airport, train station, and Western Hills. When we arrived, we were greeted by a very friendly man who gave us a refreshing cool floral drink whilst he checked us in. His English was really good, which was great as we do not speak Chinese. We were shown to our room (Number 5) which was just so nice – large, clean, beautifully decorated, with the most comfortable bed & pillows. The shower was amazing, in fact, I wanted to move in immediately! I was a little concerned when I booked about the fact there is no air conditioning, but I didn’t have to worry. There was a large, powerful ceiling fan and all the windows open (with mosquito screens to keep the nasty creatures out!) to allow the refreshing breeze in. Much nicer than AC, in my opinion. We did not have the breakfast so I can not comment. But every evening, someone came to the room and left us a flask of tea with a small note describing the ingredients and how it would soothe and unwind us. These little touches really made the stay perfect. We were returning to Kunming for one night at the end of our trip, and I enjoyed our stay at this hotel so much, I rebooked for our final night. I would highly recommend and will DEFINITELY stay here again if I return to Kunming

The room design is very special. Although there is no air conditioning, the weather in Kunming is not hot. Downstairs is the old street, Oriental Bookstore, Abnormal Coffee, Aocheng Building and other popular attractions are nearby. The hotel service is very attentive, so that everyone who stays in the hotel can understand the history of the hotel building. The staff is very enthusiastic. Living here is convenient for sightseeing and understanding historical buildings, and experiencing a different feeling of staying.

It is a stylish hotel, and any photos taken in the public areas are very good. The lady at the front desk is very enthusiastic and full of emotional value. The accommodation experience is very good. I will choose to stay here again when I come to Kunming next time.

It feels like walking into history, a hotel that brings you warmth, living in a suite on the third floor, opening the window and looking down at the streets with people coming and going, feeling like you are in a painting, and you are The protagonist in the painting feels indescribable. I recommend everyone to experience it if you have the opportunity.

I am really glad that we chose Ruoan Duiyue Tower as our first stop on this trip to Yunnan. Because this is a tour group arranged by myself, I have a lot of things to prepare. Before checking in, I asked the hotel to collect a lot of online shopping items and domestic mobile phone cards. The hotel manager agreed without saying a word. Since there were too many items, they thoughtfully arranged to upgrade our room (thank you very much 🙏) We arrived in Kunming very late on the day of check-in. The guy at the front desk who checked us in was very attentive and helped us carry our luggage to the room. He also enthusiastically introduced the history of the hotel along the way. It was obvious that he liked working at Duiyuelou Hotel. ! When I entered the room, I saw the items purchased online were neatly placed in the corner of the room, and my mobile phone cards were placed on the table. The hotel and rooms are tastefully decorated, the rooms are clean and the beds are very comfortable. The location of the hotel is very good. Although the restaurants in the old street do not open very late, there is a 24-hour shop downstairs of the hotel. The siomai is delicious. Walk into the old street and find a unique coffee shop. When I woke up the next morning, I walked out onto an old street lined with lively shops and restaurants. When we left, the guy at the front desk helped us carry our luggage to our tour bus, and the manager girl came to see us off. She also gave me her WeChat account and said she could introduce some travel information to us. Later, because of the tight schedule, we didn't. We have no chance to keep in touch, but we deeply felt the enthusiasm of the hotel staff. This stay was very happy and unforgettable!

The hotel is in a great location. Next to it is the Yunnan People's Heroes Monument. Nearby is the famous Kunming Old Street, Oriental Bookstore, Nie Er's Former Residence... It's only a few minutes' walk away. The hotel is decorated in a retro style, comfortable and warm. The staff are very friendly. It was a very good experience.

I was very satisfied with the Moon Tower I stayed in this time. The old building and old furniture are very tasteful and completely in line with my aesthetic taste. On the old street, outside the quiet hotel is the bustling atmosphere of fireworks. The old street itself is very good to visit, and it is only 200 meters away from the May Day subway station, which is super convenient. The service is really thoughtful. They even helped me upgrade my room during the off-season. I am very grateful to the housekeeper Miss Zhang. She responded to every request attentively and felt full of sincerity. I stayed for four days and it was very comfortable. I was a little reluctant to leave when I left, and said goodbye to my room. I will definitely choose this hotel next time I come to Kunming.
