Friendly reception who is willing to go for another mile. We went there during a cold period and the staff setup a fireplace in the evening, upon request, to keep the guests warm.

Our last night of an eight day railroad trip was spent at the Yanqi Mountain Residence. We really enjoyed staying in a real Yunnan village and the surrounding countryside looked beautiful in the winter sunshine. Our rooms had an authentic village atmosphere, but were equally clean, well presented and well equipped. Breakfast was simple and delicious, and it was also possible to purchase a coffee (Americano or Latte) from the cafe at reception. We enjoyed a delicious meal of noodles and fresh vegetables at a nearby village restaurant. Everyone that we met was extremely friendly, including the kindly mother of the owner! Our children made friends with both local children and fellow tourists - and enjoyed the pool table in the communal area. Yanqi Mountain Residence is also situated extremely near to the Kunming Airport (although we never heard an aeroplane!) and the staff generously arranged a car to take us to the airport for our return to Shanghai.

Stayed due to proximity to airport, maybe 15 min, not far, but hotel quite remote. More of a local family weekend location. Room images are not realistic. Staff was friendly and helpful.

20mim from the airport and a airport pick up and drop off was organised in advance.
Staff were friendly and helpful and did their best to communicate with us in English. I don’t think many foreigners have stayed here but the staff really did their best to help us and advise us on where to visit and how to get there.
Food at the hotel was lovely.
Hidden gems all around the hotel, flower gardens, roof tops etc.

It was perfect for spending a vacation and taking a rest with my family. Only the road, there are too many trucks, and because of that, the rumpy road is all around to downtown and stone forest. But the rotation was very quiet and peaceful. The staffs are very nice, and I strongly recommend this hotel.

The courtyard is full of romance, very beautiful and clean, and the little sister is also very enthusiastic and provides good service. I will stay here for a few more days and will come again next time, and will recommend it to my friends😊🌹🌹

It was my first time traveling with my parents. The direct flight from Tengchong was cancelled, so we changed to an early flight in Kunming for transit. We accidentally found this B&B which was not far from the airport and had a very high cost performance. The photos were super good, the service of the brothers and sisters there was also very good, and there was also an airport pick-up service. Next time I go to Kunming for transit, I will choose this B&B again
